I've used Mane and Tail shampoo for my hair, and it didn't make my hair grow faster, though that wasn't the purpose of me using it. I had VERY curly hair when I was younger, and the Mane and Tail shampoo was easiest to use and cheaper than most. Now my hair is just frizzy, wavy and uncontrollable...
anyway. I don't know if it will make YOUR hair grow faster, but it might. It has made some of my horses' manes and tails grow faster; but only on some of the horses. Say, it made 50% of the horses have longer hair faster, while the other 50% didn't have that much of a result. It just depends on you.
Oh, and by the way : The shampoo isn't all that different than people shampoo. Check the ingredients. o.O

MummuM answered Friday August 12 2005, 7:48 pm: Honestly, that doesn't sound too safe, hun. This product is for horses, not people. I suggest not using it. Maybe there is shampoo out there for humans who'd like to have their hair grow faster. Check around some salons or go and talk to your hair dresser about it.
