I just got my period in July sometime and i use pads but i have her people say that tampons are so much better and LESS MESSY. but i am SOOOOO afraid to use one because just the thought sickins me. I'm asking people from experience....does it hurt the 1ST time.

dear advice giver,
I am 13 years old and I do not like my body. I am young for my grade and I am considered rather small in my grade. But what bothers me the most is that I have no breats. I can't even fit into a size A yet. All my friends have breasts but I am as flat as a cardboard. Consider this, I am a size 34 in sports bras but not the size A to go with it. My mom is a 34B and she says that she grew at a slow rate. Please help.

i dont think that you are puttin the tampon in right. you have to angle the tampon put toward your lower back and upwared. just take a regular size one and play around with it, figure out how it goes in. you really just have to figure it out on your own. ~*L*~

I am so fucking pissed off. This morning I found out my "mom" has been lying to me my whole life. I found out that she has been married before and got divorced. I also now found out that my sister and I do not have the same dad. I always thought she did. I swear she fucking lied to me. Thats not fine. My mom told my sister she was going to tell me all of this when I was 9 years old..I'm 14 getting ready to turn 15. What do I do? I can't ask her about it. She doesnt know taht I know. well i would talk to your sister about it ask her why she didnt tell you. your mother probably didnt want you to no her past, most mother wont. my friends dad didnt tell her that he had a wife and got a divorce before she was born. some how she found out and was really mad. she got through it and her dad told her everything that went on before she was born. her dad said that he didnt want to tell her because he didnt like his past and wanted her to live a better live with a mother, father and her. he didnt want her to have a sept-mother that treated her badly. im sure that you and your mother will work things out. you and your sister talk to your mom together and ask why she didnt tell you about it in the first place. im sure you guys will work it out. best of luck ~*L*~

Okay usually i don't mind when my boyfriend does stuff with me but not in class! i already am failing that class and i have to get my work done..plus i don't want people talking about me in a bad way like i think they were today. Today i was sitting by my boyfriend in class and he kept going down my pants and rubbin my back and ass and shit and trying to make out with me but i kept telling him no not now! But he wouldnt listen and it was really buggin me i couldnt get him to stop even when i moved my chair away he'd pull it right back by him it was annoying. So my question is: What do i tell him when i don't want him to do that kinda stuff to me? Because obviously telling him to stop doesn't work. ok im 17 f ny anyways Every winter on wednesdays i hae ski club after school ....go snowboarding and what not and anyways i called a babysitting ad in the paper because right now I work at a hotel and can onli work weekends because of school and the hours so I wanted more money and I love kids....I love babysitting so anyways the lady called and said the babysitting job is on tues wed thurs after school for a 2 yr old boy which i think woud be super fun ...shes paying about 3 dollars and hour but ifi babysit i cant go boarding on wednesday i can still go on weekends and stuff but i dont kno what to do (link)

I told a guy I would go to the fall homecomming with him but a week before I got caught sneeking out and got grounded. I told him I couldn't go with him anymore, then a couple days later my parents said I could go with him still. So I call him and and I asked him if he still wanted to go I could go with him, if not it was cool. But by that time he had another date. I really feel bad b/c I couldn't go with him and yes, I know it was really immature of my to sneak out. One of my friends said he thought it was rude of me to tell him I could still go with him...I don't get it, but should I appologize to him about not bieng able to go with him? I am a 14 year old boy who will get a caniche toy poodle in less than two months and I am very, very happy about it but there is a problem. Waiting is killing me. Those two months seem like eternity for me. What do I do to make me feel like the time is going faster. Hope you know what I mean.

I'm very overshadowed by my best friend. She's a very flirtatious, outgoing, redheaded vixen and everyone wants to be friends with her. Now, I don't mind it so much, I'm happy that she is well liked by people, but it's the fact that I seem to be getting less and less attention from her every time she meets somebody new. Especially guys. Every guy she meets has had a crush on her. (Except, thankfully, my CURRENT boyfriend...note that I said CURRENT..ex-boyfriends are another story) And often times she has crushes on them, but she still has to complain about them liking her. She seems to treat me like a child and she's the "All-knowing-one", especially when it comes to relationships, and it's really starting to piss me off! She steals my jokes and claims them as her own OFTEN and she says that I'm a bad friend because I once decided to stay with my boyfriend instead of going to hang out with her, while she has ditched me many a time to hang out with guys. (I can think of two instances from just last week.) I'm really bothered by her, yet I remain her friend and most of the time I really don't know why. And I want to talk to her about this, but I've tried before and she always apologizes and then forgets about it two days later.
And when it's just her and I things are fine! We have a great time and everyone's happy and once again I've become the comedian between the two of us, (material she later steals from me to use in front of her flirting victims), but when it comes to boys I'm completly ignored and she's off in the corner creating some sort of drama. It's weird for me, because before I befriended her I was always the center of attention among the group. I was the loud, funny, loving one who everyone wanted to give hugs because I would gladly dish them out. And now it seems like nobody has any time for me because they all want to be with her. Like she's taken all of my friends, but still claims that I'm her best one.
What should I do? I know the most logical thing would be to stop being friends with her, but we've been together for so long and we have most of our friends in common with each other, so there really would be no way to avoid hanging out with her. (link)

ok i have this friend... and she and used to have looads of fun together and she was someone i could act silly with ya know? but on halloween i asked her if she wanted to hang out and she said she couldnt because she had to "pass out candy" then later i found out that AFTER i asked her, her other friend asked her to hang out and she said yes... hmm a little suspicious? so i got over that but then last tuesday (the tuesday b4 thanxgiving) i asked her if she wanted to go see a movie on wednesday at like 2:30ish.. and she said that her dad couldnt take us or pick us up and neither could her mom... so i was like ok whatever i didnt really care.. but then the next day (wednesday) she said she was going bowling at 2:30! so i was lke well how are you getting there? and shes like oo my dads taking me and then my moms bringing me home at 4... whats up with that??? yea i forgave her once (is that correct grammar?) and now she ditches me again?? i dont think so... what should i do? is she a real friend?? and dont say "well try talking to her" because i tried that and she made up all these stupid excuses... i mean i want to be her friend but not if she treats me like this... any suggestions?

first you should have a DJ over your house. then once it is 9:00 have the DJ leave and have the girls ret a scary movie, once they watch the scary movie have all the girls that want to sleep over sleep over. then in the morning have a big breakfast with like eggs, beacon, pancakes, waffles, beans, muffins, ice cream, cake, and cookies. mostly watever they want. that is my idea of a great party. i hope that i help, tell your sister "Happy birthday" for me. ~*L*~

I have been cutting myself for a while now. My best friend Dylan knows about it and he wants to me stop. It is very hard to stop doing because it is addicting. Dylan and I got in a big fight last friday because he found out the night before I slit the crap outts my arms. He cares about me alot but I honestly dont want him to care. Ive been dating my girlfriend for 10 months now. The last few months have been a bit rocky, but things were really starting to get alot better, atleast on my end. Not on hers though. She wants to take a break, because shes starting to fall out of love with me.
