I'm so sick of being alive. Everything is so hard. I can't stand it. It's like I'm doing something wrong. I have few friends, but it doesn't matter because I don't like them. I don't like any one. People don't meet my standards and they never will. And when it comes to girls I have no idea what I'm doing. It's like there's some secret technique that every one but me seems to understand. My problems with girls contribute the most to my loneliness and depression. I'm unmotivated in school, because I care more about trying to find a place I belong, trying to find some one who understands me. I can hardly sleep because I'm always worrying about all this. I'm scared I'll never have friends. I'm scared I'll never have a good job. I'm scared I'll never have my first kiss or have sex, and if I do it will be with some one I don't want to do it with. Somewhere between now and the next few years I 100% sure I'll be dead. I can't take it anymore. I've been to therapy and they even locked me up like a criminal in a mental health ward, but to no avail. I hate life. I hate myself. I hate every one, especially if they're happy. I don't see things ever getting better. Please help me. And don't post anything about God, Jesus, or religion of any kind, it will be an automatic 1 on your rating.

my friend, lets just call her stacy and i used to be inseperable. we were best friends, we would hang out everyday, cuz we were neighbors so we could. anyway, lately shes been hanging out with a popular girl, lets call her lily. so stacy has been hanging out with lily, and its really sad cuz she never hangs out with me anymore. and a couple weeks ago, she said she didnt want to be friends anymore because i was "clingy" and i wasnt clingy at all! but now we are kind of friends i guess, i mean, we talk and stuff. bt i just looked at her AIM profile and im not in it she has all her other friends except me. and shes not friends with any of her old ones, except me and i guess were not bestfriends anymore. and not she is really popular, and she ignores me during school, and lily is more important to her than i am. and, shes just not the same old stacy anymore. i want my old stacy back! i miss her so much! please! i need help!

Honestly, that's messed up. Don't waist your time on Stacy. She obviously wants to be popular and all that stupid crap, and my guess is, she think's she's too cool to talk to you anymore. Popularity isn't everything, I've realized that. It's better to have friends that care about you, and how you feel, and most important with being friends you should always have a good time. Don't worry about her, go out and meet other people. Just make sure you don't turn around and be rude to her after you stop talking to her, be as nice as you possibly can whenever nessacary. You know what I mean? You don't have to talk to her, but you should be nice to her, it shows people that you're a good person. I'm sorry you're friend has changed, I wish it could go back to the way it was, but you've got to realize that people will change, even if you don't like it, and friends also come and go. 16/f.ok so i just moved to a new school and the very first day i met this really nice girl. shes so sweet, and i sit with her at lunch. ive even gone over to her house and hung out with her. shes not really the type of person i usually hang out with, but shes so sweet. but over the weeknd i met these group of girls that go to my school and tehre more my type. they invited me to sit with them at lunch and they want to hang out with me more, but i dont know what to do. these girls dont liket he girl i met the first day and they dont really associate with her. who should i sit with and how do i break the news to the other one? thanks.

honestly, do those group of girls really know your friend? i mean you say she's a sweet girl, so why wouldn't they like her. im guessing they're those kind of girls who judge on looks? am i right? if so, screw them. honestly, you should surround yourself with really cool, down to earth, i dont give a shit(about how you look) kind of people. i think you should sit with the girl you met on the first day, she seems better. just tell the group of girls you don't wanna leave your other friend. and if those girls diss you for that, again..screw them. im not trying to be mean or whatever, but seriously why would you wanna be friends with those type of people? and just imagen what they might do if you don't do everything you want them to do, they might shun you or whatever. and then who are your friends? i mean they could influence you to do shit, like drugs, sex, alchohol..etc. so be careful. i hope i helped.

well ask her if its more than just a being nice to a friend kind of favor. my whole thing is, be straight up about everything you want to know. but don't be pushy about it, incorpurate it lightly into what you're saying, and don't make it seem likes thats all you care about and that's all you wanna know. and even if it is because she wants to go as friends, make sure you tell her how much you appreciate it but you're looking to go with someone who has more of a romantic interest. and then go shopping for some chicks! haha. try and meet some new girls, or something. and remember, there's other dances, if this one doesn't turn out the way you want it, its totally fine, just go out and have fun. ive found that when i go and do something with someone i like, you hope for something to happen, and if nothing happens, it ends up being a real bummer of a night..and then you're all confussed. so my suggestion is just go out with a chick you like, but also go with your friends, and focus on the fun with friends part instead of, omg im with the girl i like? yah know?

Hmm, well I can tell you what I do because I don't know your personality. But for me what I talk in front of my class, I just focus on what I'm saying instead of the people in front of me. I'm not sure how to describe it fully..but I just kinda loose myself. I don't think about what people think of me. I just get the job done and sit down and congradulate myself in my mind, haha. And even laughing and making jokes before the presentation, to loosen yourself up, can help. If the class doesn't laugh at your jokes, screw them..at least you thought it was funny right? And when you're out in public. Bring your friends you can be yourself around. My best friend and all of our really good friends hang out, and we have a blast, we don't care what people think. We care about what WE think of the fun time we're having. Just focus on the good parts, and you'll be set hunny.

Well, you could catch her in the libary or something. Or anywhere really. Just sit down next to her, and if she doesn't know who you are, then tell her you've talked to her online before. But if you don't want her to know you've talked to her online, just sit there. And like, compliment her or something, or talk about something she's looking at, who knows. Just find things to talk about. And if you have a good conversation, then you could say hi to her in the hallways, etc etc. And it'll probably go on from there, however the wind may blow it.

hey im 14/Male, well ill start from the beginning, i had 2 classes with this one girl in 8th grade right before this summer and we always talked, we laughed we had alot of fun together, well we started to really like eachother towards the end of the year and we went out and then when summer started i left for camp (we were still going out when i left) and we called eachother and everything was fine until she went to camp, then i came home after a month of being away she ended up falling for this other guy at her camp, they ended up going out for a week broke up then went out with another guy 2 weeks later, now im a freshmen school just started and shes single, we used to always talk hang out and stuff but it jsut kind of stopped, whenever i see her she looks excited to see me but never talks to me other then when she sees me, and her aol profile claims she likes someone and id like to know if it was me and homecomings coming up real soon and im not sure if i should ask her but id really like help on this i really really like this girl and she used to really really like me but idk anymore, please help...

making fun of gay people..is normal in my opinion. everyone does it. i know gay people who make fun of gay people..it's just the way the world works.
i had this problem with my best friend, since i was 4(im 16 now)..i don't like her, but i liked another girl. at first, i asked her if being bi or lesbian would ever change our relationship. she told me it wouldn't because she loves me no matter what. and i think that's what a TRUE TRUE TRUE friend is. they will love you no matter what you do. if she hates you JUST because you're bi..thats not a true friend in my opinion. and friends come and go right? i've had tons of bestfriends throughout my life. so do what i did, just come out and tell her. i mean yeah you might not be friends anymore..but think of it like this. one bad thing..could eventually turn into good things, and your expierences throughout life will make you the person you are to become. so just go for it girl!! good luck!!

Well first off, my boyfriend is going away for training for the army wich is for half a year, and the most i didnt see him for before was only for two days. Idk what to do i still want to be with him, But he doesnt trust me, he thinks im going to do stupid stuff because hes gone. & im not because it wouldnt be worth it , but how do i get him to trust me, and how do i cope with his leaving, and how do i comfort him about him not knowing whats going in my life.
second off, i hurt all the time, i mean its over little things to. Like i hate it when my boyfriend has conversations with girls or when another girl makes him smile, but i always try and tell myself that hes my boyfriend not there and this never works. i dont keep my boyfriend from his friend girls but i dont want to hurt. We have discussed this topic more than once, But i cant seem to make myself happy about the situation. Please help me on to fix this.

wow, my friend is basically going through the same thing.
i tell everyone this. if your boyfriend really cared for you and loved you, and he knew you cared for him the way it seems you do, he'd trust you. and i'm not trying to sound mean by saying that. but i think its the truth. and if he doesn't believe that and ends up dumping you, then that should be the end of it. i mean plus, you're not going to see him for half of a year. that's so much time to get over him and meet another boys. just know there is always mail, cause one of my friends went to the national guard training, and we write eachother back and forth. just look forward to letters and stuff like that. which brings me to your question about comforting him about not knowing whats going on. well i think you can tell him whats going on, hence, letters. write him a letter everyday that will show that you care enough for him. i mean its the only thing you can do right? get a notebook and have that be the notebook you write the letters in or something. that way you'll remember easier (at least that would work for me :P:P).
second part:
you really just gotta get over the whole feeling, i know its hard. but you gotta trust him. if a girls gonna be hitting on him, he's probably thinking about you the whole entire time. so i wouldn't worry about it. another thing, you should get to know some of his chick friends, then you might develop a friendship with them which won't make stuff weird. does that help?

I think you should tell her, no matter what. Not just because she needs to know, but because it'll more than likely make you feel better. And if you two are really good friends, I'm sure that she wouldn't stop talking to you. You said she cares a lot about her family and friends, so I don't see why she'd ditch you because of what you're feeling. And you just gotta take a chance, and go with how you're feeling. no problem ever sounds stupid to me. well, i'm thinking that scott and chris should have a talk about you and scott dating first of all. and i think that the two of them shouldn't get upset at eachother if you and scott start dating. friends shouldn't be broken up because of a girl. that happened to my dad and his best buddy in high school, and they stopped being friends. (might i add you must be pretty awesome if you've got two besties after you ;P). plus they obviously wouldn't have that great of a friendship if chris gets extremely upset, in my opinion anyway. he should respect that scott found someone great and that someone great feels the same about his friend. there's plenty of fish in the sea for him, and he should realize that. you could even help him find a lady?

well i got my period the first day of camp and i stil have it because its still he first week of camp. I put pads in, in the morning and since we swim first period i take it out in the bathroom and go swimming because your period temporarilly stops in water. I don't put a pad in after because i usually go to free swim at the end of the day so it would not make any sense. But my bathing suit bottoms get all bloody. Is there any way to make it easier at camp with putting the pads in.
