Okay, so my boyfriend and my 2-year anniversary is coming up. I am getting him a dc sweater. I think I might be writing some poetry about him too. I am not sure what to get him as he says he wants nothing for the 2 yr or he says he just wants me but I really want to get him something.
About him:
- He doesn't like chocolate
- He can't wear cheap gold/silver b/c it bugs his skin
- He has all of the cds of the bands he likes.
- Can’t do a scrapbook because he hates pictures and I don't have enough for a scrapbook.
- I’ve already bought him movies, clothes, etc.,
I will rate every response and thank you soooo much for your help!
How about you get him a real silver chain bracelet or something similar? Or maybe a ring with something meaningful written on the inside?
I know that my friend got her long term boyfriend a silver ring, with "never say never" engraved on the inside (That quote meant something special to them both,I'm not sure what though :P)
Or tickets to see his favourite band?
I love editing pictures and editing photography pictures i take, but photobucket doesn't have all the things I need on it. What photoshop can i buy thats around $60 dollars? It needs to be good and have a lot of features ? It needs to be easy to use too.
Please and Thank You!
lyss.
Photoshop is expensive as hell, sorry :(
Agreed with the person below, GIMP is good, or you could try Photofiltre.
They have a free version which is easy to use and if you like it, you can pay for the pro one, which is quite cheap.
Links:
Free- http://photofiltre.free.fr/utils/pf-setup-en.exe
Pro-http://www.photofiltre-studio.com/download-en.htm
I just realized the pro one is called "studio" :P
Hope this helped :)
is there such thing as temparary dreads?
because i kinda wanna dread my hair but i dont know if it would look good and im not possitive so i wanted to try it out
any suggestions?
You can get synthetic dreads. I'm not sure where you can get them, but a goth friend of mine gets hers every now and then, and they look fairly real. Perhaps you could google for places near where you live.
Or just shave a sibling's hair and dread it...
But that's not the best option out there :P
This is more a question for the ladies, but men are perfectly welcome to answer it too.
I'm a guy (obviously) and I've had long hair since I was about 17 or so (I'm 23 now). From a personal standpoint I like having long hair but I'm beginning to wonder if people see something different than what I really am when they look at me. This is especially true of the women I've dated. I seem to attract the type of women who are the complete opposite of me. Myself I'm fairly deep into the conservative side of things, I'm religious, etc... But my exes, who were attracted to guys with long hair, were almost my complete opposites on many views which eventually resulted in break-ups. I've been called a "hippie" and a few other things when I'm actually a very conservative soul.
So I guess my questions are... Do some women (possibly the ones that I would like to be with) take guys with long hair seriously? What is your first impression about the personality of a long haired guy? Do we all seem like flippant elf-boys on first glance?
I'm looking for honest opinions, not what you "THINK you'd think" but rather what you really do think if that makes any sense. And if you find this topic funny, feel free to laugh, as I am laughing right now when writing it. Also, sorry if this is in the wrong category, but I couldn't think of a better one, even the relationship category.
Personally, I too find myself thinking that long haired guys more open-minded but also relaxed.
I tend to get more attracted to long haired guys as well, I'm not sure why.
If a guy with long hair is dressed nicely, and doesn't look like a bum, then I'm very curious as to what his personality is like and what his interests are.
ok so like i have this boyfriend i've been with for awhile now. i've noticed whenever we're making out he'll lead my hands down the like his junk, and like i can feel that its really hard against my hips but i always rush my hands back up to his shoulders. i dont really know what i should do, i'm more or less clueless. like i dont wanna go in his pants but i wanna like do something that'll feel good for him. i'm afraid i might like hurt him and that would be so embarrasing or i'll do something and he wont feel anything at all...i could use some pretty detailed advice here
Another thing my ex liked was when I put my hands inside his jeans. Like on the hips, with four of my fingers resting against his body and thumbs hooked on the outside of the jeans. I hope you understand what I mean.
Basically the same as putting your hands in your pockets with the thumbs hanging out, but just at his waistband. Haha :)
First off I want to start this off by saying, no..I'm not some teeny bopper, I just really need to know if he likes me. What do you think?
1) He seems to keep sitting next to me...EVEN if he already has a seat, after I sit down I find him sitting next to me.
2)Told me I was pretty.
3) Invited me into his house after dropping him off.
4) Told me he enjoys spending time with me.
HOWEVER
1) had an oppportunity to drive with me and picked someone else
2) Doesn't text or call me ever, unless it's regarding school
3) I invited him to see a show with me but he didn't say much, at all. I'd think he'd jump on that opportunity.
What's with the mixed signals?! Guys, I'd appreciate insight from you, but I'd appreciate insight from girls too. It's driving me nuts. Thanks. =]
Although he said that he enjoys spending time with you, he might be uncomfortable doing so for a long time.
It seems to me that he's interested, but then gets put off when things seem to get a bit more serious.
I'd suggest giving it some more time and if it keeps happening, ask him why he doesn't want to go to the cinema or whatnot :)
Good luck!
I ride my bicycle for 20 minutes at least 4 times a week. Problem is, it hurts my bum!
I'm a woman who is somewhat overweight.
I already got an extra large seat, and that helped a lot.
Any tips on how to avoid bruising? I have to sit in an office chair for 12 hours immediately after riding my bike, and it kinda sucks :(
You could try cycling shorts, those have padding in the bum area, this helped my sister :)
If you put an iTunes gift card on iTunes will the redeeming and purhases still be emailed to your account email address?
With my own experience, both are emailed to the account email address :)
so i heard that i doctor can tell whether a girl is a virgin or not.
what is it that they look at that indicates whether or not they have had sex?
They can tell if your hymen is broken, but it could have broken for other reasons besides sex, so unless you tell them, they won't know for sure.
I'm so sorry if this is in the wrong category. picked the best I could... ANYWAY!!
My graduation is coming up. no, not the big old highschool graduation where the tears really SHOULD be shed, just junior high graduation... but I've been at the school as long as I can remember--leaving something so close to me is GONNA cause tears!! Haha..
So, how can I hold BACK those tears? I'm worried that I'm gonna be crying during the practice even, so please help!
Something that stops me from crying is staring straight up and imagining a giant bunny.
It sounds stupid, but it works :P
Where can I find some?
I'd suggest checking Body Shop :)

"I'd say that if you feel like you need to spend A LOT of time with a friend, and you care for everything they do, it is on the verge of becoming more serious, rather than 'friend love'."
Wanting to spending a lot of time? Well, I can't really say. I have many acquaintances, but few friends, only three--two males, one female. And naturally I hang out with the two male friends more often than than the female, and of course I talk more openly to my male friends (because, you know, there are some subjects you best talk when there's no girl around, hehehe), not to mention that she has her own female friends to hang out with.
I do enjoy our time together, though not often do I have such an opportunity. (Whenever we go somewhere, like to the movie or amusement park, we usually go in ground of six or eight, you know, the more the merrier.) But nevertheless, it's just basic male-female attraction. I highly doubt there's anything romantic in that.
---------------------
"Do you feel jealous/annoyed when s/he's with someone of the opposite sex from him/her? And do you feel as if you need to let him/her know that you care about him/her a lot?"
To begin with, I am a male, xD.
And jealousy? Ah, well, most likely none. More like, it's curiosity. When I know that some guy asked her out on a date, I do secretly tail them sometimes, but I usually get someone to go with me, too.
It's hard to tell because she never really gone out with anyone yet. (She's one of those people with the policy of never kiss until after the 3rd date, and apparently she hasn't gone on a second date with anyone yet. All of them got dumped after the first date. I don't know the reason though.)
Nevertheless, I tailed them because I wonder what would happen during hte date. We've been friends since 7th grade anyway, and now we both in 11th grade. I don't think it's weird to be curious about that (although it's invading their privacy, I must admit that, but it's tough to control your curiosity, you see.)
And nope, I don't feel like it.
-----------------------------
"Also if you're not sure of the other person's position in your friendship, look out for signs.
If they reflect what you feel, then that should answer your question :)"
Well, for one thing, I'm pretty sure that she doesn't interest in a relationship, seeing as she has a history of immediately dumping four guys right after the first date.
Secondly, I would like to keep being just as "friends," too. High school relationships are very fragile and bound to be crumble. Besides, the more complex something is, the more potential problems it has. Not to mention that we'll go separate ways as soon as we enter college anyway (I'm majoring in Biology and minor in Psychology; she's majoring in Chemistry and minor in Math).
If I know that it's not going to work out right, why start it anyway? So . . . yeah, I just wanted to know where I am stand so I could either remain at that place or step back.
So, now that I have more information perhaps I can be more helpful.
If you want to maintain this close friendship, then you're definitely at the right position...
You keep it balanced therefore it doesn't give off a "romantic" vibe and you don't do things that you'd do to someone you're desperate to date.
As with the dates, just because she dumps a guy after the first date, it probably means that she hasn't found the right guy, rather than not being interested in having a relationship, but it could be either. I have plenty of female friends who just go on one date because throughout the date they discover that the guy is an asshole or whatever.
My dating relationship with my best male friend didn't work out, so you're sensible not to pursue getting together with her. Usually it's hard to date someone who is a really close friend.
So yeah, to me it seems that your position is fine if you want to keep things as they are now, there's nothing romantic in this friendship between you and her, so nothing threatens it.
It's good to have a close friend whom you've known for a long time and can rely on but you don't have to have a romantic relationship with. Because you seem to be good as you are, this will last a lot longer, in contrary to the high school relationships you referred to, that often fail, which I definitely agree with.
I hope this finally answered your question :)
Hello,
Let's get straight to the point, shall we? I would like to ask you that, in your opinion, where does the boundary between close friendship and romantic love lie?
More specifically, in your opinion, how do determine whether the love that in which two close friends of the opposite sex have for each other are just the normal care-for-a-friend type of love or romantic love?
Thanks,
Ng2491
P.S. Uh, is this enough or do you need to know the reason why I ask such question, too?
Hello to you too,
I'd say that if you feel like you need to spend A LOT of time with a friend, and you care for everything they do, it is on the verge of becoming more serious, rather than "friend love". I can relate to this because I have a male friend who is like my best friend, but before we used to date. I realized that I cared for him more than a friend when I got jealous when he was with other girls, and I'd always want physical affection from him (hugs, etc)
So if you feel as if you're treating your close friend with more affection that is required or s/he does the same to you, your love is more romantic than friendly.
If you also notice that the other person is constantly on your mind, even if you're buying a DVD and you're thinking "Would like this" then your love is more complex.
Do you feel jealous/annoyed when s/he's with someone of the opposite sex from him/her? And do you feel as if you need to let him/her know that you care about him/her a lot? Then you've crossed the friendship boundary.
Also if you're not sure of the other person's position in your friendship, look out for signs.
If they reflect what you feel, then that should answer your question :)
I really hope this helped, if you have any more questions, just ask.
Good luck!
hey i'm 16/f. my mom just bought a new house, and i absolutly love music, so i'm doing a music theme to my room. i have some really cool ideas, but i only have one problem. i can't find good bedding to go with it. i've been looking on wakeupfrankie, pb teen, jc penny, and all those but i can't find anything good. my room (not my choice) is this really weird green color. kinda hard to explain, so the bedding would need to be like black or lightish blue. i just want something simple, like with music notes or a guitar or something on it, but still cute so it doesn't old ladieish haha. ok so thanks!!!
I found this:
http://store.delias.com/item.do?itemID=47848&categoryID=&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter=
But it has pink on it...
There may be a chance that the pink goes with your walls...
Otherwise you could keep checking that website, since they have some nice bedding, which is updated every now and then.
I came across this as well:
I doubt that it's what you're looking for, but here's the link just in case :)

And some others which are more plain, but music themed :)

These are just pillowcases, but I personally love them, and you could just get a black duvet cover to go with them :)
http://www.amazon.com/Snooze-City-Designs-Printed-Pillowcases/dp/B0025VKJT4/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1239811180&sr=1-10
Also if you look next to the picture, there's also a "Mix Tape" variation.
I hope this helped somewhat, and good luck with the room! :D
Hi. I have every Sims 2 CD for the computer except IKEA home stuff and Deluxe
Just recently, my sim kids and teenagers go to school
At 1:00pm when the teenagers come home. Around 1:05pm my game sends my sim kids in the middle of the house and fast forwards to 1:16pm everytime they go to school
Since it hasnt reatched 3pm yet, my game thinks my kids never got on the bus. So therefore they fail school and get taken by scocial workers
Its quite frusterating, since they DO get on the bus
It happeneds with EVERY new family I make
But just started about three weeks ago
How can I fix this?
Any questions you might have in order to help you determin and answer, please ask
Thankyou
The best thing to do, just uninstall everything, I know it will be annouing, but that usually fixes it.
Sssoooo for the last few days my hips been hurting when i move it at wide angles (say im standing and i lift my leg left leg sideways (not infront or behind) and it feels like the joint is aching a bit. i havent had any major injuries in a loong ass time from skatboarding which to say the least isnt normall for me lol. Anyways i get out and start skating, i dont do anything too big untill i'v warmed up for at least 20 mins just blasting round the park as best i can while getting used to the feel of my board again but after say an hour or so my hip starts hurting again. i get home after say being out for at least 4 hours normally and my hip's still a little achey but its allways gone by the next day untill i try to skate again. is skating over and over like this going to cause me and long term trouble? like am i ripping a ligament slowly?
also i cant remember how it happend, i think i jumped off of somthing and my backfoot didnt quite make it back to the board so i slid along the ground doing the split's. it could have been that but i dont remember that one hurting at all
The best thing to do is to ask your doctor, rather than us, s/he'll be able to give you the best answer :)
I definitely wouldn't suggest ignoring this though, cause it could get a lot worse and it may even cause a permanent damage.
uhmmm this sounds really nasty and embarrassing but I constantly get razor burn/pimples on my armpits from shaving and I have no idea how to prevent it. I do everything I'm supposed to, I don't shave too often (probably every 2 days or so or even once a week at the most), I don't shave too close to the skin and I don't go over an area more than once. How do I prevent these nasty bumps? I've been putting some acne creams and body cleansers on it but they don't really seem to be working all that great. So if anyone could give me some tips about this that'd be amazing.
thanks,
MichelleMonster
I had the same problem, but I bought a new razor, Venus Vibrance, it's really good. Also I shave whilst in the shower, and I use shaving cream for women.
It opens up the pores and makes shaving way easier.
I suggest you try this :) But you don't have to buy the razor...it's just something I recommend :P
Do any of you know the name for these nike trainers?

I would say the first style is better...
The brown would look way nicer and more natural than the black...but that's just my opinion
:)
Your current hair is really nice!
