I live near a city so i go into there a lot. when i do, i see soldiers sometimes, and marines. I always want to walk up to them and just give them big hugs, thank them and walk away. But i never do. Would it be weird if i walked up to them and stuck out my hand and said "thanks for everything"???

They have been through so much and not that many people even thank them let alone care what they have gone though. They'll deffinetly be very thankful. Go for it! I have friends in the military, and I know they are grateful to know we appreciate them volunteering to put their lives on the line for the rest of us.
There are people out there who protest the war and take their anger out on our soldiers instead of the government who sends them there.

And one day me and my friends were outside and we see them coming. And at that moment, we knew we had to do something to show them that we cared. So we quickly, got a pen and wrote on our shirt "WE CARE" and they stopped and said thanked us. So I say you go up to them and thank them for everything. After all, they do deserve. Show them that you care(: [ LiTTLEGiRLBLUE's advice column | Ask LiTTLEGiRLBLUE A Question ]
