LocaBabii answered Wednesday December 1 2004, 5:00 pm: well $3 an hour isn't good pay at all so for now i would say your better off with ski club. it sounds like a lot of fun. Since you like kids try putting up an add at your local library or something and add that you cant work on wednesdays. and if they ask you what you charge say $6 because thats way better and more fair to you. good luck

dinoold answered Wednesday December 1 2004, 4:12 pm: 3 dollar an hour..where do you live???
Listen most paretns do want afternoons if they work..tell you can do it on tuesday and thursday..but you want AT least 4 dollars....unless you live in a very small town...
two year olds are tough...but if you do great you might get a nightime gig and a referral from her...
But be prepared for her not to use you...ok if she works she needs someone is will be thee on time and on the days she asked.
PS are your friends doing it for 3 an hour?
I used to pay 4 for those under a certain age and 5 for everyone else..and people called me cheap!!
S_C answered Wednesday December 1 2004, 3:33 pm: Maybe she'll be all right with you babysitting Tuesday and Thursday, and she can get somebody else for Wednesday. And if that doesn't work out, do what you want to do even more, that's about all I can think of. If I think of more, and I remember, then I'll edit this. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
