my best guy friend says that he wants to have sex with me before we graduate. we're sophmores. i dont mind because i care about him because he is one of my best friends but if i have sex with him will it ruin our friendship?

It depends, most of the time sex will ruin a friendship or will make the friendship harder. My good friend and I had sex once and we hardly even talk now. It might be different with you, though. Sex might not even do anything to the friendship you have with him. Just make sure you are 100% ready; don't do anything you don't want to do.

First of all, if he really IS your best friend, he wouldn't be trying to "get with you". I think he's been lying to you. If a guy really wants to be "best freinds" with a girl, he wouldn't be trying to SLEEP WITH HER... Be careful because he might just want to do you before high school because he thinks he might not get the chance to if he never sees you after high school. If he was a true best friend, he wouldn't try to do it with you... Be smart and ditch the fake. All he wanted from you was sex and now he thinks he can get it... I dont think a lot of people realize that sex is more than just a physcial thing, its completely emotional. Its awkward, and personal, and you want to do it with the right person. You cant ever take it back, and I'm pretty sure you will always remember it. I have friends who have had sex in the grade you are in now, and they REGRET it, you could get pregnant, no matter if you are best friends. You will always have the emotions and the feelings towards him. Sex creates feelings, just like kissing. It changes your feelings towards him, and it would make you feel most likely , that you like him more than a friend. And he might not like you back the same way. I know this is long, but I'm just saying, I highly suggest you dont do it with him! Wait until you find the perfect person.
