i recently posted a question about this guy i like and how we had a thing for a few months and all of a sudden he ignores me for 4 weeks.. well someone here on advicenators gave me some helpful advice. my mind has been very occupied with him and i've been constantly trying to find ways to talk to him. but i think the advicenators person was right.... i need to move on because he's not worth it. its not worth it because its obvious he doesn't like me as much as i like him. and any relationship with a guy like that, isnt worth it. i want a guy who adores me and is obsessed with me and loves me and can't stop thinking about me.. and its pretty obvious this guy isnt what i'm looking for... but then again, why am i thinking a...

2009 honda civic on one dot left of gas

okay, so it snowed where i live today, and yesterday while driving i had 3 dots of gas left. i had no money so i assumed that i can just go the next day (tonight) with some money. well, as i was defrosting my car becuase there was a coat of ice, my gas thingy went down to 1 dot. (its electronic, the speed, temp and gas) and theres a gas station about 3 miles away from my house... and i know this is stupid but i drive behind my parents back (i have a jr. license and they dont like my driving for school, but im in midterm week and i have a final at 9:40 in the morning.. theres no way im taking the bus at 7:00 an waiting around almost 3 hours to take a test.. haah) so im wondering, for those who have a 2009 honda civic... does your car have a ...

Violin Vibrato.

There are 3 types of vibrato, for violin or viola. They are arm, wrist, and finger vibrato. I was wonder what people's opinions were on which type of vibrato is better? I currently use arm vibrato, but I've recently been trying wrist vibrato. I think wrist vibrato sounds really pretty, since several people in my orchestra use it. (They are the more advanced players I guess you could say...) So I asked my assistant teacher if he could help me with wrist vibrato..... but he said why don't I just use arm? I thought he would like me using wrist vibrato o.o, but I'm not so sure. My teacher did also tell me that I need to relax and try not to tense up... Maybe that's why I don't quite think my arm vibrato sounds pretty? So what do you guys think?...

ugh parents... i know they aren't bad and that i should be thankful to have them. but sometimes they are soooo annoying!!!!!
my parents are difficult and stubborn. if i tell them something, they'll just say their opinion
example- i tell my mom i'm having boy issues. i have a boyfriend but like another guy at the same time. she will just tell me her opinion. she'll say "what?? oh no dont be like those girls. dont be a boy hopper who goes from guy to guy. you need to focus on school" gahhhh and all i was asking for is for her to make me feel better and figure out what to do. but instead, she just made me feel bad about myself and made everything worse and mad at her.

gahhhh i'm about to rip this guys head off because he's soooo confusing!!!!!!
so me and this guy had a thing for a while (a few months) while i was dating my boyfriend. ( i know i know.. that was a mistake and its wrong, dont need the lecture) and all of a sudden he stops talking to me... everytime i try to text, he wont answer. he wont pick up my calls. sometimes he even picks up and then hangs up right away. i tried inboxing him on facebook but he wont respond. i checked his wall and he's on sometimes and he talks to his friends. one time i even saw him post this on a girls wall "hey we haven't talked for a while, you should text me sometime" WTH!!! then today i just checked his page and it won...

fed up with terrible roommate

So I started college in the fall and long story short, I've grown to hate my roommate! I can't stand her! I realize I cannot change her behavior, only my own, but things are starting to get out of hand.
We have 3 garbage cans and 1 recycling bin. I use one garbage can, the rest our hers and she still can't manage to take out the trash in a timely manner.
We have a leaky faucet which creates mold in our sink. Guess who cleans it... [me, the one with the allergies]
She never everrrrr leaves the room except for class and 1 or 2 meals a day. she isn't involved at all meaning if I want some space to myself, I can't be in my room.
Her mom drives over an hour to do her laundry and everything else for her... we'...

Pregnancy or Something Else?

I am a 19 year old. I know this is a fairly common question. But I am getting a bit concerned for my health. A few weeks ago my fiance and I had sex, during ovulation. Couple weeks passed, and I was due for my period. My period never came after a few days, so I tested one evening and it was a negative. Felt a little iffy, but relieved for the most part. Couple days afterwards I got a pinkish discharge. The next day I was discharging blood like a regular period. Was a little lighter than usual but I shrugged it off. Then a couple days ago, the discharge completely stopped. Today, still nothing. So my bleeding only lasted for a day. Driving (not sure is this in the right catagory)

Hi!
I was wondering what currently the driving age was for people. I have heard so many different theories. I live in MA. I heard that at 16 you could drive, and at 15 1/2 you could got to drivers ed and earn a permit, but then just recently I heard that you couldn't even enter drivers ed until you were 15 nine and nine months. So, if you actually understand what I'm trying to explain, would you please tell me what the current policy for the age someone is eligible to enter into drivers ed, earn their permit, and are able to drive by themselves?

Period...pain

I notice before i get my period and even during it i get pain down below it's pretty painful and i'm not sure what's causing it iv'e already visited my gynecologist..
Does this happen to anyone elese?

how do you keep from blacking out?

Lately it seems liek I just pass out randomly! I was with my friends and I blacked out at the mall. I was just sitting in a chair and then I was flopped on the table. I don't know if I should go to the doctor or not. Does this happen to anyone else or is there something really wrong with me?
If I don't need a doctor then how do you keep from blacking out randomly?

getting the baby bug

I'm an 18 year old successful student at a top college...and I've found myself with the crazy urge to have a baby. This started in October. My boyfriend of 8 months and I ran out of condoms and had unprotected sex. It was the first time we had ever done it without one and I was terrified. A week later we broke up due to stress from living in different states. A couple weeks later I found out I was pregnant and I was scared to death, then a couple days later I had a miscarriage. Two months later we got back together and he now lives half an hour from my school. He knows I miscarried but we don't talk about it.
Since we've gotten back together we've had sex without a condom..a lot. Every so often it makes me nervous that I'll get pregn...

I've been with my boyfriend for around two years.
The first part of our relationship was pretty bad because I had a drug problem. Around a year ago, I ODed on some prescription meds.
At the time, I was hanging out with a guy I had just met. He knew I was way out of it and took advantage of it, starting to flirt and hold my hand. I then tried to text my boyfriend saying "it's over", but accidentally sent it to the wrong number. I made out with the guy and he kind of forced me into doing more.

I've been looking for a job for about 3 months now and i've had no luck so far. I have made a resume and handed it out to numerous shops around my area. All my friends have jobs in fast food but i don't really feel comfortable handling other peoples food.
What are some other things i can do to help me in my job hunt or to put on my resume?
