New athelete I'm a lacrosse player (female) and it is my first year. I just started to become athletic, and since I'm running so much, my toes/feet hurt a lot if I run a lot. Is there anything I can do to get used to running a lot so my feet don't hurt as much? Thanks so much!

soak them in warm water everynight before bed for about a half hour, although you probably already knew that. Try giving yourself a foot massage, or if you family is nice, get them to do it. There are cool little massagers at store like bath and body works that let you roll them on your feet and stuff. They look like balls with bumps all over them...try thouse too, probably will be worth the investment. However, Only time will get you used to the running, but the massages and soaking may ease the pain.
GOod luck with all that! ]
maybe you should stretch your legs more..mainly focusing on your toes/fett...also run heel to toe because my ankles used to hurt whenever i ran and when i went to get my physical for softball we told my doctor and he said to run heel to toe!

Try running toe to heel instead of heel toe, also strech your feet out. ]

It may be the lack of support in the shoes or the shoes may be too big or too small. That's where the problem usually lies.
But if you're certain it's not that, try stretching for at least 10 minutes prior to the game/practice. Since it's focused on your feet, spread them out, wiggle your toes, etc. ]
I don't know, I would try walking fast before you have to run and stuff, so your feet get more used to the pattern. Do it on the weekends and stuff, and casually bring it to a jog and eventually you'll get used to the feeling of running and won't have that pain anymore.
