Okay well my ex boyfriend and I were dating for 9 months. Then he dumped me on our 9th month annerversary. I was so depressed. And to top it all off thats the day i sent out invitations to my 13th birthday party and he was invited. But anyways. I was so upset he dumped me cuz he liked another girl. I mean he never has had a chance to go out with her so far but its close. I still really like him, but im not sure if i should tell him or not bcuz he likes this other grl that he dumped me for...((which she has a boyfriend)) he tells me this grl likes him too though. I am 13 years old, i am about 5'2 and i weigh 115-120 pounds. i want to weigh at the most 105. I really want to lose weight, but am having trouble. there is never any food that i like at my house that is healthy, so i snack on shit. i swim 4 mornings a week on a swim team, and play sports in school, but i never seem to get thinner. i really want to lose 10-15 pounds before school starts...on the 6th of september. is there anything that i can do to make myself thinner in time? also, i am having trouble ridding myself of acne. i heard toothpaste works, but does it work WELL? also, how long do i have to keep it on for? how much should i put on?

Hey, ask your mom/dad to take you to the grocery store to pick out some healthy foods that you will like. Try eating as little junk food as you can. Also make sure you wanna lose weight for yourself and not for the boys or anybody, but you. Uhhh... I've heard that to, but i'm not sure toothpaste will work. I've heard from alot from alot of ppl who have tried it that it doesn't. Try looking at the store for some acne remover stuff or w/e.

how do you make your advice column different colors..do you have to enter codes or anything..help

Hey, go to 'Column Settings' and then when you're on it go under 'Your Column Colors' and you can pick the ones they gave you (on the left and they are mostly black, hot pink, yellow, etc.) or you can go to the colors chart (it's a blue link ending the sentece above the colors, but i don't remember the sentence or the link). Hey, this is hard because I know that you love both of your parents. They both love you so that's why they both want you to be w/ them. I know it probably feels as if you're being split in half. But you shouldn't just want to stay w/ your dad because your having the "time of your life" because after you would move in with him the fun wouldn't last forever. Money doesn't grow on trees and it can't just be entertainment forever. You need to think about who you'd be more comfortable with and who would be able to fulfill your needs, not just your wants. Hey, if you really like him and if he makes you happy then you shouldn't listen to what other people say, but if he's been a player in the past then you need to be careful. Also if you're friends are telling you this stuff, too, then you need to sit down and talk to them because they may have important things to tell you that may give you second thoughts. I am 14/F..My best friend and I have been friends for two years, best friends for about a year. We used to talk every day on the phone for atleast an hour, just getting to know each other really well. Eventually it became him being very upset because his mind is so mixed up because of his drug and acholol use. This is where the problem starts..he drinks and smokes..i don't, I totally dissaprove of all that. But, I stuck by his side. No one else did. He has called me at two and three AM drunk and eventually he just gets into a crying fit after about an hour of us talking..Eventually about after 6months of me telling him and telling he needed to quit he realized what he was doing was wrong and he quit for almost two months. No ciggerettes, pot, or acholol. Just recently he has started drinking again. I told him I wish he would stop and he said no i'm 14 and I want to have fun, people change. I'm torn to pieces that he thinks this. I have read internet articles about acholics. Drugs and acholol have totally taken over his mind in the past two years. So in actuality when I talk to him , its sort of like i'm talking to the drug, or so thats what the experts say. I just want my Best Friend back. I'm not sure how to approach him that he will not get mad. If anyone has any advice or can relate to me iM me on AOL (bballxbaberzx33) i'd really really appreciate it!!!

Hey, you obviously care about him and want the best for him so you need to tell him that and why you're worried. I feel that my father is cheating on my mother. There are some obvious signs, and I'm not sure on whether or not I should confront him about it. (I'm thirteen.)

1) There have been small pieces of paper in front of the family computer with porno sites on them.

2) I have seen porno links on the computer's history.

3) At strange times of the day, his 'work' cellphone rings, and on the phone's interface it reads 'private call.'

4) I went onto the computer one day, seeing that a Singles website was completely filled out with my father's information.

My feelings are mixed--it could all just be a coincidence, and if it isn't, should I confront him about it or would I just be getting in the way? Please help me guys.
