Could I be pregnet?
Okay, I recently had sex and the next day I forgot to take my birth control. (We didn't use a condom and i've been using it for about 4 months) the day after that I forgot and for about the next week after that I didnt take it. Is there a good chance that I could be pregnet??

there still a chance even when you remember to take birth control but if u took it before you should be fine. so dont freak out cause it doesnt matter after you have sex as long as you took it before ok

I have been taking birth control for 2 years now. Once you've been taking it for a while, it is already in your system. But you should schedule a doctor appointment just to be on the safe side. And even though you are on birth control, it isn't completely safe. You should still use a condom.

Alright, hun. I don't want to scare you with this reply, but I do want to help make you aware of a few things. Though I doubt that you are pregnant, there still is a chance that you might be. It only takes one time to get pregnant, and even the Pill isn't 100% effective. A good friend of mine took her pills religiously, every day at the same time and never missed one. Right now she is in labor with her first baby. What I'm trying to say is that there is always a possibility, which is why even when taking the pill it isn't a bad idea to have your partner use a condom (if you aren't allergic to them) and this lessens the chances of pregnancy even more.
If you are really scared, and your period is questionably late, it would be a good idea to go and get a pregnancy test. You can buy them at your local drugstore/pharmacy, and take them the next morning the first time you pee.

i am not to sure about that one... but i know they have new alternative to the pill ...they have some hormone that the doctor inject into you and it is like haveing birth control for like 1-2 months...i suggest you scope that out because if you foget often maybe it would be better to get an injection of horomones

you could be pregnet, however i doubt it! you have been taking the pill and for 4 months b4 you had sex, so the hormones are still in your system. i dont know if you know how it works or not. it makes it so that your body thinks that your pregnet when your really not. SO since you forgot to take it after the sex, im doubting it.. but there is still that chance. also if he pulled out before he busted then you should be totally fine, however if you are concerned go get a take home test and see. i know that this can be scary but if you ever need to really talk about this im here for you. i know, ive been there. There problaly isa because when you take birth control it takes away the hormones that you would usally get so it would have maybe have been best if you would have taken it a few hours before you had sex

hey i'm not the best at these things but i heard that if do have sex and missed a day of takin the pill then just go back and take it again. it shouldnt be that bad. Also you might just want to run to the drug store and get a pregnecy test just in case. hope i helped take care. x3 SweetStar.

Hey.
There is always that darn chance of ending up pregant. I'd <b>THiNK</b> that if you had been taking them regularly, that taking one after sex wouldn't make a difference. If you went off of them for a week, you shuld of gotten your period. Since you've been on them for 4 months, I'd say to just relax and wait for a bit to see if your period is late or not. Let me know how things go.

well even birth control pills dont always mean that you will not have a baby because there are slip ups. and well if you were supposed to have your period and you didnt then you really should go to a doctor, but if you dont want to because i wouldnt, i would look up some simptons online and buy on of those pregnacy tests ~*L*~

Even if you use protection and th epill there always is a small percentile of a chance you coudl be preganant so yes now you are evn more at risk, sorry hun but you need to use protection. I hope you don't learn the lesson the hard way

Yes, there is a chance, but not a great chance. If you had been taking it for a while and stopped for only a few days, there is still a lesser probability of pregnancy. You should wait until your next period and see if you are late, then go get tested.

if you've been taking b/c for a while and took it the day that you had sex than your probably not pregnant. But it never hurts to be sure, buy and take a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side, even though i don't think your pregnant.

Yes, there is a chance you could get pregnant. You probably should go and get tested. But remember, missing your period would be a sign, but when your stressed it throws your period off. Be more careful next time, and remember if you are pregnant, there's always people out there that you can talk to and that you can get help from!

Yes there is a chance u could be pregnant.. My friend forgot to take a pill and ended up pregnant just from that one time she was married of course though..If you don't start your period on time you should take a pregnancy test ! Hope i helped!
