Why do men flirt with me, but never ask me out?

It happens to me so often, it's annoying. There'll be this spark, a certain energy, a banter going on. Smirks, winks, the works. For like, months. And... nothing! They never take that extra step!
Is it me? Is it them? It's bothering the HECK out of me. There's only so much stomping your heart can take, ya know? Sometimes I'll genuinely come to like them a lot, and they never do anything. A LOT of guys will flirt with me, but don't do anything. Is this something guys do often? Thanks<3

So I like a guy in my class (who is 17 by the way). I don't really have friends at school, but I feel like we can talk about anything. We have so much in common. I feel that he likes me too- he's a genuinely sweet guy, he cares about what I think, he always makes eye contact, he walks me to lunch...but I feel like we're a little bit stuck. It's kind of obvious that we like each other, but both of us are really shy and we haven't admitted it yet. We're good friends but I'm a little worried that maybe that's all it would be...I wouldn't want to make things awkward between us. I really do like him...what should I do?

i need advice! im currently 5 months pregnant and i havnt felt like myself since i got pregnant. im always moody always mad or sad. i take my anger out on my baby daddy i love him but he thinks i dont.. how do i get him to understand that its not really how i am? he feels like leaving me sometimes and i understand him but i dont want to lose him and i try really hard not to be so mean when im upset what can i do to change?? help please

i'm 22 and i usually date guys around my age. anyways, it always seems like even when i date the "nice" guys they still end up being just as crappy as the "jerks". but my real question is why is it that every time a guy wants to break up with a girl he treats her as crappy as possible and gives her little to no attention so that she feels obligated to break up with him and then he's free to do whatever he wants with whomever he chooses? it seems to be a re-occurring theme with EVERY guy i date. then when i do break up with them they are like okay that's fine like it's really no big deal while i'm over here crying. it's super frustrating.

I am now stuck in a situation that's really hurting me , I have never done this or tought of sharing my problems on such an advise website but I can't hold back . I have recently moved in with my pregnant girlfriends she's now 5 months and a half but recently I've felt like she dosnt like me here are some examples
1. She's always annoyed by the things I do
2. She's always fighting with me basically fighting over everything
3. She was in a relationship before me and we'll she always put up with his shit and he would treat her horrible I treat her like a queen and get treated like trash help?

There's this guy who was my instructor and everytime he explains stuffs, he looks at me a lot and usually i'm the first person he picks out.
On the last day of my course, after I handed in the attendance list, i thought he called me but thinking it wasn't for me, I walked out and then I heard him again so I went back in and I guess he was going to get me because the attendance was in his hands and he came back in the other door. You recently answered one of my questions about Jane. very much appreciation for that. Still struggling tho with what to do.. and since you seemed to take an interested, i thought I would give you more info and hopefully you can reciprocate with more advice.
Jane btw is a freshman in college..but will be a sophmore in the fall. just a reminder I am 16, going into my junior year of high school.

I don't know what to do anymore... I have been with the same person for over a year. They have a 3 year old little boy that I love and we are happy a good amount of the time. However there are a few issues.
They don't have a babysitter so I always get stuck babysitting. It has turned into an expectation and they rarely ask until they are leaving. We talk about this all the time but they never follow through even though all I ask is that they get my okay to babysit before setting and making plans. They also are usually 30-60 minutes past the time they said they would be back.

Hello, so I am just curious if anyone has found any strategies that work a little better when trying to break up with someone.
I have tried for a year and a half to make my current relationship work mostly because I am too nice and partially because my boyfriend has serious issues with depression and I wanted to help him. But he hasnt been able to get better in fact only worse so it is not time to end it.

He is 15 and I'm 16. He's a solid Jehovah Witness and very closely follows doctrine. I really fell in love with him. I would always be thinking about him and hanging out with him and texting, calling, video chat. We live fairly close. I got the courage to tell him I was bi and loved him at the same time, he was shocked and needed some space. I saw some hope in his voice though. I'm 80% sure he's straight, although religion might cause him to hide it if he is. I want to have a strong relationship forever and can't live without him, he means the world to me. Ok so i am a 16 year old girl and i think that I’m either bisexual or gay. Because i am not emotionally attracted to men, i feel like i can't trust them and i don't know why, I’ve never been hurt by them. I’ll look at a guy, say he’s hot but that’s it I feel like I can’t ever emotionally connect with them. As with women I’m both emotionally and physically attracted to them.
