Well there is this guy that i really like and he likes me. He even broke up with his girlfriend for me. He always tells me about how much he loves me and everything. He is .perfect.!, but there is one problem..AGE. His mom won't let him date me bcause he could go to jail. Some of his friends have been giving him hell about it too. Others say we should hookup. His best friend is trying to tell him he wont go to jail. I really love him, what should i do!?
Answers4Evrything answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 5:01 pm: Well I would say what Mama dont know wont hurt. But thats not the right answer. Well if you truly like each other then hook up. But dont get too attached, sometimes older guys while leave younger ones for more "experienced" girls. [ Answers4Evrything's advice column | Ask Answers4Evrything A Question ]
Littleangelmk answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 3:31 pm: I was in a similar situation to yours. I was 17 and dating a 25 year old. Is he pressuring you to have sex? If so, this might not be the right relationship. But if he honestly loves you and you love him, then don't give up on that love! [ Littleangelmk's advice column | Ask Littleangelmk A Question ]
tgirl407 answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 2:59 pm: Okay so he loves you...really you need to put more details in like how old he is and how old you are because if hes like 18 and you are 12 then that definitely shood not happen but otherwise feel free to "hook up" with him!
Mackenzie answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 8:23 am: You failed to mention youR age heRe, so I'm not exactly shoRe what I'm dealing with, but if you wanna date him, what the hell... I say go foR it! HoweveR, if youR paRents aRe against it, peRhaps it would just be best to keep the sexual activity to a low, just to play it safe. Best wishes, and be cautious! Hope I helped!! TheTeenGirl answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 2:12 am: Don't date him. This isn't love, this guy is only a pervert, no love ever occurs between an adult and a minor. I know you've got those answers saying, "hey, age don't matter!" well, guess what? It DOES. You need to find someone your own age just as he needs to do, he has no respect for girls like you to be crushing on. It doesn't matter what hes done for you, hes an adult, a pervert. You are an innocent girl, do not let yourself get caught up in a dangerous relationship. I know you are probably going to take the advice of teens who are brainwashed into thinking that age doesn't matter, but I still tried.
Pixiemagic14 answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 1:45 am: well it really depends on how old he is.If he's 19 and your like 13 or 14 then he could go to jail. But if your 16 and he's 19 theres nothing wrong with that. Age is nothin but a number but in the eyes of the law it isn't. If you know that you having an emotional and physical relationship with him can get him in jail then you should just be friends with him. karenR answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 12:18 am: If he is 18 or older, and you are not...not a good idea. He could go to jail if this got serious between you because he is considered an adult and you are not. If your parents found out you were dating him, they could also get him in trouble. If this is the case, then I'm sorry, his mom and friends are right. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
redxroses answered Tuesday April 26 2005, 12:15 am: If he's old enough to be illegal, he shouldn't be listening to his mother. You should go out with him. It's only wrong if you guys have sex since you're a minor. [ redxroses's advice column | Ask redxroses A Question ]
Igotamonopoly answered Monday April 25 2005, 11:45 pm: Dating isn't illegal. Hugging, kissing, and any kind of sex are in most states. This is called statuatory rape if he does any of these things, and he could go to jail. I don't see the point of a relationship if you are paraniod over what you can and cannot do, so if I were you, I would not date him. If you are really in love, he'll be there when you become of age. Swimminbabe answered Monday April 25 2005, 11:32 pm: You need to wait, if you really love him you will wait until it is legal. Sorry but thats how love goes..you give things up so you won't hurt the ones you love. [ Swimminbabe's advice column | Ask Swimminbabe A Question ]

CaughtUp answered Monday April 25 2005, 10:33 pm: Girl!!! LoL..I know what your talking about. But as long as you DONT have sex then no one can do ANYTHING about it. You can date but not have sex, but if you did have sex how is anyone going to know?? Its NOT illegal everyone thinks so but its not as long as you dont have sex. And if your mom approves of it its okay because SHE would be the one to press charges and if you tell her how much you care about him and that the only way for you to be happy is to be with him she'll understand. If you dont beileve me about the law. You can call the local court house annomous and ask. [ CaughtUp's advice column | Ask CaughtUp A Question ]
sweetxcatastrophe answered Monday April 25 2005, 10:16 pm: um. well. he could go to jail. but only if there is public indecency. i, personally, would look up the laws and rules about this. but if his parents say no, you would get in more trouble not for listening to them.
