why would my ex say this to me

my ex boyfriend broke up with me, we remained in contact because I wanted to try and work things out and he said he'd think about it. I didn't want to remain friends with him and I made that clear. a month later, after no effort on his part, I started texting a guy I met in a bar. my ex SAW me with the guy but all we were doing was talking.
im not dating this guy, and my ex knows that, but he said to me "well y'all might get together soon, or you might start dating another guy I don't know but then maybe we'd get back together if you broke up" I said what do you mean he said "im jus saying you never know" why would you say that to someone you broke up with?

I am 17. My 15-year-old sister and I know each other's thoughts and feelings almost as well as our own. Unfortunately, we also know when the other's funny bone is "tickly" -- and it starts a giggling fit. When we start, we can't stop.
We get these fits at the most inappropriate times. We are at our wit's end. Can you help?

Absentee Father

I have a father who's always mean to me. He finds reasons to yell at me -- for example, the trash isn't taken out or the dishes aren't washed. He isn't involved in my educational life at all. When my teachers request a conference with my parents, he almost never shows up. When I graduated from elementary school and middle school, he didn't come to either of the ceremonies.
I'll talk to my dad about these things sometimes, and he says he's sorry and the next day he'll buy me something to try and make it up to me. He can be really nice when he wants to be, but most of the time he's a mean person. He is always putting me down, calling me an idiot and saying I'm worthless and a good-for-nothing son. I really want to become friend...

When women are being married, they usually start showing off their engagement/wedding ring(s). I have very selective taste, and I find many of them to be gaudy or downright ugly. What am I supposed to say when these women are expecting me to tell them, "How lovely"?

Am I right to want him out?

My husband gave a friend of his -- I'll call him "Fred" -- a place to stay and nursed him back to health after Fred was critically injured while driving an ATV. Fred was drunk at the time.
That was six years ago, and Fred is still here. While he has helped my husband with a few chores, he does not work. My husband provides him with a travel trailer, utilities, food and beer money. Fred is 47 years old and perfectly capable of working. I feel he is being disrespectful, and I want to set some ground rules -- getting a job and staying out of our house when we are not home, for starters.
My husband doesn't seem able to have a discussion with Fred. Am I selfish and un-Christian? This is straining my marriage. Please help.

Insensitive Gift: What do I do?

At a recent anniversary celebration for my parents, a well-meaning but thoughtless in-law sent them a gift from my deceased sister, with a card signed with her name. She died of cancer two years ago.
Her loss has been difficult and heartbreaking for all of us, especially my parents. I am furious at this guest for giving such a "gift." My parents were visibly shocked, but thanked the person anyway.
I knew the in-law was planning something like this, and I asked that it not be done at the party. I wish I had just said, "No! Don't do it!" I'm not sure whether I am madder at the gift giver or myself. I feel like the work we have done to recover from the loss has been set back. I could use some good advice.

Meeting my boyfriend's not-so-charming friend for the first time.

Basically, my boyfriend has a friend who he's said nothing good about outside of their friendship. He's constantly told me this guy objectifies women, is arrogant, etcetc. I've also heard this from mutual friends.
Anyway, yesterday he asks me if I'd be willing to meet this guy because he wants to meet me and have dinner apparently. I told him I don't feel 100% comfortable with the situation and explained why, and he told me that although his friend objectifies the women he's dating, he wouldn't do it to me, and that he considers him a "good friend" all aside and asked me politely again if I'd just meet him and give him a chance.

Can't Seem to Get "The Big O" HELP!

My boyfriend and I have been dating for about 3 months and the sex life is GREAT. Except one thing :-( I can't seem to get an orgasm!

My head is toatally messed up and I am really considering suicicide. Being paranoid and not being able to engage in conversations with people has been the main to reasons for it. I went and seen a counsilor about a year ago for help and I had to just get up and walk out of the room because she laughed at me which really made me feel worse. I really don't want to be here and want to end this live, I hate living in fear and being so stupid, the only reson that I'm still here is because of my brothers and sisters and mother and father, I know it would kill them, but one day I don't think that will stop me and I will just be selfish and End this live that I'm meant to be living. My "friend Z" was at my house yesterday and we watched a few movies- well he put his arm around me and was kinda rubbing my arm- so sweet. Lol but i wasnt sure where to have my hands.... Dying Hair

I want to dye my hair. I have red hair like Shaun white and I am sick of being called a ginger and standing out. my parents will never let me do it and i'm abroad right now for a semester so i think this is the best time. they are coming to visit at the end of march, early april so i want a dye that will not last that long and wont cause any permanent damage. is there a type of dye that would not cause permanent damage and will wash out within like 6 weeks? i want to do a light brown so nothing dark or too drastic. is there a kind of dye that will wash out within a few washes but doesnt make your hair stringy or damaged? i like my red hair but i also want a little change for some time. is there a chance my hair won't return to how it is now?

Why wont my mom let me get snakebites

I have been asking my mom for snakebites for about 3 years (I'm 13) everytime I ask her when I can get tem she says "once you move out" I don't know what age I'm moving out though...I have been on the computer researching everything there is to know about them, I even know all the types there are, I even have a job planned out if I get them ill work at HotTopic..... she thinks that they are horrible,I think they are awsome, what should i do to tell her how bad I want them I mean I REALLY want them. the inside of my eyelids are sorta white, im always out of breath, ive fainted quite a few times in my life, when I stand up I get very dizzzy sometimes, I get headaches often (i had a migrane for a full month 2 years ago) i bruise very easily, my period is irregular& im pale compared to parents.
im 17/f, with a child, so im always fatigued.
