Ok, so a couple of days ago, my mom and i went walking at a local track. I jogged one lap, walked two, and jogged another. I went 4 times around it. My legs have been hurting since then. (It was 3 days ago, to be exact.) Is this natural? I mean, I know i'm out of shape, but should my calves feel like they are really cramped up??
xXxPuNki-PiXiExXx answered Thursday July 5 2007, 7:35 am: ALWAYS stretch before you do any excercise. I always thought it was pretty stupid but i ended up hurting my ankles alot if i didnt do it. Make sure to do this before you go for a run or jog or walk. If your out of shape or haven't been excercising for a while then your muscles arent used to that strain and are hurting. If you continue regular exercise the pain will go away. [ xXxPuNki-PiXiExXx's advice column | Ask xXxPuNki-PiXiExXx A Question ]
kait_1991 answered Tuesday July 3 2007, 6:07 pm: ok well this is going to sound weird
but if it hurts you no your doing something right
its the muscles all coming together
if you work out and don't feel any pain at all it reli means that your not pushing yourself enough
so don't worry about it and keep at it your sore muscles are telling you your doing well =D
SweetStarx89 answered Tuesday July 3 2007, 5:59 pm: You're sore thats all. If you don't normally exercise then that's what happens. It happens to me all the time because I would be very active, stop for a few days and resume. Take care =] [ SweetStarx89's advice column | Ask SweetStarx89 A Question ]
xeey99 answered Tuesday July 3 2007, 5:49 pm: Yup. Its just because your legs arent used to exerise like that, so there going to hurt. I hadnt ran in a long time and i started running and the day after my legs KILLED and hurt for several days after. Its really normal. Your muscles just arent used to it.
