first of all, take a deep breath. Im really sorry to hear about your friend, but you can't blame yourself for her actions. no matter if you were crude to her, which im sure you weren't from the way you sound horrible bout what happened, she chose this. I don't know, she could have gotten help perhaps, but again this was solely her decision. It is NOT your fault. i know you are probably feeling like crap, you feel guilty, and you feel really depressed, but honestly the best thing you can do is try to carry on. Being depressed and stressed and removing yourself from your everyday life, won't solve anything, and it won't bring her back. My suggestion to you, is talk to someone you trust. Maybe your mum or father, or even a counselor or teacher, or even a friend. i honestly think you need to talk to henry about this. beacause sweetie, 16 is too young to start a family. if that is what you both want, then it is different. but once you start a family, it is with you for the rest of your life. everyday you have to take care of them, and don't always get the time you need for yourself. if you want to wait until you are sure that it's what you can handle then i say talk to him about it. if he truly cares for you, then he will understand and wait for you. i hope i helped some. take care.

Does anyone have any tips on how to stop cutting?
well it's hard to stop, because when you cut, it releases chemicals to relax you. but anywayz, try putting a rubberband on your wrists. you can get all different colors so it doesn't look odd. then everytime you feel the urge to cut or you start getting depressed, or are around the things that usually trigger your cutting,snap the rubber band until the urge passes. don't hurt yourself with the rubber band, but snap it enough so you get brought out of the trigger. hope this helps, and if there is anything else i can help you with, just let me know:)

well i have straight and layered also. try curling it. try flipping it out, where the ends come up, or try curling it under.. another cool thing to do with layered hair is do little spiral curls on the different layers. not all, just some here and there. also after you wash your hair try blow drying it but not all the way, leave a lil' still damp, then comb it so it looks kempt.. it provides a cool natural look. hope this helps some
