i know this sounds weird but....
ok i'm scared to go to high school because i hear you have to shower in front of all the other girls!!! i really don't want to do that it's really gross!! what do i do??!?!?!

I heard the same thing but we didn`t really have to. And the showers for high school at my school and curtains and walls so there`s no privacy issue. But if your school is different and you do see other girl`s bodies, just build up your confidence and know that the other girls are probably just as anxious as you are. If you really are nervous then bring your bathing suit or an extra bra and underwear and change those clothes too! That`s what I`d do!

Well if you HAVE to.. bring a swimsuit.. I just shower before and after school thats what you could do but i dont think they will MAKE you do something your arent comfortable doing its just for if you want to be clean after gym.. if your lucky like me i got gym last class-trix

You never have to do anything you don't want to do. Throughout my entire school life I never had to shower in front of anyone. Don't worry about it - they can't MAKE you do it!

well all of you will have the same parts and things so there's nothing to be afraid of. If it's that much of an issue, close your eyes :) all the other girls will probably feel the same so please don't worry.

It varies from school to school. Personally, the GUYS in my school HAD to shower. If they neglected to shower 3 times they failed the class automatically. However, the GIRLS DID NOT have to shower. They could if they wanted to, but they DID NOT have to!! I think it's because the girls have that time of the month when it's very embarrassing to shower around others, and boys don't.. if you get my drift there. Also, I don't know where people are getting this curtain/stall thing. My school DOES NOT have that. They should though!!! I'm sorrie I can't give you a definite answer, I'm just unaware of the way your school runs. Just ask anyone who goes/went there. They'll tell you. I hope things work out! Nobody had to take a shower at my school. There's no law that says you have to take a shower in high school.

NO NO NO! You don't have to shower in front of girls. They have curtains now and you can take a shower in your swimsuit if you want. So, its okay, no worries!

At our school, you don't have to unless it's during swimming in gym class, and then we all wear our swim suits, so it's no big deal. If you have to shower during regular gym, bring a bathing suit [[ and if the floors are grungy looking, some flip flops :o) ]], and it'll be fine, cause nobody really looks at each other anyways.

Don't be scared to shower in front of everyone. There will be other girls thinking the same exact thing, and really not wanting to be there. You won't be the only one scared, you got your entire class that is scared too. I'm going into ninth grade too and i don't want thirty girls seeing me naked, but remember, don't be scared of them, be scared with them

Talk to your gym teacher *or one of the teachers* about it..i have heard many things about girls being emberassed about taking shower w/ there piers in gym and stuff...usualy they get over it..if you dont then i bet ur teacher can help u work it out..GOOD LUCK!

Hey.. i wouldent worry.. in my school.. we had individual showers.. im not sure about all schools.. but.. i think they are pretty private sometimes.. and i dont think that u really have to shower.. either.. but its up to you.. relax high school is a fun time!!

you don't have to shower infront of girls unless you are in a sport. but then I don't think you need to. and plus its not a big deal they don't look at you. they don't watn to see you as much as you don't want to see you. good luck

Well, let me tell you this, it's illegal to MAKE somebody get naked in front of people. I mean sure, they encourage you to take showers, but they can't MAKE you do anything.

some schools have one big shower and for the ppl more conservative, they have little stalls on the side for 1. idk if your school has that. i know mine does. dont worry about it. whats there to hide? you are all women.

Well you do but seriosly, what is there to hide? All girls know about what a females body looks like, who cares if you have un-devolped boobs, no1 is going to tell the whole school. anyway you arnt the only one whos afraid, most girls are afraid. Dont worry, you will b fine.

i know thats why i was scared to go into high school to...but actually at mine u dont have to shower infront of all the other girls,not naked atleast..if u feel like showering naked infront of them u can go ahead...most ppl at my school didnt even shower after gym class-gross i know but we only have 4 blocks so ppl didnt care, so u shouldnt worry about it, just be cool with it. im suer u can always wait till u get home to take a shower? otherwise bring ur suit with u and shower with ur suit on.. =D

I'm almost positive they dont do that anymore. I'm in high school and they do not make you do that, especially your first year! I wouldn't wanna do it either, but I'm pretty sure they do not make you do that at all. dont worry, high school isnt that bad! hope i helped xo
