My favorite song is one that my dad wrote for my mom called "Winter Feelings". Its about how grateful he was for her love and that when he was so sick. He wrote it with several songs and made an album months before he died. To this day I can not listen to those songs as it still hurts and he has been gone for 23 years!
But the best songs ever are those that come from the heart and soul of that writer/artist

I'm not a huge fan of Hilary Duff's by any means, but I love her "So Yesterday" song.

Perhaps my favorite would be "Probably Wouldn't Be This Way", by LeAnn Rimes. And of hers, I also enjoy "Nothin' 'Bout Love Makes Sense".
I'm a HUGE fan of "oldies", back in the 50's, 60's early 70's and such. Shelley Fabres' "Johnny Angel" is probably my favorite from that era. Also, "Take Good Care Of My Baby", by Bobby Vee and "Tears On My Pillow", by Little Anthony & The Imperials.
