I need help with chess

I have only played about ten times in my life. It's really confusing. I have heard of open, middle, and end moves. Do they really play a key role? I am so bad I lose or draw on level 1 on my computer. I have won once. I am not the planning ahead type thinker. How do you build fortresses based on possible moves down the line? I am always many steps behind. Please help.

My ex's mom was primarily responsible for our split up 20 yrs ago, but now being married and settled in life, i still have sleepless and tearful nights, thinking of the past. I sometimes feel i should call ex's mom and ask for a sorry, for i never listened to her repeated dissprovals, until the last threat of a suicide. is it ok to cal, her..i sometimes feel, the relationship should close, but i am also if might start a chapter by givind details of my whereabouts. sometimes i feel, may be i should let the blood boil as my life had turned upside down after the unexpected heart break with an abortion.

I've been with my wife for 12 years now... 6 of which have been living with her parents helping to take care of her father ( who passed away a few years ago ) and now helping her mother and paying bills. I gave up my life in my home state to be with my wife. I haven't seen my father since my wedding 6 years ago.. I have not seen my mother since MOVING HERE. ( quite frankly we are poor ) Ever since I got here I've been an outsider despite my efforts to be nice and do what needs to be done. I have worked hard to fit into their culture and family to no avail. Finally I gave up and just resided myself to trying to stay out of the way and not bother anyone. Unitarian Jewellery

I was raised catholic as a child but as I grew into an adult I became Unitarian. ( one who believes all )
I would like to wear religious jewelry but my question would it be wrong to wear all jewelry? Example; If I wore a jewish necklace and a bracelet with a cross etc. Is that misleading? I need opinions. I would like something to express myself... I understand they make UU jewelry but I wanted to know if it would make such a difference that way as well.

Advice about moving away to college and getting a roommate

Well i like to go to any state to a great biology-vet school the problem is that i would have to rent an apartment and will have to share it with a roommate, it get scary since i will be pretty far from home and i don't even know how to cook *yeah amazing but i hate cooking i love doing other non-kitchen stuff*
I need advice from people who had the experience of moving to other place and having a roommate, and being far without knowing anybody, or to cook, or even survive in emergencies.. sorry for the dramatic expressions. jeje i am kinda worry

Personal Injury Chiropractor

Hello! I just moved to a new town and I was looking for a new chiropractor but the only one listed in the phone book says they are a "Personal Injury Chiropractor" so... umm, what does that mean, exactly? Is it like a personal injury lawyer? Scammers? The Dr. version of an ambulance chaser? Any ideas?

Well my relationship has lasted like 8months, but during the 5th month we had many fights and break-ups. I had loved that boy and he says the same but i just dont feel it. We insulted ourselves in the end but got together as friends with benefits. He is always calling me names, stupid-dumb-bitch-etc and he says he is joking, also he is always calling me loser and he says out loud the things i hate most. Wooden Knife Block

I broke my parents knife set! The knives are all fine but the block is badly damaged! Where can I buy a wooden knife block online? ok i'm 17 and i always told my parents i didn't want to date and they always told me to tell them when i wanted to start to date, so you know they can meet him an all. the problem is that i want to tell my mom because my parents are divorced and i trust my mom more but when i tried to tell my mom that this guy liked me and that i liked him too her reaction was happy only cause i told her i didn't want to date. so i had to lie because i was afraid pulse my mom has been feeling stressed with work and all the issues we have that i feel i shouldn't say anything but i feel bad for the guy i like hes very nice and is willing to meet my mom.its not his fault i'm too afraid to say anything! someone give me advice i dont know what to do....thanks

Male Infertility Problems

My husband and I are having trouble getting pregnant and I am pretty sure the problem isn't with me, but I don't know a thing about male infertility problems at all and I am afraid to bring it up because I don't want to hurt his feelings!
What do I do? We want babies but we just can't seem to get pregnant!

My sister is 3 years younger than me and she hits me and pinches me and even bites me, I have scars from her and I have considered self harm as relief from the stress she gives me. She tells my Cousin (who is 5) to harm me and he does, I feel like I can't escape. I always end up with the blame and my parents don't notice or say they don't want to hear it, if she is hurting me and I hit her to defend myself she runs crying to my parents and I always get the blame, I want it to end but I feel like I can't escape, please help!

Hi everyone!
I'm with this man now, we were on and off for about a year, but for the past month and a half we decided we cared for each other too much and really got serious. And I can honestly say I love him, which I've never felt before, he's my second serious bf but the first who ever took me out and introduced me to his friends. To me he's perfect! (though 5 years older than me, which occasionally causes trouble but we usually forget about it)

My gtandmother has been having a lot of health problems lately and she's just lifeless?
MY great grandma has broken her hip 2-3 times. She fractured her neck and its well now, she has a sore on her foot that won't go away, the doctor said just leave a sock on it and let it get will but it isn't. She can't walk because her foot. She doesn't talk to anyone and she barely eats. I think she feels lonely or depressed about her health problems? Idk, we try to talk to her and she doesn't talk, sometimes we try to get her to eat and she doesn;t eat. She just lays down, not saying anything & sleeping or slouched staring into space.
