I'm a mother of 2 boys who are 13 months apart. Talk about a handful. I'm a wife to the best husband I could have ever dreamed of.I'm one of the very blessed.
I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.
Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.
Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.
I'm one of the lucky ones.
I'm honest, and that can either be a perk or s flaw. Depends on how you choose to look at it.
I like to see it as a perk, because it's better to hear the truth than to be told candy coated bullshit.

ever since i can remember ive had these stomach pains that are very intense. they happen randomly and happen for usually about 5 minutes. usually when i get them they feel like a sharp pain in my lower stomach. and usually i go to the bathroom afterwards, it sometimes helps, but it hurts afterwards to. also when this happens and im in school its TERRIBLE. the pain is so intense i almost cry right then and there. the pain is so harsh that it takes my breath away and makes my hands close up to try to get rid of the pain. i take try to take deep breaths and it sometimes works. im jus so confused as to what this is? irritable bowel syndrome? i dont know, but help!
You need to go to a doctor so they can diagnose your problem. After that, they will have an idea on how to treat what ails you so you can get to feeling better.
Heck, may end up being something as simple as avoiding certain foods. All you need to do is set that appointment...

You should know that when I like I guy .. I distant myself and won't talk to him unless he texts/calls me first .. yeah I know doesn't get me far at ALL .. but I can't break it.
So.. there is this guy i've liked for so long .. we flirt all the time but don't get to see each other that often since we're both busy. We don't go to the same school either .. he's actually a yr younger than me. I haven't talked to him in like three weeks :(
ANYWAYS - my problem is that I had borrowed something to him about a month ago and had never gotten it back. I actually forgot he had it until now. I feel bad just texting him saying "do you think I could have it back?" To me, that just sounds kind of like a bitchy move .. but maybe its just me because I think everything sounds dumb when I'm talking to a guy I like. I remember telling him a few weeks ago he could have it for another week .. but then I needed it back and he was like haha okay .. but then I forgot about it and obviously he hasn't said anything. We never text each other just saying like "hey" so that would be strange for me to do .. and then ease my way into asking for it back.
I don't know what to do .. how can I ask for my stuff back without me seeming like a retard. I could say something like I forgot you had it .. but then what .. but now I remembered and it'd be nice to have it back??
I look into things way too much .. but could someone please help me on what to just text him saying ... because then after I ask him it'd be nice to talk to a little bit .. so I don't really just want to be like do you think you could give it back to me? Because he'd probably just be like "yeah"
You said you needed it back and he replied, "haha okay" and never returned it?
Sounds like jerk behavior on his part, considering it is his responsibility to return the item to you.
You need to just buck up and say, "Look, I hate to sound like a bitch, but I really need my item back. I loaned it to you a month ago, so I expect you to return it to me tomorrow." (Make sure you tell him to return it by a certain date!)
Being firm and to the point with people is not a bad thing. Seems he's walking on you about this, and life is difficult when you allow people to walk on you. This is a prime opportunity to step up for yourself.
It's also a prime opportunity to realize that men are no better than women, and it's a huge mistake to put them on a pedestal.
Now go get your stuff back.
It's YOUR stuff.

When I was a teenager (almost 25 years ago) I had a boyfriend for 3 years. he was the only one I ever truly was "in love" with. All others after him seemed like love but it was never the same. We broke up because he cheated on me. But his excuse was he was "practicing" for me. It was lame. I was stubborn and hard headed and never forgave him. Over the years all of my bad decisions, and mistakes were because I still always loved him and still wanted to be with him. But he moved away and I thought it was too late. All these years I longed for him, dreamed about him, cried for him. I recently sent him a card because a family member passed away. I met him for coffee when he was in town and we talked for hours. We have been emailing ever since....and discovered we are both still in love with each other. It seems time has stood still. My heart just aches. I dont know what to do. We are both married. I cant break up my family, and I wouldnt want his wife or my husband to get hurt. What do I do. I cant stop writing him, I cant let him go again.
I have to say it... You are just as lame for going behind your husband's back right now as he was for cheating on you all those years ago.
You can't break up your family?
Then woman up and let him go.
If you can't let him go, then you need to come clean to your husband and let him decide what he wants to do about you.

I don't know whats wrong with me but I can't feel it when i have orgasms. Or i'll barely feel it. I know i'm having them because sometimes i'll even squirt. My whole body shakes and then i just kind of relax.. but i dont feel anything. Is there anything i can do to make them feel better?
Do you realize you are asking orgasm advice to a site consisting of mainly columnists as young as 13 years old?
hi there
well my husband and i were talking and he happened to bring up the lack of romance in the marriage on his part. im not gonna lie, he isnt really the romantic type at all. not that it bothers me, ive become more accustomed to it that i dont even know what to do or even to tell him what to do when he asks how he could become better at it. he feels a bit insecure about it, i can tell by the way he talks about it. he says "no wonder you're so unhappy" and stuff like that. so when he asks me what he could do better i dont really know what to tell him.
my question is, well, how can he be more romantic?
without making him look whipped or anything cause if it does i believe he will have a problem with it, this im not sure but he brought it up jokingly. how does a man be romantic? what would a man do?
What you need to do is sit back and think carefully on what YOU want from him. What I want from my husband may be a completely different ballpark.
Do you like getting flowers? Massages? Going out for dinner and a movie? Long walks in the park?
We can't tell you what you want, though it would be nice if we could.

Raven-Symone was on the Wendy Williams Show today and she said Wendy embarrased her on her radio show by asking her when she was 15 if she was a virgin in front of her parents. Does anybody know her answer?
And this is asking for advice how?
This is ADVICEnators.
Questions like this not only waste our time, but take the place of questions that may be important.

i'm getting my monroe done on my birthday, i'm not scared at all but i have a few questions.
does it bother you when you eat and whatnot?
how much does it hurt, if even at all?
does it rub up against your gum or anything?
and also, is anyone aware of a website that lets you see what the piercing would look like on you before you actually get it pierced?
thanks [:
I just had mine done a few days ago.
So far, I've had a lot of trouble with swelling. It was sinking into my face because of it, and I had to go back and get a longer bar, yet.
I've had several piercings, I seldom find it painful, but a couple of them were bothersome. This was one of them. However, asking others if it hurts is actually pointless to you, because it all depends on the person and their pain tolerance.
ALL oral piercings contact gums and/or teeth, and generally cause gum/tooth damage. Ask your dentist, they don't lie about these things.
As for the website, I know of no such thing, but if you find one, let me know. I'm thinking of doing my bridge next.

I went to the bathroom and I pooped blood! Why is this happening? Am I going to die?
Go to the doctor.
We are unable to diagnose medical problems.

I'm 15 and have recently found out that I'm pregnant the guy wants nothing to do with it and i've been really stressed out about it, people keep saying you can hit yourself in the stomach and make yourself miscarriage is this true ? and what are the symptoms of miscarriage.. thank you
Trying to cause yourself a miscarriage is not only stupid, but it's dangerous.
You were mature enough to create this child, you be mature enough to tend to yourself properly.
Go to a doctor.

Okay I am 36 weeks pregnant I am dialated to 3 cm's. its the forth day in a row i have been having contractions. The doctors here said oh you may go full term when are they supose to admit you to the hospiatl? Am I wrong for being concerned. This is my second child.
They told me not to come to the hospital until I was having regular contractions that are 10 minutes apart. Being this is your second child, I'm sure you know what Braxton-Hicks contractions are; I'd say that's what you are experiencing.
Of course, you should call your doctor with any questions or concerns.

How would it have been if your mother helped you wash after you hit puberty?

P.S.
Though it would be nice if your sister helped, you should be thankful that she cares enough about your kids to question them.
I Feel Moving Like Kicking In My Stomach And Feel Pregnant But My Tubes Are Tide And I Have Had Two Negative Pregnancy Tests?
Can humans have parasites?
Gas.
You probably have gas.
But if you are worried about it, the doctor can answer any questions you have.

People say my eyes are really pretty in the light; they say they look like the inside of a kiwi and they sparkle. Is there any make up (no eyeshadow) that would bring out that characteristic??
I use Cover Girl Exact Eyelights mascara for green eyes, and I'm quite pleased with the result.
I already have one tattoo that goes from my pelvic bone (hip) to my back and I'm getting the second one done on my upper rib right under my breast. Its a short quote. I'm getting it there no matter what but I was just wondering how bad it would hurt. The one on my hip didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would but it still had a few spots that made me cringe, and a few spots that actually tickled. So I know what a tattoo feels like but what about the ribs?
Rule of thumb for tattoos: The parts of your body with the least amount of meat hurt more.
Also, you really can't get a pain average from others, because pain tolerance depends on the person.
My dad left about 2 years ago. I am in serious financial trouble becasue I am a full time student and part time worker. I have tuition to pay fro and am 20yrs old. My dad and i don't speak very much but he asked me not to file any claims and he would "try" to send me money. he has send me MAYBE a total of 400 dollars since April. How do i file a claim against him. I need money and he should help me...what do i do???
I guess I'm confused as to what these claims are?
If you feel he's responsible for your college, I don't see how that is right. You are 20 years old, and responsible for yourself legally, not Dad.
If you are 20 and he left 2 years ago, then he shouldn't owe any support for you, considering you would have been 18. We all know that once a person hits 18, they are legally responsible for themselves.
Sure, he SHOULD help you with your tuition, being your father and all. I just don't understand how he's legally responsible for your finances?
I'd wager you'd do much better being responsible for yourself and filing for grants and student loans.
Then again, I only have what you've written above to go by.

so i love my gf very much i am a lesbian and her roomates 3 yr old is very attached to her he is a brat and gets whatever he wants he doesnt even sleep in his own bed i love kids but somethin bout this kid drives me nuts. she has said to me before or other ppl hes like my own son and she cares about him a lot i feel like im jealous of this kid but im really not but its tot he point when shes gotta babysit the little boy on early days i dont even wanna stay cuz he gets in her bed when i stay and shes all cuddled with him and ignores me in the bed and i said its cool hes more important to you she says think what you want what should i do?
Well, you really only have two options:
Suck it up and deal
or
Move on.
She said she loves him like a son, and to try to wedge them apart is a quick way for her to kick you to the curb.
So, suck up and deal, or take yourself to the curb.
Sorry. That's just the way it goes sometimes.

is it true that lotion dries out skin the more you use it? because your body thinks it is getting enough moisture that it doesn't need to make any "oil" anymore?
Over use of any moisturizer will make your skin dependent. That includes chap stick.
Lotions, lip balms, etc., aren't meant to be used all of the time. They are a medicine for your skin, and you don't take medicine unless you need it. To do so will make you sick, just as overuse of lotion makes your skin "sick" because it's dependent on the lotion.
Hope that makes some sort of sense.

My mom is 56 years old. She lives with my family, which consists of myself, my husband, and my two young daughters. My mother is diabetic and significantly overweight by at least 40 pounds, does not eat right, and does not exercise at all. Within the last couple of years, I have noticed that my mother is starting to act elderly. She sits in a rocking chair for hours on end, nods off to sleep whenever she feels like it, and has no motivation to do anything else. She has the physical behavior of an 80 year old and my mother is no where near old enough to be acting this way. I know that part of it is related to her lack of health. But I believe part of it is her emotional state. She does not act happy, content, excited about anything...just nothing. She might as well be a blob that sits and watches everyone else live their lives while she watches television. I am starting to feel really resentful about it, because my children see her act this way, and they deserve a grandmother who will play with them, take them for walks, drive them to the park, etc. There is always something wrong with her, like she always has a headache, or feels dizzy, or has an upset stomach, or anything to keep her from doing things with us. I do think that sometimes its real, but I also believe that many times, she uses "ailments" as an excuse to be lazy. When she was working, she often called in sick because she didn't feel good. I am really starting to wonder if my mother is depressed. She has had a tough life, and growing up with her for a mom was extremely difficult, but now I wonder if those instances of difficulty were part of a depression. I have tried to talk to her about this before, and it falls on deaf ears, and she usually gets really defensive, or tries to justify her behavior by some kind of bogus reason. I don't know what else to do from here, but I'm afraid that if my mom does not start living healthy all the way around, she will be living a self-fulfilled prophecy of growing old early and dying before her time.
Well, the fact of the matter is that you can't help those who don't want to help themselves. You also shouldn't resent her for not living the life you want her to live. Of course, I understand that you only want what's best for her, but she has to want those things for herself.
What is the reasons that she lives with you? Personally, I think I'd be rather depressed and probably even ashamed to have to live with my children.
What you say falls on deaf ears, but have you thought that it may be in the way that you're saying it? Try a different route when talking to her, because it is possible that your resentment is showing in the words you choose, or the tone of your voice.
Seriously. From what you've written, I see your worries and concern, but I also see your disgust and resentment. If I can see it through anonymous words on my computer screen, imagine what she sees living with you. How would you feel about life if you got that vibe off of your kids? You'd probably feel like ten shades of shit. I know I certainly would. So maybe that's some of how she's feeling, too.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to sound like a jerk. I understand you want a better life for her. I'm just saying what I'm getting from what you told me.
I hope she decides to live her life. And not for you, not for your kids, but for HER, because that is the most important.

Ok I'm turnning 16 in 4 weeks and my dad agreed to let me get any piercing I want! I really want Vertical Snake Bites!
Like this dude has: http://i404.photobucket.com/albums/pp121/sarahndipity81/Piercings%20and%20Tattoos/n5vq-vertical-snakebites.jpg
But I can't find any shop that'll do it for me since I'm 16 :(
I live in Illinois, anyone know a nice CLEAN shop that'll do it for me? In Illinois, Idiana and Wisconsin at most. If not...My second choice are Spider Bites.
Like so: http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k17/jordannrhodes/lip.jpg
I'd be getting them on both my left and right side, so it'd be four times...o-o
Know any place that'll do either or for me? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR TELL ME!!!!>:U
One more thing I'm looking to get my septum too, but, I'd like to know. Do you think I should wait a while first before I get 'em or get everything done at the same time?
--Thank you!
I can't help you with the "where" because I live in Kansas. I only suggest places I've personally had experience with.
It's odd that they won't do it for you, even based on your age. Around here, you aren't allowed to set foot in the shop until you are 16. At age 16, you can have tattoos and body piercings, but you must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who also must sign for permission. Of course, this may vary by state law and/or shop rules, I suppose.
As for the "when"
You can pierce it all at once if you really want, but that is a lot of caring at once. Its also a lot of trauma to your face at once.
The professional will be able to give you the best advice on how to go about doing it, but in my opinion, I'd say there's no reason you can't do all of your lip piercings at once. Personally, I think it would be easier to care for all of them at once rather than on separate occasions.
I will give you one thing to keep in mind: When doing them at once, each one done is the more traumatized your lip will become. It will likely hurt a little more with each piercing.
I'd say you probably want to avoid doing the septum and lip at the same time, though. Whichever you decide to do first, let it heal, then go for the other. Or that's my advice on it, anyway.
The lip isn't that bad of a healing process, I might add. I have a vertical labret, and other than my ear lobes, it was fastest healing piercing out of all of them I've had.
