normal discharge is a whitish color, isn't very thick, and usually has no smell. Yeast or nay infection will be thick, yellowish, brownish, or even greenish, and have an odor.

Gotta hate being a girl....You'd know if you had a yeast infection, it's one of the most uncomfortable feelings...u'll get an itching/burning sensation and probably some oder in ur discharge...you should go to a doctor, but if you feel uncomfortable telling your mom or something find someone to take u to somewhere like walgreens to get an over the counter medication because it will go away a lot quicker!! good luck with that, I know it sucks!

Normal discharge is a clear/white color and is slightly odored but not overly odored. A yeast infection discharge will have a yellowish color to it with a distinct strong smell. Also, you will burn/itch "down there" with a yeast infection. :)
