how often a week should you do toning (by this i mean situps, crunches, lunges, and squats)? is everyday okay? and if you're doing these things, do you really need to do weights in the gym? (link)

every day is fine , try doing 10 or 15 when you wake up and 10 or 15 before you go to bed . you can do more when ever your want. you dont really need to lift weights. they willjust be of good use in toning.

I've liked this guy for a while and now he knows it, I haven't told him but he just figures/d it out. So, next week we're going to a party together and everyone who knows us says we should go together and that Josh likes me and he acts like it and says stuff that makes it obvious he does but when I ask him what stage he thinks our relationship is at he was like "Friendship" and I was like "That's it?" and he was like "Friends..getting closer and closer and closer..to the...top..like dating." He says that he does like me but he's not sure about exactly how he feels and all. He's trying to think it all through a whole lot. He doesn't think I know him that much, that I don't know the "whole" him. So, we talk and he said he wants me to come over his house sometime. We've gotten to be very close/good/whatever you wanna call it friends since school started. We're always ALWAYS talking to each other. In and outside of school. Another thing, he likes to talk about my "bubble butt". One day he even played the beginning of "Baby got back" up to "I like big butts and I cannot lie" and he was like "Thats all about you" and I was like "Why?" and he was like "Big butt". So the other day, we were talking about the party and he was like "How freaky and crazy do you get when you dance?" and I was like "Depends on how hyper I am" and he was like "You should eat a lot of sugar before you come" and I was like "And why is that?" and he was like "I don't knoooo" and I laughed. So then I said, "Are you gonna dance with me?" and he said, "Of course," then he said, "I need a girl with hips" and I laughed. Then he asked me what I was going to wear and I said I didn't know and he said, "You should wear a real tight skirt" and I was like "Why is thaaat?" and he was like "I don't knoooo" and I laughed again.
Me and him are always flirting no matter what, always talking and we talk about anything and everything and he comes up to me a lot at school just to talk to me. Even when we're in a group, we always manage to all behind or go ahead of the group just caught up in talking to each other. One day, we fell behind our group after lunch and we were goofing around in the hall and I pushed him and he pushed me and I pushed him and this boy behind us was like "Hey Josh, quit flirting with your girlfriend and get to class before you're late" and he just smiled slightly and looked from the boy to me, then we kept walking. I don't know, it's like there's some kind of connection between us that everyone else around us sees.
Another thing, I asked him if me and him were locked in a room together(we'd been asking each other hypothetical questions) would he want to make out with me and he said "Whatever you felt okay with" and he asked me "Would you want to?" and I was like "Yeah" and he said he'd want to, too. We also talked about once he got a new bike(not bicycle) that he wanted me to come over and ride with him.
I'm not sure what to do. I really want to hook up with him but I'm just so confused. I'd like to know what everyone else thinks of my situation if you could, thanks so much and I'm sorry this thing was so long. well....a tutor might help but for now start small ..... read books with easy word read slow and sound out each syllable and over time yu will pick it up

I've had a hamster before (when I was really young) and since have gotten into reptiles a lot, and have snakes and lizards and all that. So I'm pretty used to handling a lot of animals, (and, well, I wouldn't do something idiotic like holding a rodent before handling my snakes.)
I think rats are one of the most intelligent species of animals, and make great pets. I've always loved them, and I'd like to get a young rat. - I'm not sure how to take care of one, though. Are they OK in a regular cage? In a tank? Is taking care of a rat more complicated, or about the same as a hamster? If I do get one, I want it to have a full life. How long do they usually live?
I tried looking info up on these guys but everything was contradictory, depending where I got it from. Thanks for anyone who helps, and please - no comments on rats and snakes being "gross! eww!!!11oneone!!". They're really nice animals and beautiful creatures.

i had a rat and id probbaly suggest a tank cus somtimes they dig and sling stuff out of the cage and they may smell..... but they are very sweet and fuuny, but make sure its heallthy like me and my 2 brothers both had rats and one got ill and the other 2 picked it up. so have fun and good luck

Im 15/f and i really like this boy that is 13 and he likes me too. we are very close we talk on the phone and he even had told me that he had fallen in love with me.Everyone thinks that we go out cause we always together. I dont know what do to because he ask me out, and he is waiting for an answer, whats holdin me back is his age and that peoples might be talking like am too old for him, So im really confused what should I do? if you really like this boy then ignore your head and follow your heart. your age may seem BIG now but most people end up marrying people up to 10 yrs apart. 2 years isnt really bad . id say go for it !

in about a month my family and i are driving to florida from ny. there are 6 of us and we drive an expedition. im afraid that my 3 annoying brothers (11,7, and 4) are going to make this trip hell..what are some ways i can prevent this from happening? Also..for anyone whos stayed at a disney resort..whats your favorite one and why? We love the Carribean Beach resort but in case we go somewhere else what do you suggest?

bring a lot of stuff to occupy you like books music a cell phone a pencil and paper so that will get you through the drive and when your there just try not to let them get to you good luck have fun!

my hair is REALLY wavy and frizzy and cruly to a point were it looks horrible when i let it dry or blow dry it. so i bought a chi iron- if you dont know what that is it's supposedly "the best" stragitener- but when i straighten my hair with it after about ten minutes it starts looking bad! i've had it for about 2 years- so is it just dying? but it happened when i first used it 2! am i just not doing it right or should i use hair spray and how much hair spray? does anyone also know any other syle besides scruncing that might look good w/ my kind of hair? help is really appreciated! thanx! dont worry i have the same hair but for christmas i got a CERAMIC straightener. those will keep it from getting frizzed or dead. id suggest you do it at night then brush your hair BACKWARDS in to a ponytail. or if you do it in the morning brush it back wards in a ponytao; untill your ready to go or doo what ever. but if you dont want to straihten it then when u get or of the shower , put gel in you hair and turn your head upside down , put the towel over ypur hands and work it in. make sure you use the towel cus your hair will stick to your hands as you work it in and it wont come out right. i hope i helped!

Ok, in school I'm in the "popular group" and my friends are really nice and everything but sometimes they really annoy me. Here's why. Whenever a guy asks them out they'll like automaticlly say yes (even if they don't like them), and when a guy dumps them or they dump a guy they'll be going out with someone else within an hour. Anyway, for some reason this really bugs me. I don't really no why either. Now a guy asked me out and I said no because I don't like him and now they keep calling me too picky. What do I do? (link)

stand up to them. tell them "does that really make me picky that i dont like a guy and i said no? at leaset i dont go out with every guy in the freaking school." if that sounds too harsh then use diff. words but if theyr calling you picky and theyre going out with every guy imaginable, io think theyre just deperate to go out with any guy just to go out wiht him. stand up to them if they are real friends , theyll understand

Dear Advicenators,
One and a half years ago my brother *Henry* was diagnosed with hemophilia, which means that his blood does not clot normally. If he gets a cut, it's really hard to stop the bleeding. If he loses too much blood, he could die if the blood is not replenished.
Henry and I always liked to spend time together (he's two years older than me). We'd ride bikes to the park and shoot basketball hoops. He couldn't be too active, but he was my best friend and I felt safe around him.
Anyway, he lost a lot of blood one day, and was taken to the doctor for another blood injection. The horrible part was, that the person who had donated that blood was carrying the AIDS virus. The doctor proclaimed that Henry now had AIDS.
Henry is 15 years old, is in diapers, and must be fed through an IV or a tube. He has about 4 months left to live. My entire family is sad, and angry about it. My parents must monitor him all the time, so I always have to get a ride to my volleyball games. All three of us never have extra time, because we are always there for Henry and when he must be hospitalized. I had to drop out of volleyball for him.
Henry has been the butt of the jokes from the kids at school lately. They make fun of the fact that he has been in diapers. They are unaware of the fact that his brain is slowly being devoured, and he can't feed himself. The AIDS is tearing the whole family apart. But luckily, my friends are there to console me, but I always feel resentment towards the cruel kids at school. Can I please have some suggestions on what to do about that?
Anyway, as I am spending my last Christmas with my brother, I have no idea what present to give to him. Could I please have some ideas? I want it to be special and something he'll remember when he goes to Heaven.
Also, how can I comfort / cheer up my parents? They have been having lots of mood swings lately and have been very stressed.

Thats really sad im so sorry if people at school are doing this then dont be afraid to stand up to them u dont have to explain what it is but just say "Please stop because yopu have no idea whats going on so DO NOT make jokes, instead try and put yourself in his shoes" for his christ mas gift try and find an old picture of either you 2 or you 2 and your parents and take it to a store and re-finish it and amek it nice and pretty and get it re-sized. then get him a card with a poem or prayer write your own special note to him telling him how much you love him and what he means to you. and your parents- let them know that this is a time that we all need to stick together and we need eachother now more then ever remind them of the their blessings like dont be thank ful that hes dying, be thank ful of the time the Good Lord gave you with him . once agaiun im so sorry but i hope i helped. he will be in my prayers

continue to like him and ignore what your friends thikn if theyre racist then its thir problems but if they wont support a friend then they are not a real friend. so i say go for it. if YOU like him then it should not be THEIR buisness. if they are real friends they support you liking him and be happy that your happy.

OMG QUIT!!!! if you ever want to have a real life in the future (like haveing kids a good job or marrige) then quit it will be hard i know but ignore what other people say or how much you "love it" and just try and stop trust me if you dont now then you probally wont in the future so quit or you will regret it ikn the long run.

well I am a 19 year old female who has been in a relationship with a guy for 4 years. I feel i am insecure about myself and constantly feel myself feeling and thinking that i am not as pretty as the girls that he sees. I have become controlling because i tell him he cant look at other girls and he can not have girl friends. I feel if he loves me like he says he does then why does he need to talk to other girls. I do not like him to work with pretty girls because i am afraid that he will flirt with them and not tell me. I get angry when he stares at other girls. We are constntly fighting. Is this all my fault. How can i stop being so scared that he is going to leave me for someone better. Even though everyday he says he wont i still get scared. I don't understand this. I've been studying Psycology for years, yet I don't get why I can't fall asleep. I was diagnosed with Insomnia when I was 8. This isn't Insomnia. When I lay down to goto sleep, I get scared. As if something is in the room with me. Last night I went to sleep and I felt something behind me. I've been having this problem for 3 months. My doctor said it's normal, that it's just Anxiety, but I CAN'T goto sleep. What should I do? (link)

try a dif doctar maybe a new one would understand more. but try putting a tv in there and watch tv till u fall asleep maybe keep a light on make sure your comfertable in bed. i hope ur probblem is solved

I just moved to Florida from califorina a week ago,i now live with my aunt and uncle and 2 cousinns,AMANDA 17,JAACOB 15...I'M 15 turning 16 pretty soon...My cousin AMANDA is verry rude and annoying and just really a B*&%$...(i dont like to curse)anyhow from the day i got off the plain she wasnt all that nice to me...so over this week i have been hanging out with JACOB and i try to ignore her and stay out of her way...this makes me unhappy because we are family and we should be able to get along...i understand that maybe it is because i am getting all the attention but she has a job and she goes to school and becccause she is n advanced eveything she gets tons of homework and i hardly see her but when i do i wish i hadent...she is not verry social because of family issues...my question is this, is therre anything i can do so i dont have to walk on eggshels when i am arouund her???

Start in the corner of your wall and try and fill up that whole wall or set them up to where it spells sumthing like ur initials or your name or even the word hey! or crazily cuts some back grounds out or construction paper, paste the pics on then stick them on ur wall. get creative!

I asked my mother what would be the appropriate age to start seeing a gynocologist. She told me that I don't need to see one for a while (I'm 14). I don't know what she meant by "a while". What would be a good age to start seeing a gynocologist? And, out of curiosity, can they really tell that you've had sex/been fingered/ etc? What is it like going to the gynocologist? I'm quite nervous about even going at all because I hear it's uncomfortable and painful. Can anyone fill me in on your experience and share your knowledge about this? (link)
