I have been cheerleading for 3 years now. this past winter, i hurt both my knees, bad. i went to the doctor recently and she said that it was a rare disease that would take about 2 more years to go away. she said if it got any worse, i would have to stop cheerleading. cheerleading is what i do-it's my life. i can't just stop. what can i do to help my knees not to hurt as much? help!

I kinda have the same situation, i tore my acl playing softball and it takes 6 months to recover which means i will miss basketball season but i came to found out that i really dont like basketball ne more but in ur case jus try to make ur knees stronger but thats what i am doing because along with my torn acl i have a disease too so jus try to take it easy and not push ur self as hard because wouldnt u perfer siting out 2 years over never being able to do cheerleading again?

ok i have a nefew who is 3 and i watch him when he is sick and we usally jus watch some of his favorite movies or we watch blues cluues to c if there r ne cool ideas on there. most kids like to read books or jus get some toys all kids loved to have someone to play with and also put in a nap time you both need a break by the end of the day.
