Question Posted Wednesday February 10 2010, 11:28 am
hi there
well my husband and i were talking and he happened to bring up the lack of romance in the marriage on his part. im not gonna lie, he isnt really the romantic type at all. not that it bothers me, ive become more accustomed to it that i dont even know what to do or even to tell him what to do when he asks how he could become better at it. he feels a bit insecure about it, i can tell by the way he talks about it. he says "no wonder you're so unhappy" and stuff like that. so when he asks me what he could do better i dont really know what to tell him.
my question is, well, how can he be more romantic?
without making him look whipped or anything cause if it does i believe he will have a problem with it, this im not sure but he brought it up jokingly. how does a man be romantic? what would a man do?

Him cooking dinner occasionally, when you come home from work and finding that will be very cute. Massages are good too, and I think it is the little things that a guy does that make him more romantic. For example, bringing you out to this fancy restaurant and giving you expensive jewelry, and feeding you all these lines, may be very nice, but in my opinion its not as romantic as a nice home-cooked meal, a more thoughtful gift, and things like that. Do you like getting flowers? Massages? Going out for dinner and a movie? Long walks in the park?
We can't tell you what you want, though it would be nice if we could.
