Ok my birthday is coming up and im thinking about doing a tropical themed birthday party in my backyard. I already have ideas on music, decorations, and everything but i dont have a clue what to do for games and stuff. I kinda want the4 games to be based on the theme which is a luau(not 7 minutes in heaven or spin the bottle). Any ideas?? I rate high for good answers!!! (link)

Instead of having a ring toss - Lei toss
Pig in the blanket race. Have a couple of old blankets and have 3 person team. You can do this 2 different ways. 1: 1 lies on the blanket while the other 2 has to make it to the finish line without loosing the "pig". Or 2: have them roll the pig in the blanket. Team who finishes across the line without loosing the pig will win. Or the team who rolls the pig up fist wins.
Play pin the map game. (like Pin the tail on the donkey). Who ever sticks their pin closest to (pick a city in Hawaii (Honolulu) wins.

Well Sweetie, I know your not going to like this answer, but I am speaking from experience. Don't rush the guy to be more then friends or you'll loose him before anything can begin. Just for now say hi and make small talk. Also, what;s the hurry to have a boyfriend? You are 13 and need only friend right now, when the time comes you will know when Mr. Right is in your life. Make a lot of guy friends for now and see what happens.

my friend introduced me to this really cute sophomore (i'm a freshman) named matt, whos not exactly popular but he knows a lot of people. anyway, we started talking online a lot and he said i was cute but he wouldnt date me because i was a freshman. then he sort of came around after a week or two and we'd joke around about stuff.
i convinced him to go to the homecoming football game on friday night with me and we were all over each other, kissing and stuff. then i convinced him to go with me to the homecoming dance where we spent practically the entire night with each other freak dancing on the dance floor and holding hands and kissing. but whenever someone asks him if we're together he doesn't say anything.

I think just keep being friends right now. Don't be in such a hurry to get connected to any one as you still have your whole life ahead. Besides if you push too hard, most of the time you push them away or it leads to trouble. Stay friends,get your life together first. Besides the old saying You'll know when you meet "Mr. Right" and that will be the perfect timing to commit to someone.

take cresent rolls (Pillsbury) and unravel them, trake small sausage links and roll them up and pop in oven until rolls are golden brown. Also take english muffins and spread pizza sauce on them and add your own toppings and walla, you have mini pizzas

How about french tip nails and you can get them airbrushed with hearts and a jewel in each heart. Or you could go with red nails and white swerves with studs

ok im 16. i have been w/ my b/f for bout a year n a month. and i just found out im pregnant 6 weeks. i love him very much but my family really doesnt aprove of him or want him in my life! now that they know im pregnant they want to stop seein my b/f becuz they think he is not father figure becuz my b/f isnt really that good guy he drug deals and used to be in gang and used drugs but has sober for about 8 and a half months. i dont know what to do help do i stay with his family and him n leave mine his family loves me sooo much they were always there for me. help. i dont know what to do!!!! Girlfriend what is wrong with this picture. First of all you're 16 years old, pregnant and you're toying around the idea of staying with this jerk who can ruin your life for good. Maybe even get you behind bars. Because if you stay with him and any drug deals that go down you will be caught in that line of fire. As far as being sober, he still is into drugs and always will be. Do you intend to keep the baby? If yes, you may not be able to keep it as if your "friend" is dealing, things can and do go wrong. Is that fair to the innocent child you are carrying. Is it far that it will end up in foster homes as the 2 of you are running and hiding from the police because of the drug deals. This dude is bad news. Listen to your family, they love you and are concerned for both you and the baby. Run as fast as you can away from this guy. You deserve better and so does your baby.

My favorite song is one that my dad wrote for my mom called "Winter Feelings". Its about how grateful he was for her love and that when he was so sick. He wrote it with several songs and made an album months before he died. To this day I can not listen to those songs as it still hurts and he has been gone for 23 years!
But the best songs ever are those that come from the heart and soul of that writer/artist

What is your hurry? If you try to push things too fast you may loose him. Be patient. After all are you still with those that said they loved you? Take time, take plenty of time, you will win in the end!

I might be starting a drama club next year and I'm thrilled, but I have one problem. I know I'll probably get stage fright or something along the lines of that. I've been up on stage before and I got kind of nervous but not too but, but this is different. A lot of people come to see the plays, and if I get a leading role, I don't want to get super scared.

do as some of the professionals do, when I have talked to them they suggested to pretend there is no one in audience and that the play is a dress rehearsal. Also you could picture the audience in their underware, but that would make you laugh. Best thing to do is take a big breath and hope for the best. Some of the great entertainers still get stage fright no matter how many times they do a play. Good luck

ILL RATE 5'S NO MATTER WHAT!
I met this guy last week who was really interested in me but I wasn’t as interested in him(I was “talking” to one of his friends). Well we hooked up that weekend and told me he likes me. He called me everyday this week and I started to realize I liked him too and he asked me out on Thursday. Well we hung out this weekend and I started to REALLY like him but he didn’t treat me like a girlfriend at all. When we were with his friends he showed no affection whatsoever but when we were alone he would hug me and hold my hand and stuff. I talked to one of his best friends about it and he told me he would talk to him. On Saturday night my boyfriend called me and told me we should go back to just “talking” because he felt we were moving too fast and that going out with someone is a big step to him. I talked to his best friend and his best friend told me that he was the kind of guy who only showed affection when him and his gf are alone. He told me that my bf still really likes me but wants to slow things down. We were supposed to hang out on Sunday even though we aren’t goin out(he said we are still going to talk and hang out) but he called me and pretended like we never made plans of hanging out. I don’t know what I should do because I really like him (I’ve dated many guys this summer/school year but I’ve liked him the most and I think it’s because I feel like we actually connect).. should I go after him even though he could be leading me on? Or should I just forgot about him even though maybe we can make things work out?

Don't force someone to like you. Like he says take things slow you have your whole life ahead of you . Start off as friends. If you really care about him and want things to work out, take it slow, or he may head in the other direction and you don't want that

There's a big formal that's coming up in the next couple of months. It's called the "Noel Ball." It's held in November, but you have to send in a reservation for it now, and then you have to send in who is going to be your "escort" by October 7.
I'm a sophomore, and the dance is for sophomore girls and their "escorts" My best friend is a senior. We've been through thick and thin, we're really close friends. So my question is,
Would it be weird to ask him? and how should I ask him? Because nothing would make me happier than him going to the dance with me, just as friends. But I don't know if he'd want to go, since he's a senior, or how to ask him.

Tell him that you're too young to think of serious relationship and would rather be friends. That you want to get your career and life in order (school, career and family) before any serious relationship and that you two could still be friends. Tell him you want to figure out what you are going to do with your life, so when you do get married you will have the means to help support your husband and family when need be. Good luck to ya!

Well, look at what other rock bands did. They put a map of the USA up on a wall and threw a dart and that is how they came up with their name Bay City Rollers. I know, I know I'm aging myself here. How about picking some uncommon names out of the phone book like Nash and add something clashy to go with it. Try to look at other bands that are out there today and try to put a twist on them. Some other famous bands in my time like Beatles, Crickets, Monkees and such went after animals or insects. What names you come up with, put them in a jar and have some one like mos, sis or friend other than band mates pick the name and work with it till it suits you! Good luck!

(Sorry if this is long but i really need help). Me and My friend... lets call him Seth... well me and him have been friends for ever... and well in like june i found out who he liked because he told me.. and then i think that i realized that i like him... and he found out too.. and then it seemed like he was ignoring me after that and talking to the girl that he liked annd just like ignoring me.. so i told my friend that and then he said he wasnt and didnt want this to ruin are friendship.. so then he forgot my birthday even though ive know him since 2nd grade.. and then recently it seemed like he was ignoring me.. so i said something to him about it.. and he didnt say anything right away.. so i signed off and i have aim forwording on my phone.. so i got his message later because my phone was lost and the messages said "you no what i cant make you belive wut the truth is because its right in front of you... im not gonna try to keep apologizing because your the 1 that keeps ignoring.. making up dumbass lies about me friends... please.. you got some fucking nerve... if ya wanna be like that fine dont belive me fuck off" and that like really hurt me.... and i don tknow what hes talking about with making lies about him.. and now i dont know what to do but idk.. because he hasnt been on and i havent been able to talk to him.. i just feel empty inside.. and idk... Forget him and move on. Doesn't look as though he is a true friend. A true friend would always apollogize and talk things out with you. Doesn't look like he is the one for you, you deserve better. Sounds like he needs an attitude adjustment. He is not trying to work things out with you, so are you so desperate for his friendship to keep going back for more pain. Wise up and realize there will be some one who will be your true friend and will give you respect. Good luck, you deserve to be happy and you won't with this guy!

if you really care about this guy try to make notes on what makes him so special to you and stuff it in his pocket, tape it to the steering wheel of his car (if he has one, don't know your age). Make a note and give it to him that you have a surprise for him to meet you in the park at (time and place) and have a nice picnic and nice slow music to dance to. Or how about a treasure hunt, where you give him clues ( like put one on his car, saying the next note can be found blah, and the next and have the picnic ready. You can go to the $1 store and get cheap trinkets that will be giving him clues also.

Recently I had a slumber party. One of the girls(who is like my bff since 2nd grade) grabbed the phone and called this boy she likes. I saw nothing wrong with it. My mom and older sister though thought she was acting 'wild.' So now my mom is thinking that I am going to be wild. She thinks I also need an attitude adjustment. She also thinks that I'm going to be worse than my sisters attitude when she was 13/14. I dont think I need an attitude adjustment! What should I do to help my Mom realize I'm not wild. Mom is really concerned about you and means well, and in this day and age its hard to be safe in this crazy mixed up world. Sit down with your mom and sister and have a discussion without yelling and maybe after this talk things will be different. Ask them for a list of what you can do to prove that you are a good person and will not be like your friend. The other thing don't yell back at them when they yell at you and don't go slamming doors and act imature. Most teens are like that and it doesn't work. I used to be like that. It makes things worse. So sit down and come to an agreement that if what is on their list is followed through that you are more adult then like your friend and you can be trusted. LOL

Go live with your dad for the time being and tell your investagator that you love your mom , but she needs help and if she gets her life together than maybe you can rebuild the relationship. Your father is the more stable one right now and you need that! Lots of luck and prayers for your family!

Why do you feel so all alone? May be what you should do is take improvement classes to better your self-esteem. Maybe take up hobbies and create a new you. May be try to find a way to get the family together one night out of the week, like maybe cook the supper for that night, after some practice if you don't know how to cook. May be come up with the pieces of paper in the jar that will get your family to draw closer together, like games and pizza, movie and popcorn night. Also, look into drawing closer to God, He'll never leave you!
