birthday help

15/f Okay. So my little sister is turning 13 on early January--and we're not sure of how to celebrate her birthday yet. And she really wants it to be special. A party would be good, but she dosen't want it in McDonald's or something, that would be too kiddy. Malling could be an option too, but sometimes her friends aren't allowed to go out. And a masquerade would be WAY too expensive. So she dosen't want something childish, but something fun and cool for her birthday. Do you guys have any suggestions for her 13th birthday celebration? If you do, please share. Thanks.

Help with 12 yr old nephew

I'm 26 yr old male and my brother passed away a few years ago, leaving his son who is now 12. I'm am still very close to my nephew. I talk to him on the phone alot, email with him, etc. His mom is a terrible mom, who happens to have 2 other kids from 2 other men and wastes the social security money from my brother on cigarettes, alcohol, and frivilous items. She pays no attention to the boy and he stays with his grandma most nights because she doesnt wake him up in time for him to go go school. I'm afraid my nephew might soon turn to drugs, alcohol, etc. I've also noticed quite a lack of self esteem. I know that he has had 'girlfriends' but have yet to see them or meet them. His friends seem to be good, but I believe Im too old to ...

Friends..fighting AGAIN

Okay, there's Tim and Harry. Tim is really cold hearted, doesn't care about others that much, blah blah. In a cute way. Harry is overly sensative and over dramaatic most of the time. Well, they are both gay and they've been friends for a while and they're perfect for each other (in a friend way mind you)

xmas parties

ok i've been working at my job for 2 months.
all the girls (four of them) and my boss are extremely nice.
we are going to go out to dinner around christmas time, and we're calling it a xmas party.
so am i supposed to get them something? i dont know them that well because i'm new and we see each other around two times a month.
so if i am supposed to get them something, what would be appropriate?
note: i dont know if theyre giving gifts
any ideas would be appreciated. oh ya dont say gift cards

Sometimes i dont understand myslef. i catch myslef falling in love with my friend "crush". she would totaly hate me if i were to like him. my friends say he likes me too and that made me so happy!! but when she found out she was fumed!!

Okay! So...There is ALOT here...Well, I was dating this Guy named Logan for over a year, and we kept fighting because this other guy, William, put the moves on me, and Logan thinks i've done things with William, infact he truely believes it, like without a doubt. Alot of people say i give great advice, but i cant help myself on this one. a while ago i went to the emergency room for a broken ankle, and now my mom has to pay $1000 for that. There are too many bills and our crappy insurence just went up. so with all this preasure, my mom is realy stressed out and depressed, wich makes me realy stressed and depressed. plus i have alot to worry about at school, i get good grades so i have alot of responsibilitys. my parents are really uptight, and a little closed minded when it comes to my future. They still have this picture perfect mental image of me graduating with honors, and getting a bussiness degree, and starting a normal life. Problem is, I dont want that. I have bigger plans, and a passion for music so great its almost unreal. All i want to do with my life is something meaningful, and inspiring to others like me. Sure it may sound like a childish dream, i want to be a rockstar kind of thing, but hey who ever said we cant dream big right?

One of my guy/friends asked me out today, and my friend put me under a lot of presure of what tosay, so I said I'd think about it. He smiled and went on about his buisness. Then like, 10 seconds after the last bell rang one of my friends told him I'd said yes, but I hadn't.

iPod stuff!

I'm having a lot of trouble with my vide ipod! I've had it for about a year and since then I haven't had any huge issues with it, until now.
It's not a huge problem. It's more of an inconvenience than anything. But first of all, a lot of the podcasts that I've unsubscribed from and deleted off of my itunes list are still on my ipod and I can't figure out how to get them off. It's never a problem with my music (music I deleted off of my itunes playlist never appears on my ipod even after I've deleted it). How can I get it off my ipod?
And the second problem is, the artwork on a lot of my music is showing up on my ipod as weird pictures (like static on a tv or something) or artwork that doesn't belong to the cd a...
