I live near a city so i go into there a lot. when i do, i see soldiers sometimes, and marines. I always want to walk up to them and just give them big hugs, thank them and walk away. But i never do. Would it be weird if i walked up to them and stuck out my hand and said "thanks for everything"??? (link)

I've had an Ipod Nano 2 generation for a little over 6 months, and I love it to death. But it's just a silver one, and it only holds 2gs and i'm afraid i'll soon run out of room on it. I was looking on the internet and seen a new mp3 player called a Zune, and thought it was just the cutest thing. At first I wouldn't dream of trading in my Ipod, but the I noticed that the Zune held 30gs!
What do you think? Should I trade in the Ipod for the Zune or not? (link)

Zunes are great but because they are less popular they don't have as many features. For example, and music you've bought off iTunes you won't be able to play with a Zune because they run on the windows music format, which iPods do not. In your case I'd stick with a video iPod. They also have 30gig and are around the same cost as a Zune. You also won't have to download new software!

my boyfriend's mother just died from huntingtons disease. he also has this. he has seen a lot of people die in his life. i would like to make a cd of songs telling him how sorry i am for his loss, and letting him know i love him and am there for him. does anyone have any song suggestions? please and thank you, it means a lot. 15/F (link)

They have recently rasied the price. It used to be $0.10, but it now $0.15. At least that's what my bill says, it could be different in differnt areas, but I doubt it. Expect to pay between $0.10 - $0.15 for a text.

In 5 foot 4 and i weigh 115 pounds
I would love to become a model. Its always been my dream, but i dont know where to start.
i love all of it. Runway, catalogue, anything.
I need to stay proper (im religious) but i dont think that would be an issue for a 13 year old
But no swimsuits or anything
How would i go about getting prepared to do this? How old/tall do i need to be to begin modeling? What to i need to begin going on go-sees to agencys? How should i act once im there? Do i need a portfolio or anything?
How about posture?
Im basically clue-less, so any information would help!
I watch americas next top model, but they are older.
Do you suggest going to barbizon?

Well I know local store like Wal Mart and K Mart use locals in their adds, so you could try asking there, it's a start.
Always keep your eye out in the paper or magazines, your bound to find something depending on where you live.
But if all else fails, google search modeling agemcies, ect. When i was intrested in the same thing i yeilded many results this way!

My Dell Inspiron 600m constantly keeps switching between battery and electricity even though I keep it plugged in. I have to finagle with the power cord to make it use electricity. I replaced the power cord about 6 weeks ago because the old power cord stopped working. My battery is not one of the batteries that was recalled; nor did I ever have one of the recalled batteries in my computer. What could be wrong? (link)

Well my Gateway laptop does this constantly, which causes it to quickly run out of battery :/ I just learned to live with it, but I noticed if you jiggle the thing that plugs into your laptop you should be able to find a good spot to keep it where you want it. I've always considered it just a bad charger that doesn't like to stay in play! Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

You know those cool effects that you can use to take pictures at the apple store on their computers?
Is there any way to do that through a website online to a picture that has already been tacken?

You can do that with Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro which costs money, but for a free program try Gimp. It's free and you can google search Gimp Tutorials to find out how to do certian things!

It would be considered a picture text msg, which depending on your carrier, costs money and is not included in the plan. I bleive they are around $0.25 cents each picture messgae, but you can buy a seperate plan for picture messaging, just like you do for texting!

My computer plays horrible and random music 24/7 when I turn on the computer. I've tried to run a virus scan(verizon) everyday and it never seems to solve the problem. The weird thing is that the music continues to play when there are no programs running. it seems like I've tried everything and I don't know what to do. (link)

Well first of all, I would try downloading a better virus program. Most that I would reccomend are not free, but I think McAfee (think that's what it's called) has a free download which I would reccomend.
Second of all, press CTRL + ALT + DELETE (only if you are using Windows XP or lower) and check and see if it shows any unwanted programs running. If so you can close them from there.
If none of these work, find you computer manual and call the support number, they will be more than happy to help you!
Oh, have you tried restarting? Always try that first ;]

I am considering taking a jazz class during fall. A few years ago, i took about 1 year of beginning jazz and i took ballet when i was very little (if that even matters). I'm wondering if i should because #1, i'm not too flexible, and #2, i'm not too skinny...i'm not fat, i just don't have that really tall and slender body type. The other option is hip hop...i've taken 2 years of that. But I want to get back into jazz because i like the more lyrical style it has. So, my question is...which dance class should i take? Would jazz not be right for a person like me? (link)

Now I'm no expert, but I would go with the one you will enjoy more. There's no paoint in taking hip hop if you will be wishing you had taken jazz the entire time.
As for jazz, even if it is for the more slender, that doesn't mean it's not right for you. You may have to work a bit harder at it, but for the most part, you shouldn't have a problem. No one's automaticlly flexible. After awhile you'll become more and more flexible, you have to work up to it! For example, each morning try to touch your toes, and you will find that you can go down father and father :D

okay so for my friends sweet sixteen present im bringing her to las vegas for 4ish days ... anyways what a coool way i can like present this gift to her.. a lot of my friends when they do big presents like this they make baskets with cluies in it of what the gift is and in the end it tells what it is..

Something my parents always used to do with my when I was young... Invite her over, and give her a slip of paper saying here the next slip is hidden, and then keep leading her around the yard with each slip of paper. At the end maybe give her a clue like sin city or something, and then say happy birthday, lol! That's my idea!
Or for a basket, you could put a little slot machine, poker chips, cards, just vegas related things, lol!
