hiya,
im 14 and ive been going out with my boyfriend for 3 weeks now. it'll be exactly a month on valentines day. he's the sweetest guy i could ever know, and i know he'd never do anything to hurt me. he's so sweet in fact that he texted me last night to ask if it would be ok for him ti kiss me on valentines day. we're going ot watch the sunset in the park overlooking the city, it should be really pretty.
in theory, it should be the perfect evening, but im terrified. ive never kissed a guy before, so im really scared about my first kiss. and i like him so much, i really dont want to mess this up. everyones told me it'll be fine if i relax and enjoy it, but im scared that i wont enjoy it! i mean, what if we kiss and its horrible? what do i do then? and what if i screw it up completely?
please help!

I think your friends are right and you should just relax. If you do i think it will come naturally. If its really right you'll feel it and just go with the flow of things. If the night is perfect like you described it to be, the kiss will be too.

Well First that sounds SO romantic! im so happy for you! Ok Second, Your afraid you wont like it, But accutally If you truely do love him then you will feel like your on a cloud...If your talking in terms that what if he sucks at kissing or what if i suck at kissing...well if he sucks at kissing it shouldnt be hard to help him out with it...and plus that shouldnt really matter all that much if you truely love/like him...if you suck at kissing then practice...I've heard of people who have used their hand, mirror, pillow, anything really...just practice.. there is really no right way to kiss its just whatever comes naturally...with tongue..thats different..If you screw up completely, then 1.) your boyfriend shouldnt be rude or hurtful...its your first time...2.) laugh at yourself dont show sadness or madness because you screwed up..laugh it off...and your friends are right...when you get together and he goes to kiss you just relax yourself...enjoy it...close your eyes though..im sure nobody wants someones eyes staring at them while they are kissing...lol...maybe do meditation or yoga before you go out together..help relax you...If you kiss and its horrible then just keep going on through the date...its ok that you dont like it maybe your just a little uncomfortable since its your frist time and you feel a little unsure....but it should be special...it sounds like you will have a wonderful night...just dont sweat it..you'll be fine...i hope you have a wonderful night...have fun! ; )

But as for the kissing thing, don't worry! It sounds like this guy cares a lot about you, so it shouldn't matter to him whether you can kiss or not.
Kissing doesn't come natural to everyone, especially me. Don't be afraid you won't enjoy it because if you really like him and have feelings for him, then you'll definitely enjoy it! Oh, and don't worry about the kiss being horrible. Everyone who told you to relax is right.
Just to be sure, follow this:
1. Relax and breathe. Calm yourself down a bit.
2. When he leans over to kiss you, close your eyes and let him guide you.
3. Don't try to take over and shove your tongue in his mouth.
4. Just slowly go from pecking to more...contact kissing:)
Follow this and you won't screw it up. Just double-check for bad breath and all that. Once again, if you relax and go with the flow, you won't mess things up.

Hey, don't worry, kissing comes naturally and you won't screw up, once you get used to it. Try not to think kissing him because then you are just going to ruin things up. If you kiss and it's horrible, just stop or just keep on kissing him because it will get better. Hope I helped :)

Aww.Thats really sweet! Well, about this first kiss thing don't be so nervous hun! It will all work out great, it won't screw anything up. especially if its going to be that romantic. Kissing is not really anything you can screw up. You will enjoy it, It will be very memorable, its your first kiss you'll remember it and If its with someone you truly care about then, you will enjoy it.
