well i like this boy right and he's spanish and i have no problem with that b/c he''s really sweet and cute. but all my friends do b/c im like white and we're totally diff and some of my friends are sort of racist. i don't know what to do b/c i rlly like this boy...what should i do

its good that you like someone of a different ethnicity other than some racist people these days. you shouldnt listen to what your friends think, if you like him, go out and flirt! get to know him better and if u have good chemistry, then go for it and ask for his number or s/n. sooner or later you'll either be really good friends or maybe even a couple. go to the movies or hang out and stuff! Shame on your friends for being racist. They obviously aren't your real friends if they care about the race of this kid..meaning they don't want you to be happy. I say ask him out. He seems awesome. And if I were you I'd ditch those "friends" of yours. You could do so much better and you should not tolerate their racial behavior.

continue to like him and ignore what your friends thikn if theyre racist then its thir problems but if they wont support a friend then they are not a real friend. so i say go for it. if YOU like him then it should not be THEIR buisness. if they are real friends they support you liking him and be happy that your happy.

I've said this to a lot of people because it applies to a lot of situations, but you need to decide what is more important, your friends or this boy. Truthfully, I don't know why you would want to be friends with racists. It makes you seem like a racist because you associate with them. Either go for the boy and teach your friends that they are in the wrong thinking the way they do or stay with your friends even though you know that the way they are thinking is not right. If you go with the boy and your friends are unwilling to change their opinion, then you might just want to find some different friends. Friends should support you and they are obviously not doing that.

You shuldnt care wat your friends think. If their racist...thats so dum. If you like the guy, go after him! If they have a problem with the race he is, that's their own problem not yours. Try to talk to them bout not being racist and explain that race is juss a color. If they still have a problem with this, then find new friends that wont judge people by the color of their skin.

Being hispanic myself, I'd say go for the guy. My boy friend isn't hispanic. Yeah some people may have problems with it but oh well. If they don't like it then don't look. If you really like him and he is sweet to you and makes you feel happy and special then that's all that matters. And your friends should understand that. If they can't then they aren't your real friends and you don't need a bunch of racist for friends.

This is harder to do than to say, but believe me you are better off- never ever let your friends influence you in this way. You are an individual with a will of your own, if you like this guy then your friends have to live with it. Be strong and dont take any crap.

Just explain to your friends how much you like him, and to you his color or race doesnt matter, so it shouldn't matter to them. Maybe once they get to know him better, they'll notice how sweet he is and will accept him! good luck
