I have very sensitive skin. It's normal-dry mostly dry. At the end of days, its oily. I have acne on my forehead, chin, nose, and area around the nose. About 80% of the acne are those bumps that aren't big and red but the small under the skin bumps you can see and its really annoying. I've used sooo many acne products and nothing seems to work. It either dries out my face or makes things worse. I got Pro-Active about 5 months ago thinking that it would clear my skin, but it didn't. Its very harsh on my face and dries it out..i even got rashes on my lip from it. I need something that is soft on my skin, but hard on my acne. It can't dry out my face, it needs to leave it hydrated. Does anyone know ANYTHING that can work on my face?
p.s. brands like dermalogica, clean and clear, neutrogena, clearasil ect. don't work on me. I need something more medicated..
Hey, have tried visiting the dermatologist and see what they have to say? I heard skinID www.skinid.com works but I've personally never tried it--yet. Online it asks you a series of questions regarding your types of acne and then it gives you the results. I know that you can only get it online too. Maybe you could try that? MAC Fluideline I believe that's what it's called. It comes in a jar and works very well. If I remembered correctly it's about $15-$19 in MAC stores. Hope I helped. =] Take care.
My parents.. well i donut even know what to say about them! My mom's awesome. She works hard and brings home the money. In fact she OWNS the salon she works at. My dad on th e other hand works at a golf company with metal and stuff. Because we're Asians who came to America without an education. so basically i have a lot of weight on my shoulder as the oldest child and the only one who may even graduate from MIDDLE SCHOOL. Anyways moving on. My dad's cheating on my mom STRAIGHT OUT no lie. And well i know.. because he droped so many hints its like he thinks im STUPID. he had a secret cell just for him and her and he had the bills mailed to his MOM'S house. my grandmother. and i don't know how he got her to agree into letting him guess he brain washed her. anyways. he talks on the phone in the backyard a lot because he knows we're all too old to go out and play there now. and my mom knows too. but she doesn't want to break the family apart. and just starting in august i told my mom what I've been seeing everything. and she tells me she knows! and they start fighting a lot now. they fight all the time in his room. for fact they're even fighting NOW. i don't know what to do. i have a baby sister thats too and a 9 year old little brother. and i myself am ONLY in EIGHTH grade. i have so much responsibilities at home like laundry and cleaning and my mom cooks. she barely has time to sleep. she goes to work from 10 to 7 at night and her shop is in San Diego which is a 45 min drive away. im doing my best but I'm also letting my grades slip. i want to do well in school but i want to help my parents too. HELP?
and then my dad what can i do? my mom actually wants to leave but my dad wont PAY for child's support. and the money he earns motherly is all for the casinos around here. I'm scared. what if our lives all start failing? and whats the point?? his money isn't do any good for us now WHY DO WE NEED IT? i'm so scared. i cry all the time sometimes i cant stop crying at night and watch tv until my face dries up. my sister is 2 she has asma when she was a newborn we had to watch her so carefully or shed stop breathing. we have medication and stuff for her. and i dont know. what to do because im scared for her. i bet some conseloour people online who helps me but i dont think its working. my parents have no idea what im feeling right now. and my teachers dont either. when i go to school im this cheerful little asian girl whos always lauging and smiling because i do im so cheerfull but when i go hme i feel like soemone slaped me in the face with all their might. the only person whos seen this happen is my best friend C. who lives up the street from me. and when i go to my friends houses im so jealous of them too. my dad used to be so nice and now this other person changed him. and we even think they have kids together. i dont know waht to dooO!!!!!
If you were able to tell your mom about finding out that your dad is cheating, I assume you have a pretty close relationship with her. I understand completely how you feel you have so much responsibility, I really do because I've been through this and current still every now and then. Talk to your mom about how you feel... and offer to try to help her out where you grades will not be slipping and you still have time for youself. If you mom wants to leave your dad then I personally think that is the best way to do and the sooner the better. Child support isn't if he wants to pay for it or not. If you go to court, it will be under the law that he has to pay for child support because he's being unfaithful to his current relationship with your mom therefore the judge should side with your mom. However, just so you know, I am not positive if that is how it really works... but it makes sense. Hun, try to hang in there the best as you can. If you don't want to confront your mom first, talk to a trusted teacher about your situation and letting a few of your teachers know that you're having family trouble will also let them know why you may feel not so yourself one day. And I agree to what you said... if your dad's money isn't doing the family any good now, why do you need it? You have hands and feet and can work for anything you wish. I hope I helped. me and my girlfriend have been going out for about 7 months, we've never really "gone at it" like fought fought, with screaming and yelling.
well im 15, turn 16 in march and theres kid that i DO NOT like who's 16 and drives. he drives her everywhere with her friends, and only once has he drivin her anywhere alone (which was from her practice to her house, and she called me once she got home).
he doesn't like me either, long story there but its irrelevant. so me going with her anywhere in that same car is out of the question.
i'm not going to lie i'm extremely jealous, and i feel like...worthless? because if she gets stuck anywhere, she has to call him to pick her up. and he's not a good driver, infact, i've heard of several "just missed" happenings with him. and my girlfriend was in the car.
His cars an old beat up ford contour, and i have a nice 98 camaro. minor relief there.
but once again, who's 16 and has a license.
is it ok to be pissed?

When I was 16, I got my license. lol Anyway, I'm sure you have a permit, right? Well it's before long until you and your gf can hang out together. In the mean time you can rely on your parents a little more when you guys want to go somewhere. I would definitely try to tell her again how you feel. I understand why you're jealous about someone else driving YOUR gf and her calling him when she needs a ride. Sometimes trying to do something once doesn't always work out and may take more than one try. Give a little more effort and let your gf know how you feel about this situation. i've been dating my boyfriend for almost 2 years and three months. we're perfect and everyone loves us and our relationship. we don't have sex because we don't want to take the risks (being seniors in high school with our whole lives in front of us). but we do lots of other sexual stuff. anyway, lately, he's been so.. annoying, as much as i hate to say it. i've always known he's been less mature than me. but for about a month or so it seems like i'm so much more mature than him. he talks about the most random, stupid stuff, and i get disinterested and annoyed, making him wonder what's wrong, and i can't tell him that i think he's annoying. so i just say nothing and we're off to the next stupid subject.
my point is, has anyone ever gone through a stage like this? i love him, no doubt in my mind about that, but it's just tough to hold conversations with him lately. advice please?!
Hey. I understand where you're coming from. I get annoying with my bf and I talk to him about it. It might be hard too and I totally understand but he loves you the same way, I'm sure he will be willing to fix it. Talking and communication is all it takes to get your point across. If he does something that you don't like be like "babe, I don't find that attractive." and if anything he would keep that in mind; however, if that doesn't work than try a different approach... More blunt, "Babe, I find that immature can you not do that anymore, please?" Do tell him a sincere way and not annoyed because with guys they will take it wrong. Plus maybe because You haven't said anything about the things he is doing to annoy you, he might feel like you're okay with it. Just let him know. =] I hope I help and I hope everything goes well. Ok, so im 16, well will be in a few days, and i have to take my driving test. i have my permit and everything, and ive driven a lot so far, almost a whole year, but im still worried i wont know some stuff on the driving test. like 4 pt turns and things like that. can anyone tell me some of the basic things ill have to know how to do, besides the obvious parallel parking etc? im worried i wont pass..ive never taken drivers ed or anything...
Hey. Ask some of your friends who already has their license what the DMV person is looking for. Its a really easy test and as far as I know paralle parking isn't required anymore[it also depends on where you live] but as long as you can pull into a parking stop without hitting the set cones then you're good. Most tests, like mine, I had to make a 3 pt turn, left and right turn, back up in a straight line, pull into parking spot, and drive forward and hit the breaks. Maybe spend a little bit of time in a parking lot and practice with a parent on those elements and have them check you off to see how well you're doing. Ok, so a couple of days ago, my mom and i went walking at a local track. I jogged one lap, walked two, and jogged another. I went 4 times around it. My legs have been hurting since then. (It was 3 days ago, to be exact.) Is this natural? I mean, I know i'm out of shape, but should my calves feel like they are really cramped up??
You're sore thats all. If you don't normally exercise then that's what happens. It happens to me all the time because I would be very active, stop for a few days and resume. Take care =]
I weigh 130 pounds and i'm around 5'3. I think I really need to lose weight, but whenever someone guesses my weight they always say 110 or 115. I don't understand why they think that when I can tell I weigh a lot more than that. I do play softball, but I don't exercise daily or anything. Could it be muscle?
It's your muscles because I'm the same as you and everyone thinks I weigh less than 130. You're at a normal weight anyway and if you think you look good then the number shouldn't matter. Take care. =]
I use the tanning bed but since I have been using it my sides are white!! How can I changes this? Should I lay on my tummy while I tan or what?
You can try using a stand up tanning booth. There are light bulbs all the way around and it help prevents streaking on the sides. There is also two bars in the stand up bed that lets you tan the underside of the arms.
Im trying to show how Jupiter acts like a cosmic vacuum cleaner and collects all of the astroids & comets. Any ideas on how I can show that in a model in an easy way?
I would say bake a round cake, decorated like Jupitar and use sprinkles and candies to represent astroids and comets. You can even just bake a normal rectangle cake and draw the picture on the cake. Then you can have the class eat it. lol. I like to use food for my projects...so yeah just a thought. =]

Hey. It depends on what kind of hair you have and what you want to target. I've been using Herbal Essences Hello Hydration, $3 at Walmart, and it leaves my hair unbelievabley soft. It also works well if you use hot tools on your hair a lot, like me I flat iron my hair frequently and the shampoo and conditioner totally keeps my hair soft. Is there a free program out there for windows that can convert AVI files to files recognizable by itunes so I can put them on my iPod?

It's on my other computer so I don't remember what it's called but if you go to download.com and type in iPod converter, it brings up a lot of programs telling you if it's free to try or just free. im really confused is a 4.0 like perfect gpa and then 5.0 if you are taking honors or is 5.0 perfect and 6.0 is if you are taking honors?
or does it depend on the school?
Hey. It depends on how your school operates with the grading scale. For me, AP courses are considered to be 6 points with an A, Honors is 5 points with an A, and regular is 4 points with an A. If your are in all honors and scored straight A's then your GPA's a 5.0 and if all AP with straight A's then a 6.0. Hope I helped. Take care!

Hey. I got mine done when I was 13 and when I got it done because I wanted it and liked it not what others might think about it. I was a bit fluffy back then and a lot people asked me to show them and said to me I shouldn't have gotten it and crap but I didn't care what they said. So if you want to get it done, get it done. Research online for aftercare responsibilties and where might be a safe and clean place to get it. Plus your mom is allowing you to get it, I would take the opportunity before she changes her mind. What are some cool things I could do if I get acrylic nails? Like what colors are cute and should I just get the tips done or should I do a design or the whole nail? Also how much does it cost and do they feel weird?
Hey. French manicures are more classic as stated by previous advicenators... If you are more of a wild person then you can go for unique hand designs and they are usually on display everywhere at the nail salon. I'm more of a boring person and goes for a lot of pink. You can always try French manicures by jazzing up the tip colors, instead of white, try black, red, green, neon pink with sparkles and rhinestones. I personally love silver glitter tips. It depends on the length you want them to determine if they will feel weird or not. I get them very short to where they are almost as long as my real nails so they don't get in the way yet are still pretty. The cost depends on what you get on them... Usually with a French manicure it is $25 and will be more with hand designes etc. I recommend you ask them to not put white tip nails on you so when you go back for refills and such they white tips will not make your designs look weird. okay so i just got my belly button pierced and i was wondering if when i went swimming like in a lake would it get infected like by the water or would it be fine and all I'd have to do is clean it after or can i not go swimming until it heals compleetly???
When I got mine done, I was told the chlorine in pools will help the healing process. However swimming in lakes will most likely bother it. Lakes contains a lot of organisms and parasites. It's better to avoid the lakes. Hope i helped.

Hey. I'm in winterguard for my school... it's another form of guard but indoor instead of outside with the band. Usually at guard camp they will teach you basics on flag like how to drop spin it and possibly learn how to toss the flag properly. Teach you how to march and mark time. You might be able to spin weapon like rifle or sabre.. Oh and they teach you have to jazz run and body movements. i hope i helped. let me know if you need anything else. take care =]
