Just out of curiosity, what does "hooking up" mean to you? It seems to mean something different for everybody...

To me, "hooking up" means to be "going out" with somebody, like boyfriend/girlfriend.
Also, people interpret "hooking up" to be like a one-night-stand type thing, but I'm really not sure of the true definition of it because it's slang! =)

to me...it means goin out...but to people who have been dating for a while, bangin

As far as I'm concerned, hooking up is making out, but you're right so many people have different interpretations of it, thats why I just don't use the term.

To me it means getting together with someone, you know? dating someone, boyfriend/girlfriend kinda way?

Hooking up to me means getting together with someone like boyfriend and girlfriend! So hooking up is like going out!

Hooking up means Makin out with a guy.. You dont have to like him but that would make it a lot better if you did. Sometimes it can lead to more and sometimes not. K well thats wat I think of when I hear 'hook up'. K hope this helped!!

Well from what my experiance with others I guess it means like make-out and other stuff. Well thats what guys say it is anyway. There are alot of other ways to say it! bye*

well from what i've found out....'hookin up" means when u just chill wit a guy/girl...and end up kissin...ur not going out or anything u just chillin and hanging out...some ppl call it "talkin" or "gettin to kno eachother"...xoxo effy

Not really being "exclusive" but just like hanging out for pizza, or seeing someone you kinda know somewhere and then going and doing something

well, when you say it in a way, like lets hook up tonight, it pretty much to me means lets hang
But when a guy says you wanna hook up, you better make sure whether he means hang, or date
some guys mean date, and some mean hang
I guess it depends the way that they use it.
