It does sound like it very well could be IBS.If all of your home remedies have failed, like Mylanta,Pepto-Bismal,Kaopectate(sp?) and Immoduim AD,then it's time to get to a doctor. He may recommend that you see a specialist.I suffered for months with horrible stomach pains and problems and no doctors had any answers, until finally I was diagnosed as having a spastic colon(or a form of IBS).I've been on medication since and it's helped me tremendously!!!Get yourself to a doctor my dear!!!Write me back and let me know how you're doin! Hope you feel better soon!!

First off, drink some pedia-lite, to replinish everything that the dirrahea got out of your body, and make sure not to dehydrate as well. eat as little as possible, and if you do have to eat, eat an apple, or something light. pepto-bismal makes matters worse for some people, so be careful when you use it. But most importantly, ( and i'm sure you've herad this before), go to the doctor to see whats wrong, sure you might not agree with going to a doctor, but what other options do you have? i hope i helped, and i hope you feel better.
Much Love,
Victoria

<span style="background: url([Link](Mouse over link to see full location); Here is some info on IBS and maybe it will help you figure out if you have it...

What is IBS?
Irritable bowel syndrome, or IBS, is a problem that affects mainly the bowel,* which is also called the large intestine. The bowel is the part of the digestive system that makes and stores stool. The word syndrome means a group of symptoms. IBS is a syndrome because it can cause several symptoms. For example, IBS causes cramping, bloating, gas, diarrhea, and constipation. IBS is not a disease. It's a functional disorder, which means that the bowel doesn't work as it should. With IBS, the nerves and muscles in the bowel are extra-sensitive. For example, the muscles may contract too much when you eat. These contractions can cause cramping and diarrhea during or shortly after a meal. Or the nerves can be overly sensitive to the stretching of the bowel (because of gas, for example). Cramping or pain can result. IBS can be painful. But it does not damage the bowel or cause any other diseases.

What are the symptoms of IBS?
The main symptoms of IBS are

crampy pain in the stomach area (abdomen)

painful diarrhea or constipation

Most people have either diarrhea or constipation, but some people have both.

Other symptoms are

mucus in the stool

swollen or bloated abdomen

the feeling that you have not finished a bowel movement

Some foods make IBS better.

Fiber reduces IBS symptoms--especially constipation--because it makes stool soft, bulky, and easier to pass. Fiber is found in bran, bread, cereal, beans, fruit, and vegetables.

So if this sounds like you at all talk to your doctor about it and I'm sure he will give you a new diet to follow. I hope this information helped. Oh, and maybe if you just try watching what you are eatting for a day and record it. Get better soon! -Mandee

Get some Pepto Bismal. Contrary to popular belief, this actually DOES work for something other than getting co-workers to tango. It may be IBS, so if it keeps on for more than a week I suggest you see a doctor.

If you haven't already seen a doctor, do so. I have IBS but it isn't too terrible unless I am stressed, upset, or have eaten a bunch of fatty foods. Believe it or not, some yogurt helps a little bit because of the "good bacteria" that is in it. Bananas also soothe my stomach some. Do you know if you are lactose intolerant or not? That could be a problem too. I would definitely avoid eating later than 2 hours before bedtime and monitor what I am eating for a while. You may just have to resort to chicken soup and crackers until it all calms down.
