i need help im a guy and my hair is like out of control its super wavy and when i try to grow it out it compacts and wont go down how can i straighten it out or fix it please?

I kno it sounds kind of girly but get a straightener. Two of my friends straightened a guy's hair before skool one- his hair was really out of control too- and it looked REALLY good!

use garnier fructis smoothing milk when your hair is slightly damp, or shampoo and condition with Simply Straight by Marc Anthony. any straightening shampoo works fine.. good luck

use gel or use a hair strighter in the stores for about $10.oo it is for girls but you might find it for guys too

This might sound girly, but use a hair straightner. I know tons of hot guys that use hair straightners and thier hair is so awesome. Don't try it if you have super thin hair though!

just buy a really good iron ceramic straightener and take ur time straightening it , piece by piece, layer by layer, that should do it, i have super ,atomic, wild, has a mind of its own, curly hair and i have a chi straightner and i just do my hair ever other day!

i would go to the hair dresser and get some tips!
and if that doesnt work take a shower in the morning and blow dry make sure you brush ur hair everyday adn then if that doesnt work GEL!

Try geling it down, or mousee works as well. Take some in your palm and push your hair downwards. Works best with gel when your hair is damp...hope i helped _s-tina

My brother has the same problem, and there are a couple of options.
You could buy a hair straightener, like the Remington Wet2Straight. However, you'd have to invest about 20 minutes every morning and probably put hairspray in.
Or you could try a straightening balm/spray. What you do is put it in your hair after a shower then blow dry. L'oreal makes a pretty good one.
Finally, you could get your hair chemically straightened at a hair salon. It's 20-50 dollars and lasts about 6 months.
Keep in mind that if your hair is thick then it won't look flat when it's straightened, I'd try a balm then if you like the look get it checmically straightened. Good luck!

oh my gosh, im about to be your angel! Im a 15 year old white chick with an afro... no lie... laugh if you want. But i had so much trouble working with my out of control curls that i went to a pro for advice. She reccomended that anyone with frizzy, curly, plain crazy hair try this product. Its called frizzease syrum. Its amazing. You can but it at wal mart for 7 or 8 bucks. and a small bottle goes a long way. You get out of the shower and put a nickel size amount all through your hair then as you come it blow dry it and itll dry pretty fast and look a lot sleeker. It wont make your hair permanently straight but its a quick fix. Let me know how you make out!

Well you could use this glorious stuff called after party-bed hard TIGI.. its from MJ capelli's and its in a hot pink clearish bottle.. it works well.. but it takes alot of edge off and it makes it smell good and look healthy n its soft to!! So its good for alot!! Hope I helped!! :) -trix
