abortion rights?
There's been alot going on about abortion lately and here's my take!
we have eighty year old male politicians and the abstinent catho-lics (nuns and priests)telling young fecund women whose bodies are basically setting them up to get pregnant, that contraception is not right in the eyes of god, and THEN after that, neither is abortion.
So this is what I get out of all of this-
Either we're supposed to deny our instinctual, primate desires and wait until marriage because they said so, or suffer pregnancy out of marriage and be locked in to raise their future goddamn tax payers- and not to mention- army ants.
NO, their god would FORBID that any human being ould have the control over their own body, nor would any woman be able to move freely and independantly throughout society living as she chooses, without being judged and condemned to eighteen years of servitude to some god-fearing patriotic moron's children?
This is yet another way in which the "man" is getting us down. (white rich male eighty-year old christian authority)
Anyone who thinks abortion should be against the law should shut their damn mouths and take a good look at our 99 percent old, male government and ask ourselves, to what extent will this desicion affect them? Are they about to get knocked up, or get someone pregnant? They can say it's not right to impregnate someone out of marriage or end the life of your unborn child, but when the hell will they ever be faced with such a situation? Do they really have a right to talk? Furthermore- DO YOU?????

I'm not an eighty year-old rich Catholic caucasian male, and I believe that abortion is wrong. First off, I'd like to say that CATHOLICISM and CHRISTIANITY are NOT the same. Catholicism was basically founded by the Roman emporer Constantine as a means for gaining admiration from Roman-Christians of the time period. Read the Bible, and read a world history book.
The Bible does not say that contraceptives are wrong at all. That is a strictly Catholic belief. The Bible also states that a woman has rights. However, one of the Ten Commandments states "Thou shalt <b>not</b> murder." Abortion is murder. It is the slaying of an unborn child. Don't even try to tell me that it's not. If a pregnant woman is murdered, how can the murderer be charged with two counts of murder if the baby isn't alive yet?
Abortion is basically for two types of people:
1) A lazy ass whore (probably a teenager) who had nothing better to do than sleep around with her boyfriend (or maybe some random guy) and isn't ready to take responsibility for their actions.
2) A person who was responsible and could take care of their actions but will die if they kept the baby. I really feel for this kind of person.
So please, if you can't afford or take responsibility for the baby, keep Mr. Happy in your pants.

This isn't a debate site, its an ADVICE SITE. You don't need to bash anti-abortion people, you need to shut your fat mouth and quit whining about it, abortion is legal, so its not like you are being screwed over. I don't care about your silly yet moronic facts about abortion and rude comments towards pro-lifers. Haha, once these white-collar, over-the-hill, while male chauvinistic bastards get knocked up for the third time, battle in court over child support from who they ASSUME is at least one of their baby's daddies, hold three jobs, one of which being a stripper, and have a rabid crack addiction, THEN I'll listen to their opinion on abortion and birth control!
We can all have an opinion. But that should have no bearing on anyone's rights. Let women do what they want with their bodies. If we have the technology, let's use it.

i dont think i would EVER in my life have an abortion. but i dont think it should be wrong to get one. i feel that anyone has their own right to do what they want. abortion should be up to the woman whos going to have that kid. i agree with you.

That's basically how I feel about abortion. I believe it is every woman’s right to choose what she wants to do with her body. How can some ass hole that has say in government get to tell me about what is wrong and right for my self? I'm not planning on ever having an abortion but I believe it should be my right if I so chose.
