ever since i can remember ive had these stomach pains that are very intense. they happen randomly and happen for usually about 5 minutes. usually when i get them they feel like a sharp pain in my lower stomach. and usually i go to the bathroom afterwards, it sometimes helps, but it hurts afterwards to. also when this happens and im in school its TERRIBLE. the pain is so intense i almost cry right then and there. the pain is so harsh that it takes my breath away and makes my hands close up to try to get rid of the pain. i take try to take deep breaths and it sometimes works. im jus so confused as to what this is? irritable bowel syndrome? i dont know, but help!

All through my elementary and Jr.high years. I didn't do anything and just dealt with it. However I had a doctors appointment made by my mom a year or two ago and they diagnosed it and gave me a few pills. I wish I had done it a lot sooner to avoid all that pain. Don't regret not doing it sooner, why put up with the pain when you can stop it right now. You could have a stomach ulcer or something, make an appointment. Why be in pain when you don't have to? Heck, may end up being something as simple as avoiding certain foods. All you need to do is set that appointment...
