When would be the best time? I asked my mother what would be the appropriate age to start seeing a gynocologist. She told me that I don't need to see one for a while (I'm 14). I don't know what she meant by "a while". What would be a good age to start seeing a gynocologist? And, out of curiosity, can they really tell that you've had sex/been fingered/ etc? What is it like going to the gynocologist? I'm quite nervous about even going at all because I hear it's uncomfortable and painful. Can anyone fill me in on your experience and share your knowledge about this?

I'd say 16 is a good age. I dont' think that they can tell or not, but i'm not quite sure. ]
I'm 18 and havent had to go yet... But I know that a lot of insurances require that you go when you're 18. ]
You really don't need to go until you are 18 or 20 unless you are sexually active, then it is a good idea to go now. Yes it is ocward your first time, but not painful. And even if the gyno could tell wether you have had sex or not, does it matter? She is going to ask you anyway. She is not judging you. ]
an appropriate age to go see one is like when you start to become sexually active. yes they can really tell if youve have had sex or any of that stuff. going to the gyno isn't bad as people say, its just showing that you are responsible for your body and health. you can im me on my screen name ox SweetKisses 0 . x0 ]
