Hey! Wow I found a good question to answer lol. That's because i got mine off on the 8th :-D. Well I had braces on my top and bottom teeth but the orthodontist took the tool and like twisted the bracket and then got the ring thing on the back molars off and that took like less then 5 mins then i had to get the glue off my teeth and that took 5 mins at the most and then you probably will get fitted for a retainer or w/e but the total time i was in there wuz like 30-45 mins thats all :)

It takes about an hour since you have to wait a few minutes before they call you (5-10 minutes), then your orthodontist takes out the wires and the brackets (about a good 10-20 minutes), then he/she has to polish your teeth which hurts a little bit (about 15-25 minutes), and then that's basically it. Your orthodontist will talk to your parents and everything and so on. Then you have to go back in a week to get your retainer assigned. After that, you just have to wear your retainer for a long time, depending on your teeth. I had my braces taken off a while ago and now I have to wear my retainer only when I go to bed until January 2005 lol. If you need anything else, just ask me!! Hope I helped and good luck :)

Around an hour

lets see, you get there and wait a few minutes before getting called back - 5-10 minutes

You get them taken off - 15-20 minutes

You get your mouth cleaned 10-15 minutes

Retainer if needed - 5-10 minutes

Checking out and paying - 5 minutes

So if it takes the highest amount of time in each, then that ='s up to about an hour
anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour is my guess
my sister had hers taken off just last week, actually it was wednesday

You might have to give or take minutes on each thing listed, you never know, it also depends on where you go to get them done.

It takes very little time to get the actual braces off, something like 15 minutes it seemed like. But after they get them off, they have to clean your teeth, and then glue on a retainer (if you are getting permanent retainers). So it could take around 45 minutes, maybe an hour for some people.

it depends on how messed up your teeth are ... normally it takes 2 yrs and if treatment goes really good you may get them off a few months early but if your teeth are really messed up it will most likely take longer i know ppl that had them for 4 yrs. hope i helped! -kayla
