Hey Everyone :) I'm Kate and a level 2 mod on here. I've had this account since July 2004, so I've been on here since I was 13! Wow ... crazy for me to think how long ago that was. I will admit I don't check in as often as I once did, but being away at college, being in a sorority, and having a job when I'm not at school is very time consuming. I still try to help out as much as possible, and if you send me a question I WILL answer it. This site helped me a LOT when I was in high school and had a lot of questions, and I'm here to help anyone who needs it :) Feel free to write in my forum or send me a question any time!

Around an hour

lets see, you get there and wait a few minutes before getting called back - 5-10 minutes

You get them taken off - 15-20 minutes

You get your mouth cleaned 10-15 minutes

Retainer if needed - 5-10 minutes

Checking out and paying - 5 minutes

So if it takes the highest amount of time in each, then that ='s up to about an hour
anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour is my guess
my sister had hers taken off just last week, actually it was wednesday

You might have to give or take minutes on each thing listed, you never know, it also depends on where you go to get them done.

most likely, the broke the hymen... as you would say, popped the cherry. Or, scratched you, the only reason you'd have something to worry about would be if it's bleeding a lot, or if it won't stop. It's normal to bleed, or atleast I've been told it is. Also, if it continues to hurt, or starts to hurt, then thats not a very good sign.

If you still have worries, like in a day or 2 because it's still bleeding or you're in pain, talk to a parent or doctor. Sorry, this isn't much help, but the best I can do.

I'm not so sure what to say to help you. See a doctor about getting viagra, or maybe start of with a romantic picnic in the park, around lunch time, then when you get home, a very nice romantic dinner, then you're tired, go to bed early if you know what I mean.

You probably don't want to do that every day, so maybe buy her something really sexy to wear, that might help.

Just incase, go for viagra, or talk to your doctor.

Did you know that there really are goths out there, and that is totally rude to 'dress up' as them. Some of my best friends are goths/punks, and dress that way, and it offends us when others are like Oh lets be goths. Also, it's sort of degrading to hookers.
If anything be a playboy bunny.
Or think of something cooler.

I know you probably think this is rude, but whenever I see somebody ask if they should be goth for halloween, I find that rude. Sorry, and I know I didn't have to answer, but I felt like I should.

Well, you could always go to build a bear, and see if they have any clothing like that, and make a bear specially for him (or w/e animal you want)

Or, you could head to hot - topic, pacific sunwear(pac-sun) Or you could treat him to a movie or something, like if he usually pays, or you split it, then pay for his whatever, and your.

a lot of my friends are acting differently towards me, and theyre starting not really talking to me....its kinda weird because in 8th grade, one of my friends, lets just call him Bob. bob and i used to be really good friends, and now this year, in 9th, he's acting differently towards me and he used to IM me a lot, and now he doesnt and he doesnt say hi in the hallways anymore!

Maybe they feel that they are maturing and you are not, or that you've matured and they haven't, so they don't want to hang around you anymore. I sort of avoid a friend, but I didn't really ever want to be friends with her, my mom sort of made me. I know you might not want to hear this, but they might feel embarassed by you. Or they feel that you've grown apart from them.

Aproach one of them, or a few at a time, and ask if somethings up, that you've noticed we don't hang as often or something, and tell them to be truthful, and you won't mind if they seriously say whats up, and then you CAN'T explode, listen to what they have to say, you might not like it.

My mom says I need to be more responsable so that she can trust me when I start driving in a month. How can I show her that she can trust me?

Do chores and stuff that you know you will be asked to do, BEFORE you are asked. Cook dinner once a week or so (unless your supposed to do that anyways) Drive around with her in the car, and show her that you know what you're doing. Have a reasonable curfew for the next month, and be in 8-15 minutes before it's up each night. DO NOT LIE! Always call he when your plans change. Talk to her, and tell her whatever she wants to know! Try to make better grades (unless you're already an A student, or A/B student)

TARGET, and wal-mart, and khols have some awesome and okay priced stuff (except khols, a bit expensive)
Well my fave colors are green, blue, and pink

Those would make cute colors for the walls, as long as they match the bed spreads, and stuff.

Get tan, woodent furniture, and maybe some bean bag chairs, or director chairs, or other cute stuff.

Target, wal-mart, khols, goody's?, are some places I'm thinking of.

i just moved and i was at my old school for 13 years and made alot of friendships. Now that i am going to a new school it is hard for me to open up to people and i dont want everyone to think that i am acting bitchy or something just cause i dont talk to them and ideas on who i could open up ?

Well, during class, ask somebody you sit next to about an assignment, or ask some people about their schedule, and if you have classes with them, ask if you can walk with them for the 1st few days.

Me and my friends usually feel bad because the new kids don't know their way, so we'll give them a week to see how much we like 'em, and after a week, if we don't really like 'em that much, we'll introduce them to a bunch of others. Maybe others at your school, since it's a christian school, will be nice to you.

If there are any clubs whatsoever, JOIN, even if you don't like it that much, you can always stop showing up.

I'm don't want one until mid 20's, but really it all depends on my financial status, my marital status, will I make a good parent. Also, if I'm out of college, I couldn't take having a child, and being in school at the same time, too difficult.

hey i'm the girl whose walkman was broken because the sound was only coming out of the 1 ear. well it wasnt the headphones because i put other headphones in and it still didnt work, so i want to know if there is a place where i can get my walkman looked at/repaired. i have a Sony Psyche and i HEARD that they don't make them anymore, so where could bring it to get it fixed? my mom doesnt remember where she bought it. and would it be cheaper to get it repaired or should i just buy a new one? i have no idea. and i feel bad because we dont really have alot of money right now.

It'll probably be cheaper just to buy another one. It's suprising that it wasn't the headphones, but the walkman might cause you more trouble. I don't know if they haven't continued making it, so if they haven't, then it'll probably a lot more expensive. If you end up buying a new one, keep the reciept, and only buy it if it's returnable.

two scenarios that piss me off (on AIM)

1)) i make a whole long really nice a/m, save it, and then wen i click "im away" its times new roman black and all it says is the title that i saved it as

2))wen i like my other sn ( i have the latest AIM) lots of times when i click "apply" its times new roman black font and it says about three of the words i put in with a bunch of dashes. For example if i wrote "brb im really busy and upset" brb im reall---

SO ANNOYING! please help.

1.) It's too long, so it'll either cut it off, or it will just use the title, mine usually cuts off.

2.) Well, the only thing I can think of is maybe reinstalling it, or going back to a different type of aim. I'm not totally sure, my dad is the computer genious, not me.
