ok...well this is really bothering me..cuz my brother told me i was spoiled and and i told him i do work around the house for my mom...this is the convo...
ME: i help my mom around the house i wash the dishes i clear n set the table i clean my room and make my bed daily and i always put away the groceries
HIM: how much do you get for all that?
ME: i dont get money i earn the stuff i want by doing that.
HIM: you are definetly spoiled.
please tell me if you think i'm spoiled...this is just gonna bother me alot((he's a half sibling))

i dont think your spoiled, but if you are who cares. i am extremly spoiled, i dont do any chores, never had a job, can do whatever i want whenever i want, i have my own credit card with no limit, a mercedes(04)..point is, learn to love it and take advantage of it while it lasts. if people tell you your spoiled like its a horrible thing, then they are just jealous.

Noo thats not spoiled at all. Thats how I am. If I clean my room and vacume and clean the rest of the house I get paid! Its good that you work for it that means you deserve it.

I don't think your spoiled, spoiled would be if you did no work and got stuff for doing nothing, or an excess of stuff that you really don't need.
You however work for what you get (and by the looks of it is a fair bit of work). I would say he is just a bit jealous or mad at you for some odd reason. Just what I think. Hope this eases your mind.

Well, it depends how much stuff you're getting for doing that. If you're getting a lot of new things just for cleaning your room, then (personally) yes, I think you're semi-spoiled. If you have to do this stuff all week and you do and then you get just a few things that you've been wanting, then no... you're parents think that you've earned it and you deserve it... and if you DON'T do the things you have to-you won't get the things you want. I don't think thats spoiled.

no your definatly NOT spoiled. if you do work around the house and dont get money, of course you get something for working. your not spoiled. its like your parents are paying you for cleaning but they are like spending it on stuff you want just like you would yourself. your not spoiled.

omg, your brother is so like my brother!! he's always telling how I'm spoiled because I have a lot of things but I never work or earn money or anything. just 10 minutes ago, he came home from work, and was outside my room and was like, "all she ever does is watch tv and sleep and go out..blah blah blah"
I'm just like you, like I wash the dishes, do the laundry, do my chores, and other things. you're definately not spoiled because I kno a lot of other girls out there that dont do anything at all. atleast you actually do things, it's not like you sit around all day, doing nothing and eat all you can like it's a frickin buffet, lol. your half brother is just jealous and he's lashing out at you for a really stupid reason, and trust me, you're not spoiled

Do you feel you take advantage of your mothers good nature? Do you demand things that she doesn't want to give you or guilt her about things she can't afford or doesn't feel you should have? Do you cry, pout or otherwise punish your parents when you don't get your way?
If you do. Then you are spoiled. Sounds to me like your brother was just being an annoying shit disturber. Aren't siblings just wonderful!
