I am a 14 year old boy who will get a caniche toy poodle in less than two months and I am very, very happy about it but there is a problem. Waiting is killing me. Those two months seem like eternity for me. What do I do to make me feel like the time is going faster. Hope you know what I mean.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Maybe see if you can get a fish while your waiting. There always fun. Just dont think about it. When your trying to sleep just clear your mind. -------ryan------------ [ Ryan_10's advice column | Ask Ryan_10 A Question ]

1. don't think about it
2. well just don't get to excited, only when it's a week away. don't worry i care you want one. and i know you're probably thinking why should i not thinka bout it. but if you forget about it it will come quicker.
FunnyCide answered Wednesday December 1 2004, 3:01 pm: study about them. find out what kinds of food are best suited for your soon-to-be pet, and what kinds of toys it might like. you might want to purchase a bed or some toys to make it feel at home when it arrives. finding out where the breed started and the most common colors etc. will help the time pass faster and will help you be more educated and better suited to care for your new pet. Kr4z3y_Ch3lly answered Tuesday November 30 2004, 4:15 pm: OMG I LOVE POODLES! Your so lucky! Well to pass the time, does he/she have bed to sleep in yet? If not to pass the time go buy/look for a new bed! Also buy toys, accesorys what ever that will make the new dog feel welcome in the home! I've had a poodle before but he died from old age...Here are some tips:
1.They loved to go for walks! (no dobt about that)
2.If you go on a car ride take them with you!
3.If you go to the store take them with you..
4.They are super fast runners so try and let him/her run free once in a while.
5.Teach it tricks! They're really smart dogs!!
6.Also get him/her groomed often so its fur wont get matted up and yukey looking.
7.And last they love to play so play with him/her as much as possible!!!!
HOPE I HELPED! Also another way to pass the time is think of what your going to do with your new dog...What you will do together and all that good stuff!!! If you need any other information about your new poodle id be glad to help! [ Kr4z3y_Ch3lly's advice column | Ask Kr4z3y_Ch3lly A Question ]

chaos answered Monday November 29 2004, 1:50 pm: Read up on anything you can about your new pet. Maybe do some research on some obedience classes. Figure out where you would like him to sleep or what kind of collar etc.
Another thing you could do is volunteer at your local animal shelter. You can still play with the dogs and cats while learning to care for them. Or I started sitting for other people's animals because I didn't have time for a full time dog or cat. It helps a lot, and people are very nice about it. loser_of_the_centry answered Sunday November 28 2004, 5:48 pm: Think of something that's going to happen after you get the poodle and focus on that, like your birthday or something that happends every year that you get exited about and focus on that to keep your mind off of it.. then you'll think about how much you can't wait for that to happen and you'll have your new pet in no time.!!!
