But I can't find any shop that'll do it for me since I'm 16 :(
I live in Illinois, anyone know a nice CLEAN shop that'll do it for me? In Illinois, Idiana and Wisconsin at most. If not...My second choice are Spider Bites.
I'd be getting them on both my left and right side, so it'd be four times...o-o
Know any place that'll do either or for me? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR TELL ME!!!!>:U
One more thing I'm looking to get my septum too, but, I'd like to know. Do you think I should wait a while first before I get 'em or get everything done at the same time?
It's odd that they won't do it for you, even based on your age. Around here, you aren't allowed to set foot in the shop until you are 16. At age 16, you can have tattoos and body piercings, but you must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who also must sign for permission. Of course, this may vary by state law and/or shop rules, I suppose.
As for the "when"
You can pierce it all at once if you really want, but that is a lot of caring at once. Its also a lot of trauma to your face at once.
The professional will be able to give you the best advice on how to go about doing it, but in my opinion, I'd say there's no reason you can't do all of your lip piercings at once. Personally, I think it would be easier to care for all of them at once rather than on separate occasions.
I will give you one thing to keep in mind: When doing them at once, each one done is the more traumatized your lip will become. It will likely hurt a little more with each piercing.
I'd say you probably want to avoid doing the septum and lip at the same time, though. Whichever you decide to do first, let it heal, then go for the other. Or that's my advice on it, anyway.
The lip isn't that bad of a healing process, I might add. I have a vertical labret, and other than my ear lobes, it was fastest healing piercing out of all of them I've had.

It's been a cpl years since I lived in Illinois so not sure who's still where, but Cellar Dwellar and Dreamline are your best bet for underage mods. Chances are if they won't do it...

I like the spider bites better, but it's up to you, try contacting as many shops as you can. Be sure to check for cleanlyness too, wait to get your septum done, I suggest get one side done first for your spider bites as well, then get the others done. Happy piercing :] [ animelove's advice column | Ask animelove A Question ]
sia answered Friday September 25 2009, 7:54 pm: definity get oneside done at a time because if you get all four done you will be in so much pain and wont be able to move your lip.its safer to get oneside done at a time aswell and less risk with infections etc.
christina answered Friday September 25 2009, 11:04 am: I actually like the spiderbites better than the vertical snakebites. However, I don't suggest getting it on both. It's usually just a one side thing. Adding a septum to it would be even worse because it would make your face look cluttered with metal. The last thing you wanna do is look like Trace Cyrus.
Get the spiderbites & leave it at that. You need to pull out the phone book & call around. Either that, or search the internet. Do any of your friends have piercings? Ask them where they got theirs done. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
