Today I got a Ipod Mini. I installed all the software - and it all works. But when I plug in my ipod to put music on it, the computer doesn't recognize it or anything. How do I get the computer to recognize it?

You can't really force yourself away from the computer to another thing unless you absolutely cannot use the computer.
Meaning, you'll probably need to unplug it. That what several of my friends did during the school year to let them concentrate, or do something else.

I'm 16/f and one of my best friends is 17/m. We're ridiculously close friends. He understands me so well, and he actually cares. He has been one of the nicest people to me in my entier life. He's always there, and he always listens. He's just the sweetest person in the world.
The only problem is, I like him. A lot. As in more than best friends. But my question is, do I just keep our friendship, so that nothing else can be ruined, or do I try and push for more?
I don't want things to be awkward between us, but I love him. He has been the sweetest person in the world.
I'm confused about what to do. I'm torn between getting closer or staying how we are. Help.
I would say that you should stick with what you have, unless you know that your feelings are mutual.
More than likely, if he wants more, he'd let you know. But you could always talk to him.
Acting on your feelings would make things awkward, but talking to him about them would only let him, and most likely you, understand them better.

What is a narrative story? How many paragraphs does it have in it? What do each paragraph have to explain? Is it just a free write, no limit, no order? or does it have to go in order of events? I have no idea what it is and I'm going to need it for school. Please help me.
A narrative story is any story where a person is telling the story, rather than just descriptions.
For example...
Non-narrative:
"The trees in the forest are tall and magnificent, and the owls stalk their prey."
Narrative:
"As I looked around the forest, I watched the owls stalk their prey amongst the tall trees."
The only difference is that you make it a person telling the story, instead of just descriptions. Although, you can mix both kinds and still make it a narrative, as long as it has that personal aspect to it.
Other than that, you have freedom to do what you want, in length, order, theme, characters, scenery, whatever you wish.

As much as the clothes were worth when you bought them, I'm pretty sure that you won't get a whole lot of money for them if you trade them in at Plato's Closet. Probably around 20-30% of what you paid for them.

15/F I have this pain in the lower right side of my stomache (like where they say your appendix is)... its not a sharp painful pain, its just sore and it hurts. I feel it when I walk or sit down. I know its not cramps because my period passed already. It started hurting when I woke up with morning. Im really scared... could it be my appendix? Or one of my reproductive organs? Its only on my right lower side of my abdomen. HELP im so scared...
A few years ago I had a pain in the same area and the doctor did a small test to see if it was my appendix. All you have to do is jump and lift your right arm towards the ceiling. If you feel intensified pain while you do that, it could be your appendix.
But really, you should go to a doctor of the pain doesn't go away in a few days.

hello ive got an interview for nursing on friday and im really scared about it can any one give me any tips on what there going to ask me and what are things i should do to impress them thank you
Well, I just had an interview for a similar position two or so weeks ago.
The main thing they look for is for you to act calm and not nervous. They want people who are really dignified.
The way the ask the questions is very intimidating at first, they sort of fire the first question at you, and it's usually one of those questions like "Why do you want to work here?"
They ask as many questions about you as they do about what you like about them.
They have to be selelctive with the people they hire for these positions, because if you mess up on the job they can be held responsible. So really, the best thing you can do to impress them is to just stay as calm as possible, don't let them think that their questions have stumped you, or that you don't know how to answer.

I had just gotten a kitten for my birthday and I was wondering if there was a way I could get it to slowly stop meowing as much. It also doesn't really like being touched but I think that's because the lady that owned it had his litter outdoors. I'm trying my best to handle him and get him used to being around people but he meows every few minutes. So any ideas on how to calm him down?
It may not be the same, but when I first got my kitten, it meowed a lot. It slowly stopped over time, he pretty much only meows now when he wants food.

I would say that it depends on the genre of the book she is selling.
If you go for really big publishers like Penguin that publish a large variety of books, they may pay less than a smaller publishing company that specializes in say, romance novels.

See I told my friend about this site and now I just dont like the fact of her coming on it because it was supposed to be my own little thing and she is annoying me so bad. Ive tried to tell her please odnt come on this site anymore and she doens't deserve to be on it anyway because she copies other peoples answers to questions. Is there a way to get her kicked off this site and even if she tried to make another sn on it she couldn't. That would be nice because she deserves it.
If she's copying other people's answers, yes, we can ban her, but only temporarily (like 3-5 days, maybe she'll get bored by then and leave). But you know she has every right to be here as long as she's over 13.
