okay, i just started my peroid a few days ago, i`m 13. i found pads are annoying. i tried tampons but they hurt so bad and i can`t even get them in, is there something im doing wrong? i looked at the directions and everything, and i have almost the smallest size, can anyone help?
NEVERLETG00 answered Saturday December 4 2004, 11:49 pm: try putting the tampon in a different way, as it says on the directions sit down or one leg on the counter or something, if not i guess you gotta stick to pads, sry hun. x0 [ NEVERLETG00's advice column | Ask NEVERLETG00 A Question ]

icey0990 answered Saturday December 4 2004, 9:23 pm: I heard from a few places that using tampons during your first few cycles isnt a good idea..maybe try again in a few months. Its probably just that..it`ll take some getting used to. If your the type whos comfortable about talking to your mom about this kinda stuff..then talk to her. If not..maybe talk to some friends who already started their period.
