I'm a mother of 2 boys who are 13 months apart. Talk about a handful. I'm a wife to the best husband I could have ever dreamed of.I'm one of the very blessed.
I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.
Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.
Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.

Listen, the best thing I can tell you to do is to check in your phone's user manual. It should give you step by step instructions.
If you don't have a manual or can't find it, call up your phone provider. The customer service may be able to help you, or give you other avenues to get help.

14/f im really mad right now because well my best friend [guy] and i were supposed to go to the movies tomorrow and all but my parents dont let me go out with guys even though we are only friends. so i lied and told them that i was gonna go with my friend [girl]. so i called girl and asked if she wanted to come with us and guy would hide so that my mom wouldnt see him. but in the end girl cant go so i cant go with guy. im not a bad person, i have really good grades and have never gotten into any trouble. why dont they trust me to go to the movies with my best friend? i havent seen him in like a month and i freakin miss him so much! and plus i do kinda like him even tho he doesnt like me back...i just wish my parnets woould trust me and not be all in my buisness all the time. umm help? thanx
Well, you need to realize that you aren't likely the one they mistrust. I'm sure the one they mistrust is the teenage boy with raging hormones. Not saying that he is going to put the moves on you, but THEY don't know that for fact- get it?
I don't agree with And1UCS. The worst mistake you can make is to tell your parents to butt out. How far are would they trust you then? Doubtfully as far as they can throw you.
And so long as I'm talking matters of trust, if they catch you in the act of hiding him so you can go hang out with him, then they won't trust either one of you, and then where will you be?
I'm not being cruel and unusual, here. I'm being realistic. :)
Have you thought to ask your parents to invite him over to sit down to dinner and a movie some evening at your home?
Maybe if they'll go for something like that, they can get a chance to get to know the lad. That might help leaps and bounds the next time they have to make a decision about you going to the movie theater to catch the latest flick with him.

ok one of my friends took a pregnancy test and well actually she took two and well the instructions said that

and her tests come up as a straight line like up indown line with out the the other line
its not the negative sign nor the positve signs

Just an FYI- Pregnancy tests have a higher chance of being false negatives than false positives. They are more accurate than you think.
In fact, my local doctor's offices and my county health department use tests just like you buy in the store. I'm sure it is the same where you live. The only time the doctor's office doesn't use those tests is when they do a blood test.
To ensure an accurate result, if your friend is a teen, she should wait to test until she is at least 2 weeks late for her next due period.
Why? Because her menstrual cycle is not likely regulated, for starters. Also, she has to allot time for enough progesterone to show up in her urine for the test to give a positive result, if she is pregnant.

Okay, So im on the softball team & im a sophmore.
Ive NEVER played softball in my life.
& today was the first day of summer workout and today I realized that Im reallly out of shape.
I'm sore and everything on my body is killing me.
When my muscles ache, it causes me to get sick and run a veryy high temperature.
I dont want to quit the team already after one day. But I dont want to come home everyday and be sick.
Should I quit or suck it up?

Personally, I would suck it up, because I had a lot of fun playing softball when I was in school.
Get yourself a bag of Epsom Salts and put them in a warm bath. It has all the directions on the bag, and tells you how to use them if you don't have a bathtub to soak in.
It will help ease your aching body until it gets used to the workout.

I live near a city so i go into there a lot. when i do, i see soldiers sometimes, and marines. I always want to walk up to them and just give them big hugs, thank them and walk away. But i never do. Would it be weird if i walked up to them and stuck out my hand and said "thanks for everything"???
Weather you are a girl or big burly guy, they would be very appreciative that you offer your hand and thank them.

my dad came home drunk 2 nights ago and it got out of control. he packed his bags and left, and scared the shit out of me and my brother and my mom. hes done this like 6 times over the last 15 years when hes been married to my mom, and he cheated on her once when my brother was 7 and i was 6. my mom hid it from us, but had him arressted for a night. most ppl are funny and let go when their drunk, but he's a mean drunk. hes an alcoholic and he cant stop it, so my parents are getting a divorce, my dads gonna live by himself and me and my mom and my brother are moving to a smaller house sometime before december. its by our house now, but i've never lived in a small house and i'm going to miss my dad so much, i don't even know if they are going to give him visitation rights to see us unless he is sober for a certain amount of time. if you can say anything to make me feel better or if you've been through the same thing, i appreciate some advice.thanks
Well, of course he should have to stay sober for a certain period of time before he sees you. I know it sucks on your end that way, but I seriously doubt you want to have visitations with him being drunk, right? Especially considering he is mean about it.
Keep your chin up, because I know this all really blows, but it is the right thing for your mom to do. It isn't fair of him to be coming home all drunk and mean, getting out of control and scaring the living shit out of his family. This is the best way your mom can put a stop to it.
Think positive- maybe he will see the err of his ways and seek treatment for his alcoholism. I'm sure you would enjoy your time spent with him much more then.

To make a long story short, my cell phone fell in the toilet. It the sprint A900M, if that helps somehow. I don`t even know how that could help, but do you know of anything I could do to fix it? Or should I just buy a new phone?

I ran my husband's cell phone through the washer last week (no, not intentionally LOL) and I removed the battery cover, battery, and SIM card and left it to dry for, oh, probably 24 hours or so.
It worked like a charm when we put it back together, but the battery needed charged.
And if it makes a difference, the phone was turned on when it made it's spin cycling adventure, and it still worked after drying. (Yah... He didn't think it would work... HA!)

I work as a service clerk in a drugstore, usually in 8-hour shifts. During this time I am either running around stocking things, helping people find things, or ringing people up, so I'm obviously on my feet the entire time. I am not allowed to wear sneakers or open-toed shoes, but by the end of the day my feet are killing me. I've tried wearing flats, vans, heels, kitten heels, and boots but they all were painful. Anyone have (a) any suggestions for close-toed, comfy shoes, or (b) any ideas to stop the pain?
I used to work 12-16 hour shifts standing on concrete floors just like you stand on.
A) Like those before me said- Crocs. If you can't wear those, then you need to find a shoe with a thick, comfortable sole and good arch support.
Flats, heels, boots, and Vans, are nice and all, but they don't have the cushion or arch support you definitely need when working at a job like that.
Unless you are flat footed, lack of arch support can lead to fallen arches.
B) While you are at work in the drug store, pick up a bag of Epsom Salts. Make a warm foot bath with the salts and soak a spell. You would not believe the relief Epsom Salts can give to your sore, tired dogs.

Ok, I'm sure that people have heard this one before, but this is serious and we need help:
When my girlfriend and I have sex, I can't keep my erection long enough to orgasm. This results in hurt feelings and disappointment. I don't know what's wrong with me... I know I can orgasm, but I just can't keep the erection long enough to be able to. My girlfriend is very upset by this as well... You need to have confidence in yourself that you can keep an erection during sex before you even begin. Negative thoughts in the back of your mind, such as feelings of disappointment, failure, and inadequacy will likely keep the problem ongoing.
Masturbation, no matter how frequent or infrequent has nothing to do with it, so no worries on that.
It isn't a matter of being gay or not loving your girlfriend, as you obviously well know.
My chips lie on it being psychological, since you come off to me as lacking self confidence in the sex department because of this.
The fact that your girlfriend is upset about this doesn't help at all. Reassure her that it has nothing to do with her. Talk to her about your feelings of inadequacy, and maybe you can get past all that and go on with a happy, fulfilling sex life.
If nothing else, you may consider setting an appointment and discussing it with your doctor. Not saying it is a medical problem, but your doctor would be able to advise you on your problem.

Your best bet is to stress as little as possible. Stress can cause your period to come late.
If your period becomes 2 weeks late for your next due period, take a test.
