Pageants

16/f/ca. I've been in one beauty pageant in my whole life, and that was two years ago. Lately I've been thinking about doing more pageants and getting me involved. I really want to go into performing (especially commercial acting/modeling). Do you think this is a good way to gain experience in place of doing school plays/musicals (I hate our drama teacher/director with a passion...)? It was also a lot of fun the first time I did it. I'm not TOTALLY into winning...just as long as I have a good time with all the other girls, I'll be happy.
I guess my question is, do you think this is a good way to gain experience into the performing/acting field, or would it just be a waste of time?

hiya,
im 14 and ive been going out with my boyfriend for 3 weeks now. it'll be exactly a month on valentines day. he's the sweetest guy i could ever know, and i know he'd never do anything to hurt me. he's so sweet in fact that he texted me last night to ask if it would be ok for him ti kiss me on valentines day. we're going ot watch the sunset in the park overlooking the city, it should be really pretty.
in theory, it should be the perfect evening, but im terrified. ive never kissed a guy before, so im really scared about my first kiss. and i like him so much, i really dont want to mess this up. everyones told me it'll be fine if i relax and enjoy it, but im scared that i wont enjoy it! i mean, what if we kiss and its horribl...

dieting and gaining weight...

I've heard that if you go on a diet that restricts food intake or doesn't have the right nutrition, that when you go back to normal eating, you will gain back all the weight PLUS more. The gaining back all the weight makes sense, but what is it that makes you gain more? Just curious.

me and my boyfriend have been going out for 8 months We havent frenched. Is that pathectic? Actually know one needs to tell me so cuz i know. But how the heck do i get him to kiss me he always talks about doing it like well actually it hasnt been mentioned sense this past summer.

uhh... well several day's ago i met a guy, he asked me for my phone number, and we've been texting ever since, i'm really confussed, he seems as if he likes me, and i'm starting to like him too... but i don't want to rush thing's but i want to know if he see's me as just a friend and thats all, or if he wants to actually maybe turn it in to something more... i don't want to straight up ask him because he told me he talks to alot of girl's, so i'm thinking maybe i'm just another friend, but i don't want to be, can anyone give me any advice on something to say/ask him other than asking him straight out??? thanxx.. msbrightsiide

a couple weeks ago my parents went out of town and me and my sister had the house to ourselve. so we invited some people over. this guy came over and we endin up having sex but he has a gf. i think im startin to like him. what do i do? and do you think his gf should know?

Is it wrong to cry if your dog died and you've known her since you were a toddler? My friends would think it's silly, and when you think about it, it kind of is. Does anybody else think it's silly?

Trillian skins

I've recently switched from msn messenger to trillian and I do prefere this. I have read through the manual on trillian's website, but found no help there. I have downloaded a nice skin with no problems, it's only installing it that bugs me.
There doesn't seem to be some handy installing file in the download that just needs to be clicked. The name of the skin in question is Logika, in case that should matter.

Sunblock

16/f/California. When I'm at the beach, or when I'm out in the sun for long periods of time, I never wear sunblock (if anything, I use like, a tanning lotion or something)...and I tan easily (I have mostly Dominican in me, and we're able to tan easily), I rarely burn. But lately the whole "skin cancer" thing is freaking me out. I like being tan, and the fact that I tan easily. If I wore sunblock, can I still get a tan? I heard that you can, it just blocks the bad sun rays...is this true? Or does sunblock completely block the sun??

Tanning salon

16/f. I've been really curious about tanning salons. I really want to go to one, but my mom is kind of hesitant to let me do such a thing. Aside from it looking "fake", is it as dangerous as a tan from the sun, or is it less harmless? Also, my arms are tan (I have a "farmers tan") from wearing short sleeves, but I can't wear tank tops, show my stomach or even wear low cut tops (I don't want to wear TOO low cut tops, but right now, everything under my neck line is white...) and I want to get rid of that, so how would I even it out in a tanning bed?

ok its a long one. i just moved to this state 2 months ago and everyone is contry as hell i mean gold teeth, 10,000$ rims on a 1976 impala contry i had trouble meeting pepoel that i could relate to. Okay, I'm 16 and I've been a size 13 in jeans, ever since last year (and awhile before that...). And everytime I put them on they're fine, but then like an hour later, they're really big on me--in the butt and the thigh area, and sometimes the waist. So recently I've switched to an 11 (I've lost 3-5 lbs, but is that enough to drop a pant size?)...they were fine at first, but lately I've been having the same problem--they get baggy...but the waist is fine. I don't like how my pants get all baggy on me, whats going on??

HELP! Please! I have a problem...see, I don't get out of the house much. Well let's just say AT ALL! Ever! I have dropped out of school awhile ago, and no job but my mother supports me. I have no friends at all. I try to communicate with them but nobody ever seems to want to hang out with me. And I don't think it's because I've dropped out...I did it a LONG time ago and this is just starting to happen. I never get asked out on a date, and my friends never talk to me. I've basically just become a bum and all I do all day is sit around home on the computer watching tv. I hate it. I know it wont be like this for the rest of my life but can somebody please tell me if this is semi-normal?! I want to know that I'm not a freak of nature.

ok so this girl we will call her k. k has this friend lets call her H and H's bf lets call him J. k thinks J is useing H to get in H's pants and beacause she has a nice butt. but H thinks K is jeolus of her and J. J was k's first but H says he wasnt when he was, so k still has feelings for J but J dont like K any more so K is heart broken and as if not haveing J was enough her best friend H was dateing J and rubbing J in K's face on the bus by higging and kissing J in front of her so K is crying and H is happy. so will somone plz give K advice?
