If your babysitting at his house he will probably have a lot of toys and such to play with. You can watch a movie, do a puzzle, play outside (go for a walk or play with a ball). Also things like reading a book to him or coloring are good!

but any toys they have that they like, or any movies

make him a fun or cool lookin breakfast, promise him that if he's good, then next tyme he'll get a treat, and next tyme, give him a lil treat!!

Well first you can make him a fun breakfast. kids are drawn to anything that looks fun. after that you can sit and read him his favorite book. you can also make games for him. preferably the velcro kind they just love it. see what he likes (toys,etc..) just play and goof with him.

for a 4 yr old boy, a TV can work miracles! lol. also, u could walk him to a nearby park. let him play with his toys and u play with him, they would love that...coloring books and crayons, juss dont let him eat the crayons...lol. well, my brain has run out of ideas. and i have a 3 yr old nephew...gosh, he keeps me busy. lol

Ask his parents what he likes to do. But, you can put his favorite movie in and make some popcorn and some candy and make it like a movie theater. Play games with him, draw, color, etc. Ask him what he may like to do also.

have fun with him. play with his toys with him, watch some tv, make him laugh and stuff. bring a game you think he might like but be careful. if he has a swing set go on it with him just watch him carefully and listen to his parents directions. make him a snack if u can take him for a walk etc. im sure you'll do fine. one idea i did with a boy he prob is too young but i got paper and we made comic books it was kind of cool he liked it. or u can just color or something. read him a book...theres a lot of things.

What i usually do while babysitting a kid older then 3 is before the day that you babysit them comes, ask them what they want to do. Some kids like to be alone, some like to watch movies, some like to go outside on a walk to the park and so on. If you are babysitting him too soon to ask him, then take him on a walk, and just get out a coloring book, and all.
