Q: im looking for a new digital SLR camera ( i like the nikon d60...i have a friend who has one and i love it!)
i was wondering what the differences are between nikons and canons, or what my best choice might be!
i also want to buy a fisheye lens, so i was wondering where i could find a cheeaaaap one (i know they are usually in like the 400 range...but is there anything in the 100 range? or is that just rediculous?)
anyways, any tips on cameras, where to look, what to get, anything is greatly appreciated

i have a SLR canon rebel and a DSLR nikon. (not sure what if it was a canon rebel xt and nikon d80) but honestly, either brand is good. both are top of the line.

they are kind of pricey when they are not on sale, but they are definitely under $100. maybe around $60 - $80.

Q: for some reason, i cannot watch rape scenes in movies. i always close my eyes, cover my ears, and turn away even at the ones that aren't very violent. it's completely and utterly disturbing to me. i can handle blood and gore and anything else pretty much but for some reason i just can't watch it, idk how anyone else can.

I think "rape" is a more relatable issue than bloody and violent occurrences because people don't think mass bloody violence like in war movies is possible for them (unless you're in the military, etc). The media has desensitized people to violence. Rape is sexual violence in a way but still different. Like death is sometimes better than being raped and not killed because you live on to suffer the effects of being raped.

Q: So this might not make much sense, but here it goes. There's always been a blank period in my life. I can remember absolutely nothing no matter how hard I try. For some reason when they would talk about sexual abuse and all that in health, I would always have a feeling I had been abused. I can't explain it any other way than I somehow just knew, but I always pushed it aside & refuse to think about it. That's what I do now actually--when something bad happens, my mind just instinctively blocks it out; it's weird. Anyway, I keep thinking and it's like I'm on the verge of remembering something, but I can't. I just have this very faint memory but I can't put any of it into words. I just really want to figure this out because it would explain SO much. I don't know how I can get the memory to come back though. I'm not really sure what I'm asking, but uh, help? Has anyone else ever gone through this or have any idea what I'm talking about? Hah.

What you are talking about makes sense. Ever watched the movie "The Butterfly Effect"? You brain can black out intensely unpleasant moments of your past, a type of amnesia. You repress the memory. You have to be careful because there's a reason you pushed the memory into the back of your mind in the first place.

You could trim/shave your hair because hair traps odors. Also, wear cotton panties because they breathe better. You may consider wearing pantyliners, period or not, and changing it ever so often. Or change your underwear/shower more. Also, there are feminine wipes. Playtex sells these wipes on-the-go for refreshing yourself down there. There are also these deodorant sprays specially made for spraying your undies and pants, just go to the feminine products aisle at stores to check out the selection. Also, instead of douching (which may be a good idea once a month, I know you said you do not want to) you might want to take baths because they clean the area better than when you shower, you do not reach everywhere inside. Or install a bidet in your house for constant washings. By the way, you should definitely visit a gynecologist just to be safe this cannot attributed to some other problem.

i understand that sometimes one boob can be bigger than the other, but it is NOT noticeable. with me, my friend noticed it once, i didn't think it was so noticeable. but anyways, so my left boob is bigger than my right. im right handed, if that helps anything.. and i was wondering if there is any reason behind this.. i dont want to have one boob bigger than the other. my left boob is like half a cup bigger than my right. is there anything i could do or..? anything? :)

I have that too, it's more noticeable from the side, not that anyone would be able to tell. One's a smaller B than the other. What you can do is add a cutlet or padding in one side of your bra only, to your right boob cup, to even the two out. It's a good solution because whenever I wear a bra, I get annoyed because if I lean forward or sleep with my bra on, and I sleep on my side, so like one boob cup of the bra has more space and it sticks out. =\ So yes, try to pad the other side.

Q: Im a virgin but i smell down there.People say to to douche but nothing is going near my vigina. My boyfriend says its because im a virgin i smell like that..what does that mean. That sucks that you put so much work into the application and didn't get it when your boyfriend did it the day of.

But it's not like you guys were even applying for the same position. There is a lot of competition for getting the position of being a writer, compared to trying for the position of photographer. You can't really compare the two. You should be happy for him. He did it to join you, remember. Whether you got in or not isn't his fault. The fact is that he did it in the first place so he can be with you.

Q: I know this sounds really, really stupid but how do I clean the insides of my ears properly? I read on a Q-Tip box that you aren't suppose to insert the Q-Tip into the ear canal. How do you clean ears then if you cannot put the Q-Tip in your ear? I can't figure out another way to do it and I feel stupid! Can someone just explain this to me?

There is this tool for scraping the internal part of the ear. Be careful, though. They are called ear picks. Sterilize them after every use if you get a metal one, as opposed to a wooden one.

No, it's true that thongs increase risk of vaginal infections because of the g-string (called a butt floss for a reason) slides back and forth when you're wearing it. You don't want bacteria from your anus (and there are tons) to get into your vagina, which is a breeding ground for such bacteria, on account of being a dark and moist canal. Nice health lesson lol. If you wear them, just change underwear everyday, which you probably do. It's not really a problem if you keep clean.

Q: i'm on a diet right now, but i'm always hungry even if i eat big meals. What can i do to stop being hungry all the time??

Drink more water so it seems like your stomach is full. Chew more gum so your jaw is tired, you get the flavor and illusion that you're eating something, and you don't want to eat anymore.

By the way, what "big meals" are you eating? Be sure you are getting enough nutrients.

The best diet is actually eating continuously. Snacking is good. It keeps up your metabolism. Instead of having big meals, eat little ones throughout the day. True stuff.

Q: I received a forwarded email from my best friend who would never lie to me about bottled water causing breast cancer. Supposedly Sharon Crow was on the Ellen Show and mentioned that bottled water left in the car has "dioxins" that cause breast cancer. The email said that she told national television this because her doctor told her about these dangers. I have to assume that this must be ANY bottled water though because bottled waters is typically shipped in trucks from place to place. If this is true, should I stop drinking bottled water?

Water bottles are not dangerous if you keep them at room temperature. Reusing a water bottle that's a problem too. Water bottles, once you've opened the bottle, you should drink it asap and throw it away. It's not intended for re-bottling more water and being used again because there are toxic (cancer-causing) chemicals inside the plastic that makes the bottle that can leak out into the liquid contained in the bottle, that if you drink, is definitely not good for you. How do they leak out? Leaving bottled water in the car is bad for the reason that usually people keep bottled waters in cars and if the weather gets hot, the plastic and everything that makes it up will start to melt, leaking out the toxins into the water, like previously mentioned. The toxins won't necessarily cancer of the breast specifically, but leads to a higher risk of cancer in general. If you plan on drinking from the same "bottle", buy one of those containers specially designed for that purpose, like the ones they sell for athletes.

I just kind of want a guys perspective on something. If a girl that you don't know well, but you see around & have some friends in common with randomly asked you to chill, would it strike you as awkward? Unless you want your hangout where you get baked next time to be a hookup too, don't tell him he's hot lol. It might give off the wrong impression. Since you have mutual friends, it wouldn't be weird to ask if you guys wanted to get baked alone to know each other better. I don't think he'd think anything of it. i was wondering which type of hair removal method is best, for best results etc. i used to wax my underarms, but that just got tedious. so i now use the epilator, but it doesnt do too well with my skin. i have this pink bump, i've had it for quite a while, its going away now though.. and because it pinches my skin sometimes, it blends a little.
so anyways, i was hoping someone could give me an idea as to what is the easiest, fastest and best.
i have a pretty busy lifestyle so something fast and easy would be greatly appreciated.

Waxing and epilating are basically the two best hair removal methods from the root. There isn't much else out there that is less time consuming and better. The main thing is upkeep. The pink bump could be an ingrown hair as a result of these hair removal methods. I would say for the next time you remove hair, either by waxing or epilating, you need to maintain the hairlessness every so often you start to see a little hair growing out. Pluck out each individual hair. That's what I've started doing. Waxing and epilating the underarm is not as effective because you have to wait until sufficient hair has grown out (for waxing, strips and the wax are expensive and for epilating, fine hairs that are starting to grow out are hard to grab by the epilator). With plucking, you can just remove the little hair as soon as you start to see it growing out. I have to keep up the process weekly and check for growing hairs and pluck when I have free time, but if you keep that process up, you don't have to do it in one sitting and waste a whole lot of time that way. So basically, start anew by waxing/epilating, then maintain by plucking. Looks neater too.
