K3587 answered Friday July 1 2005, 3:34 pm:
Well, it actually all depends on your body. For most people, it takes about a month; for others, it can take up to 6. My mother had a friend who applied at the Post Office. He hadn't smoked in 8 months, and it still showed in the test.

So, drink water and pee a lot. That's about all you can do.

The military urinalysis guys tell me you're clear. Even so, drink water. Even if you don't have any in your system, it's good for you.

Although there is always variation, I've been told it takes about a month to clear out of your system. I'm not a doctor, but you're probably fine.
