Moving half-way through school.... COOKIE IDEAS & other advice

Im moving halfway through school (next week) and I've been living here since I was 6 (Im 16) and I want to show people I love them by baking cookays! Or other little simple snacks like that. Not cupcakes though, I have no idea how to make those, lmao. Maybe brownies though? anything like that.

Does marriage ruin relationships?

50% of marriages end in divorce.
What do you believe that the reason for this is? I mean, were the people not meant for each other in the first place? Did it just take living together for a while for them to realize that?
OR was what brought down the marriage, well, getting married? Are some couples super happy as boyfriend/girlfriend but the stereotypical expectations of a married couple get in the way? (i.e. the wife has to cook, care for kids, etc.; husband has to work)
i hope i'm making sense.
i just want some opinions on this :)

So, I recently got out of a shitty relationship with a guy (James) I'd been with for over four years. My heart hadn't really been with him for over a year, but we said our final goodbyes only last weekend.

Me and my boyfriend haven't been going out for long but I realllly like him.I don't smoke anything (no cigs,no weed,etc) and he knows that and respects it. He does smoke weed though and he asked me if it bothered me (before we started going out) and i said it didn't bother me ,because it used to not bother me.Now it seems as though he took advantage of that and smokes ALL the time,probably everyday.I don't like how he acts when he's high,he's just not the same.He acts dumb and is just not normal (obviously because thats what smoking does to you...)He used to lie to me about when he did it because it bothered me but he stopped lying about it and does it all the time.I told him he doesn't have to quit but I'd wish he would just do it less.H...

Going away party NIGHTMARE

So on Friday night I sent out invitations for my going away party this night at Applebees. On facebook, cause its easier to contact people that way. And now its Sunday, and out of the 28 people I invited, 4 have accepted, 9 have said "maybe", 2 have declined (I didn't like them too much anyways), and the remaining 13 people haven't replied yet! So basically.. 4 people are certain. I almost feel like crying.

Dealing with grief

A close relative ended her life a few months ago after struggling with chronic pain and depression.
Losing her was one of the hardest things I've ever had to deal with in my sixteen years of life.
I find myself a little lost at times, and feel as though there's no one I can really talk to about it.
Every now and then, I'll think that I'm okay, that everything's fine, but it's not. I go back to four months ago, that feeling of hopelessness and I just break down again and cry. I cry for my cousin, and I cry for the rest of her family that she left behind.

Last night I came downstairs really late and saw my dad on the computer. I was walking through the house to go to the kitchen for a drink and saw that he was on some sort of video-chat with another woman. She had her top off though and my dad was typing to her.
Today I sort-of tried to see if my dad would tell me anything about what was going on last night. I said to him, "You were up pretty late last night. Was everything OK?" Difference between lap band and gastric bypass

My mom is married to this really, really fat guy and he is going to be having the lap-band done. He tried to lose the weight with diet and exercise but he has gained the weight back and he is entirely too large so his health is at risk. He's already on heart medication and high blood pressure medication. He went into the hospital before because he got to be so big his lungs started to fill with fluid! I understand their desire to get this type of surgery done so that he can actually live.
I'm curious about the lap-band though. What is the difference between the lap band and gastric bypass? When my mom said he would be having the "lap band surgery" I said, "Don't you mean gastric bypass surgery?" and ...

My friends and I were talking the other day and we got curious about something. If you die, what happens to your internet stuff? I mean, does MySpace go in and delete your MySpace so that somebody else can use that URL name or does it just sit there? In addition, we were curious about Facebook, MyYearBook, Friendster, Hi5, and BeBo. We figured the same thing would happen to them all but in case it's different then I listed the ones we were interested in.

I am going out with this guy that is really sweet but I don't know much about him. He asked me for my number last weekend and we've gone out TWICE now and I don't really know a lot about the guy. My mom said we should not go to movies yet but, rather, out to eat so that we can talk more. I thought that sounded fine but I have no idea what I should ask him without sounding stupid!
What are good questions to ask my boyfriend and how do I ask them? Should I just say, "I have some things to ask you..." and go through them one by one? I don't want to look like idiot but I want to get to know him better! :)
