is there anybody whos in tae kwon do or martial arts that could tell me the order of belts.. i know its white orange yellow then green... and does white really count?
K3587 answered Wednesday December 15 2004, 8:24 pm: I believe it went like this, in the class I was in: White, Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, Black. Between each color belt, you would receive a belt of the same color with a stripe of the next on it. For example, after your blue belt, you would receive a blue belt with a red stripe.
Black belts have different degrees; first through ninth, I believe. I heard about a tenth that was just an honorary title, but I don't know if anyone has one anymore.
Don't take my word for it, though. I dropped out of Tae Kwon Do just before I qualified for my green belt. This is just from memory. [ K3587's advice column | Ask K3587 A Question ]
